The research aims to reflect on Environmental Education in the context of initial reading instruction and literacy in light of Edgar Morin's complexity from a bibliographic research. The study presented here arose from a concern regarding how Environmental Education is developed in the school context, in view of a fragmentation of knowledge mainly linked to the natural sciences, in which political, social, ethical and cultural inherent aspects to the complexity of environmental education are diluted, establishing an abstract and reduced unity between society and nature. Through a bibliographic research of two works by Morin (2005; 2015) and the dialogue with other theoretical contributions, such as Araújo (2011); Mariotti (2013) and Lorenzetti (2020), we understand the urgent need to look at Environmental Education in its multiple facets, in an opening dialogue between the most varied areas of human knowledge, favoring teaching knowledge and pedagogical, political, social and environmental practices.

This article reflects on the simulacrum and silencing present in the advertising discourse. Specifically, we are dealing with an advertisement by Vivo Telefônica Company. Companies in this field frequently invest in campaigns to encourage their target audience to consume devices, as well as data/telephone packages. But Vivo Telefônica's “time for everything” advertising campaign presents a different proposal than what is expected: disconnect. This advertising consists of several videos, which have been broadcast on the internet and also on TV. The advertisement named “Casal”, published in 2018, is our object of analysis in this study. To carry out this work, we used the Pecheutian French Discourse Analysis as a theoretical framework. Thus, we seek to analyze the discursive marks of this materiality, identifying the Subject of this discourse, its conditions of production, the ideological formation in which the discourse is inscribed and the meaning effects that emerge from it. Our findings point to a discursive simulacrum in the campaign, as the primary objective of the current mode of production, in which the sale of telephony services is subsumed, is profit and not people's health, as Vivo's advertising campaign makes it seem.

This work aimed to determine mite species in H. mabouia lizards in Arapiraca region, as well as to verify if the mites present in the lizards are shared with native species, such as members of the genus Tropidurus. The collection of H. mabouia took place from February to May 2019, using traps and nets. The lizards were captured alive in the Pé Leve Velho village, Arapiraca – AL, then sent to the Laboratory of Entomology and Acarology at UFAL Campus de Arapiraca so that a detailed examination of the epidermis region could be carried out using a stereomicroscope to detect ectoparasites. Ten specimens of H. mabouia were captured. A total of 348 ectoparasitic mites were found in them. The occurrence of mites of the Pterygosomatidae families, genus Geckobia was also verified in all captured lizards. The mean intensity of infestation was 34.8 mites per lizard. There was no record of ectoparasite mites in Tropidurus lizards.

Technologies are essential nowadays, making environmental education even more fundamental as a social awareness practice. This research aimed to carry out a survey of scientific works on the use of Applications in environmental education as a tool to raise awareness of the correct disposal of electronic waste. The literature review involves consulting scientific publications, in Portuguese, indexed on Google Scholar in the period from 2017 to 2020. The following descriptors were used in the search system: “application” “environmental education” “electronic waste”, “development” "Application" "electronic waste" and "development" "application" "environmental education". The selection of the most relevant scientific publications on the topic was carried out after reading the titles and abstracts. The analyzed works point out applications for the awareness and disposal of electronic waste, a platform for selective collection, solid waste management, reverse logistics management, sustainability, environmental education and reporting of environmental crimes. It is hoped with this study, to make the population aware about the environmental impacts of the incorrect destination of solid waste, using apps as propellants of information.

Brazil is the country that kills the most LGBTQIA+ population in the world. Thus, situations of exclusion and violence both in the family environment and on the streets have increased in recent years. In light of this statement, this study aims to relate the vulnerability and situations of exclusion against the LGBTQIA+ population and the need for shelter centers for this minority. The methodology used in the production of the work will be the qualitative bibliographic research when reviewing articles, books and periodicals. It is understood that the lack of information and violence are allied and this is a contributing factor to such vulnerability, since they are motivated by prejudice and other elements that surround the life of the individual belonging to this population. In this context, it is necessary to guarantee the principle of human dignity, affirmed by the 1988 Constitution.

The transformation of natural space into a humanized space requires studi technicians that aim to mitigate, as much as possible, the impacts on the environment andconsequently to man himself. You must always observe environmental laws and its recommendations regarding the use of natural and artificial resources so that they meet technical standards and contribute to harmony man and a half (social and environmental well-being). The civil construction waste plan constitutes an integral part of the documentation required to obtain the Environmental authorization of the projects. The said Plan aims to implement necessary actions in order to avoid, minimize, prevent and control the possible environmental impacts that occur from the generation of waste fromcivil works of the projects. With that, it will reduce, reuse, recycle, will store and give the proper final destination to these wastes, translating into actions that will bring economic, social and environmental benefits.

The objective of this case study was to investigate the commercialization of flowers and ornamental plants in the city of Corrente, located in the extreme south of the state of Piauí. This study was born as a result of an activity developed in the Floriculture and Landscaping curricular component, in the Agronomy course. Therefore, a qualitative research and case study was developed. The information was collected through an interview, where the questions were previously formulated and structured by the students, based on the contents covered in the classroom. The information and data were analyzed and interpreted through content analysis, making it possible to understand the reality of the company. The investigation through the interview showed that the company is the only one that operates in the municipality and that it has a fixed clientele with a variable profile of consumers. Given the variety of commercialized plants, there is a production chain, which is related to wholesale and retail sales, as well as the supply of inputs. Knowing that the productive chain of flowers and ornamental plants is in all Brazilian states, it is extremely important to apply technologies and studies in the area. This is evidenced through the fruit that was born with the Podcast developed in the discipline, which aroused interest in students of the agronomy course, since they had not yet had contact with this agricultural branch. These results provide support for the development of more research related to the economic importance of floriculture.

Introduction: the increase of abdominal adipose tissue in early pregnancy causes metabolic changes that promote insulin resistance, which is linked to alterations in fetal growth detectable by ultrasonography. Objective: to determine the association of the variation of the adipose strata of the anterior abdominal wall with the presence of insulin resistance and with fetal biometry. Methods: longitudinal analytical study in a population of 144 normopoietic pregnant women, apparently healthy, with optimal reproductive age, nulliparous, belonging to the Polyclinic “Chiqui Gómez Lubián” of Santa Clara City. The sample was 123. Theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were used. Results: subcutaneous fat decreases as preperitoneal fat increases from the first to the second trimester, both expressed with greater intensity in pregnant women who did not have insulin resistance at the beginning of gestation. In the pregnant women who did not have insulin resistance, all the biometric variables decreased in the classification of fetuses appropriate for gestational age from the second to the third trimester and increased the frequencies of small and large fetuses, while in those who had insulin resistance, the cephalic circumference and the abdominal circumference showed stability in the identification of large fetuses. Conclusions: the lower variation of the adipose strata of the anterior abdominal wall is related to the presence of insulin resistance at the beginning of gestation in pregnant women in whom the biometric variable abdominal circumference is associated with the identification of large fetuses for gestational age from the second trimester.
