This study investigates the often subtle and at times blatant presence of misogynistic language in our daily lives. This study queried the News on the Web (NOW) corpus to conduct an appraisal of the collocational behavior of the lemmas woman and man. Furthermore, by using network graphs, we expand the analysis of collocations beyond traditional corpus approaches which helped provide lexical evidence of stereotypical constructions. This work also intends to promote the use of techniques and tools from corpus linguistics in the digital humanities. The collocational profile drawn up based on corpus evidence shows that man collocated more strongly with adjectives related to mental sharpness, sexuality, and fertility whereas woman patterned with adjectives related to health, marital status, and religious affiliations.

Resumen
In this study we develop an analysis of the use and usefulness of statistical tools for the analysis of Historical Linguistics. Specifically, we focus on PAUP* and the multiple possibilities of analysis that this tool allows. In this way, we analyze the files provided by the IELEX project following the criteria of Maximum Parsimony and Maximum Likelihood, developing an interpretation of the data provided and providing a guide to the commands and processes followed that can help and guide the researcher. In the same way, we intend to advocate the use of statistics, and the many tools it provides for quantitative analysis in the field of Digital Humanities.

Resumen
In this study, we aim at distinguishing comedies and tragedies among 112 dramas written by Calderón de la Barca, using procedures established by distributional semantics. Fifteen of these comedias nuevas have already been classified by qualitative researchers as either tragedies or comedies, respectively; for another 82 dramas the classification was unknown. Four independent document embedding methods are explored, which differ from each other in matrix creation and reduction, and in the calculation of similarity or distance matrices. The best results –measured against the pre-established classification of these dramas– are obtained through the classification procedure that applied the strongest matrix reduction. In addition, a contrastive vocabulary analysis with word embeddings is carried out, based either on word lists produced by the four tested methods, or on the log-likelihood probability distribution for two sub-corpora containing only dramas already determined to be comedies or tragedies. This step permits the identification of 130 terms that are each discriminative either of comedies or of tragedies. The outcome shows that the explored methods identify tragedies with greater accuracy than comedies, indicating that tragedies have more distinctive features. It also becomes apparent that one could more appropriately consider classifications such as tragedy and comedy as poles between which gradual differences can be observed, whereby the ensuing transitional area contains comedias nuevas that have been described in prior research as tragicomedias or comedias mitológicas.

Resumen
It is increasingly common to read papers by researchers from multiple disciplines about the prevalence of the English language as the lingua franca in academic publishing, also pointing to linguistic discrimination by reviewers or scientific editors. These problems can also be identified in the field of the Digital Humanities on a global scale. But do we, Spanish-speaking digital humanists, publish in our languages when the opportunity presents itself? And are we quoting our linguistic colleagues?
Through a meta-analytic approach about the geopolitics and multilingualism in English and Spanish-speaking DH, we examine 9,580 bibliographic references contained in 510 scientific articles published between 2014 and 2021. We want to draw attention to the communication and dissemination practices of knowledge in a community with great sociocultural, linguistic and geopolitical diversity, showing inequality in the number of citations of works on HD in languages other than English.

Resumen
The notion of scientific knowledge is common in the Latin American regulations that regulate HEIs, reflecting in national plans and in social science curricula. Neo-positivism, for its part, supports the notion of science from the idea of ??a truth tied to experiment, and built from evidence that can be validated by materialistic, empirical and objective means. From this angle, all scientific knowledge, and especially in social sciences, are the result of scientific proof and experimentation, and not of speculation or theoretical proof. We maintain that there is evidence that the responsibilities of producing and debating scientific knowledge are barely achieved in Ecuador. The legal frame is analyzed and compared with a sample of 13 syllables and a meso curricular design (14 programs) approved by the respective academic commissions and their Faculty councils. In order to understand this problem, the discourse of 11 syllables of the pedagogical sciences, representing a subjectivist reading of the social sciences, 2 syllables and a meso curriculum on Criminology, representing an experimentalist reading, distributed among public, private, metropolitan and provincial universities. It is concluded that the contents of these programs barely understand the importance of test and contrast in the construction of knowledge, nor do they incorporate "learning practices" into the substantive function from the dynamics of scientific thought. We suggest to investigate in depth and rethink the absence of the epistemological notion of science and scientific reality in the model and contents of Higher Education and social sciences, at least in this country.

Resumen
Every year in the world thousands of lives are lost as a result of natural disasters, many of them derived from the lack of knowledge of phenomena and others due to the existing social reality, for these reasons, this article seeks to reflect on human vulnerability to natural disasters, from the socio-communicational perspective, taking as reference some considerations in Peru. For this, the documentary methodology of phenomenology was used, assuming a heuristic position of the field of critical rationality. The findings made it possible to determine «sine controversia» that natural phenomena are irreducible, therefore, a disaster management system focused on a socio-communicational approach will reduce vulnerability, based on mass communication to educate citizens, information systems technology to reduce tensions during the catastrophe and an emergency social information model for the recovery of the impacted territory with community resilience. These elements must be considered to reorganize the disaster management communication policy carried out by SINAGERD in Peru

Resumen
Protected Areas in Ecuador cover 20% of the national territory. More than 19 million hectares are dedicated to the care of flora and fauna, allowing the conservation of biological systems. The are related to promoting educational, environmental issues and mostly tourism. The objective of this research is to analyze the impact generated by tourist activities in the Machalilla National Park (PNM) during the covid-19 pandemic on Police criminometry (to measure social peace) and on the perceptions of environmental impact. The research approach is directed qualitatively and quantitatively, supported by techniques such as statistical data from the David System of the National Police, participant observation and surveys. For data collection, we used field observation journals and a Google Forms questionnaire for a population of 45 tourists, among nationals and foreigners. The results indicate that tourism activities within the PNM have been significantly affected by the pandemic since activities such as trips, some shopping stores, training centers, bars, restaurants involve a high degree of personal contact. Likewise, there is an increase in violent crime in this territory. Since protected areas are considered spaces that generate economic income for local and rural communities, we promote the hypothesis explaining criminometric behavior as a result of the breakdown of local economic expectations.

Resumen
Suicide is presented as one of the most important public health problems in the young and adolescent population, with few reviews. The objective is to carry out a systematic review of clinical, psychosocial and educational interventions for the prevention of suicide in adolescents and adults. youths. A search was performed in three journal search and indexing databases (PubMed, Scopus and Web of Sciences) that examine the scientific evidence according to the principles established in the protocol of the systematic review registered in PROSPERO (CRD42021242348). As results, 34 studies were included that show the influence of clinical treatments based on the cognitive model, training and motivational support in the educational intervention to increase the scope of the interventions and their follow-up. Some aspects of the quality of these programs, the difference in prevention actions in different geographical regions, and the most used programs are discussed.

Resumen
Custody is an institution of Family Law aimed at the protection of children. If the parents do not reconcile to obtain custody and visitation, the Peruvian Judicial Power, through the Specialized Family Judge, determines who will exercise custody through a psychological profile study, of a forensic nature. The effectiveness of the psychological evaluation has allowed, in several cases, to identify personality disorders on the part of the parents and sexual indemnity of the minor, generating criminal consequences with those people who have violated the best interests of the child. It is argued that this experience -with its limitations- is concatenated with other situational policies tested or designed, such as those related to crime reduction, assisted death and social prediction, also efficient or potentially more efficient than the traditional ones. It is argued that the figure of psychological evaluation is situational and recovers the central function of science and intelligence resources in social sciences, for the establishment of legal truths. Therefore, the study of the situation, from a situational perspective, contributes efficiently to the development of criminal and public policies in general.
