Resumen
Introduction: Achromobacter is a genus that has been gaining importance among rare and opportunistic nosocomial pathogens in the last decade, its case reports are increasing, hence the importance of reviewing the state of the art about these microorganisms. Methods: we included studies that analysed the microbiological aspects of the genus and its relationship with infections in humans, which were accessed by means of a systematic search of the information in the Pubmed database carried out on 15 September 2022; selection bias was reduced with respect to the exclusion criteria (studies in animals, articles that explore other genera and not Achromobacter, articles that explore Achromobacter unrelated to infections in humans). Results: The search yielded 92 articles of which 49 met the inclusion criteria. Conclusion: is a ubiquitous, opportunistic pathogen in humans, causing nosocomial infections, with intrinsic resistance to a broad spectrum of antimicrobials.

Resumen
Peripartum cardiomyopathy is a pathology with an atypical presentation that implies a challenge for the attending physician, both in diagnosis and treatment. The diagnosis is one of exclusion, so a woman with a clinical picture of heart failure in peripartum periodopathy must rule out other causes, such as pre-existing valve disease, acute myocardial infarction, pulmonary thromboembolism, and cardiodilation. Its treatment is based on the management of heart failure, in addition to hemodynamic support in patients who require intensive care. It is for this reason that we present below the clinical case of a 30-year-old female patient who was referred to our hospital, with a torpid evolution of her disease, with an unfavorable result.

Resumen
After a year of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the concept of general low risk of infection by SARS COV-2 for pregnant women is refuted, as the number of infections increases worldwide and the urgent need to know the pathophysiology of the disease, a greater number of autopsies were performed, showing that the pregnant woman is vulnerable, with a considerable increase in admissions to the ICU, in Ecuador the highest number of pregnant women who died in 2020 were due to COVID-19. The objective of this case was to demonstrate the importance and safety that vaccination against COVID-19 represents for pregnant women to reduce the risk of complications. As a methodology, a bibliographic review was carried out, a study of clinical reports and contrasting of the data with the bibliography consulted, reaching the conclusion that vaccination is essential in these patients for their safety and that of the baby

Resumen
Summary: Introduction: Organizations are constantly changing to adapt to current working conditions, which has generated the need to generate and increase the commitment of workers towards them, however, an excess of commitment could also generate a negative effect as is work addiction. Objective: Therefore, the present study aims to determine the possible relationship between Engagement and workaholism within the Ecuadorian context. Methods: To carry out the study, the UWES and DUWAS questionnaires were applied to a total of 115 participants. Results: Among the main results obtained, it is observed that men have a higher probability of generating work addiction with a P. Value < 0.05 with an OR = 3.085 compared to women. Also, a significant association is observed between engagement and workaholism Chi2 < 0.05. Conclusions: Through these data, it is sought to visualize a problem that has been the subject of debate for years and, in turn, provide tools to Human Resources departments to improve working conditions for the Ecuadorian population.

Mangroves are recognized as the wetlands with the most significant capacity to store carbon, this ability to store carbon is due to their high productivity and the low rates of organic matter decomposition. The study area is one of the Intensive Carbon Monitoring Sites (SMIC, initials in Spanish) in Mexico. In the southern coast of the Mexican Pacific, in the La Encrucijada Biosphere Reserve (REBIEN). The SMIC has an extension of 1x1 km. In this area there are eight conglomerates. Each conglomerate contains four circular-shaped secondary units of 400 m2. The inventory includes trees ≥ 2.5 cm of DBH (Diameter at breast height). Tree species, DBH, height, canopy diameter, the basal area and tree density. Tree biomass was quantified, and the carbon store was determined using the biomass-to-carbon conversion factor of 0.48. The carbon in standing dead trees was estimated using the methodology of Kauffman et al. (2012). The environmental parameters quantified: interstitial salinity, pH, temperature and flood level. Results R. mangle is the dominant species, conglomerate 2 presented the highest tree density and conglomerate 4 the lowest. Conglomerates 8 and 4 had the highest averages for DBH, basal area, height, and crown area, in contrast, the conglomerates 1, 5, and 2, had the lowest averages. In the study area, the fall of trees was the factor that most affected the aboveground (aerial) carbon content, which increased 6.91 and 3% respectively during the second and third year of monitoring. Natural mortality increased and affected mostly young trees 2.5 to 10 cm tall. Wood extraction remained constant during the three years of study. During the three years of study, conglomerate 6 presented the highest biomass averages with 210.4 Mgha-1 and carbon stores of 101.0 MgCha-1; in contrast, conglomerate 5 registered the lowest average with 124.9 Mgha-1 and 60.0 MgCha-1 . R. mangle presents the biggest store of carbon with 60.4 MgCha-1. This mangrove system registered an increase in natural mortality during the study period, which could be the result of the massive amounts of sediment the river has been carrying after the passage of Hurricane “Stan” in 2005.

Resumen
In recent years, the interest and concern about immigrant students concentration has increased. However, there are only a few studies analyzing this phenomenon from the perspective of the protagonists themselves. The article aims to analyze the narratives that immigrant population has about school segregation, as well as the school’s choice strategies. For this, in-depth interviews have been conducted with immigrant people living in Vitoria-Gasteiz in order to know the processes that occur in the school environment among minority cultural groups and analyze the existing intra-group attitudes. The results indicate that families of foreign origins are not alien to the guidelines and mechanisms of schooling of native families. In addition, and as other analysis have pointed out, the study highlights the influence that the unequal disposition of social, cultural and economic capital has on the definition of their capacitiesand practices of school choice.

Resumen
The concerted or charter schools, created by private and civil actors, follow the official curriculum, are entitled to receive public funding, and can be chosen by families in their right school choice, are on the rise both in Europe and worldwide. In many countries it has been observed they have negative effects to reproduce and to generate school-education inequalities. Within the European context, Spain and Denmark have a prominent level and tradition of concerted schools, albeit with different histories, logics, and practices, and with different effects in relation to school-education inequality. The comparison is institutionalist, organizational, and multilevel: a) national; b) regional-local: Madrid and Copenhagen; and c) school: three concerted Jesuit schools (two in Madrid and one in Copenhagen). In Denmark, the heterogeneous sector of concerted schools has operated within a broad consensus on concertation and curriculum, and it has generated dynamics of both inequality and public-civil collaboration. In Spain, the concerted schools, mostly catholic, have operated within favourable formal regulations, but without a clear consensus, contributing mainly to school segregation, while also including possibilities of public-civil collaboration. From this multilevel comparison some policy recommendations can be made, such as the concept of concerted school with a social function as a basis for the public funding agreements, a curriculum consensus, more locally adjusted schooling policies, and an effective and democratic school autonomy. These policies can lead to a better public-civil collaboration to benefit the whole education system, towards lower educational inequality and better education-society relation.

Resumen
The Covid-19 pandemic has physically closed educational institutions such as schools and universities. However, teaching continued to be adapted to the remote context. Through a documentary and bibliographical analysis guided by different documents, such as the report Cenário da Exclusão Escolar no Brasil: um alerta sobre os impactos da pandemia da COVID-19 na Educação and the survey TIC Domicílios, this exploratory article brings notes concerning the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on educational processes. Returning to the previous school exclusion scenario and during the pandemic, focusing on the remote teaching model, the deepening of educational inequalities was evidenced, given the context of unequal access to electronic devices, understood as objectified cultural capital.
