Resumen
This essay explains the objectives of our project, which is aimed at specialists in classical Spanish theatre, bibliographers, and historians of the book. We intend to create an exhaustive online census of comedias sueltas in American libraries, with rigorous bibliographic records, images of title pages and colophons, and an authority file. These tools are supplemented with essays by recognized experts in the field. Comedias sueltas are notoriously difficult to locate in collections because of the shortcomings with which they have been historically catalogued. Our website aims to remedy this problem.

Resumen
It is speculated that the amount of manuscripts accumulated in libraries and archives around the world far exceeds the amount of (original) text printed or typed to the present. Just a small amount of these documents has been digitized so far, and only part of it has been transcribed. Therefore, the most interesting information contained in the vast majority of digital images (i.e., the information transmitted by the text), remains inaccessible for easy reading, editing, indexing and search. In this article, projects and effective solutions recently developed within their frameworks are presented, both for the search of information and for the complete transcription of historical handwritten documents.

This paper presents some of the results obtained by using the Artelope database to characterize Lope de Vega’s Byzantine plays. The use of combined searches made it possible to reveal some distinctive traits of these plays that would have been very difficult to detect (e.g. the extension of the dramatic action and the high amount of characters). It is a proof for the significant value of Artelope as a tool for the characterization of Golden Age theatrical genres.

This paper presents the most important results of the IDT project financed by the French Agency for Investigation- ANR. A few examples are provided which illustrate the possibile uses of the textual database (freely accessible on line) which has been constituted thanks to a collective work. The project also produced an output of collective publications which are briefly reviewed here.

This article provides an outline of the ASODAT project, a Digital Humanities initiative aiming at interrelating the data contained in different databases on Spanish classical theatre and stage practice. Specifically, the reviewed databases are: CATCOM, which compiles a calendar of theatre productions; CLEMIT, which analyzes theatre censorships; MANOS, cataloguing theatre manuscripts and their authorial and scribal hands; and DMP, collecting evidence on songs included in theatrical texts.

This paper retraces the main stages in the history of the website La casa di Lope, which was launched when websites devoted to Golden Age Spanish theatre were not as many as they are today. This increasing presence has gone along with great changes in designing and planning webpages. After examining future goals and present difficulties of La casa di Lope, we try to take stock of the nearly fifteen years of its continuous presence in the Internet.

This paper highlights the different distribution of counter-argumentative markers (CAM) in a monolingual comparable corpus made up of decisions issued in Spanish by the Spanish Supreme Court (SSC) and by the European Court of Justice (ECJ). The suggested analysis intends to prove that the need for translatability and the peculiar decision-making process within the ECJ account for the trend towards simplification and normalisation in the Spanish judicial eurolect.
