Resumen
Collaborative economy applications have grown rapidly in recent years due to the widespread use of the Internet, changes in consumer behavior and the indirect boost generated by the SARS COV 2 pandemic. Airbnb is one of the most used applications in Guayaquil and Ecuador. In this research, the authors aim to characterize and segment the hosting service market in the collaborative economy application Airbnb in the city of Guayaquil. For this purpose, a quantitative study was developed that included 91 current lodging offers during the month of January 2022. The data allowed the elaboration of descriptive statistics and the development of a cluster analysis for segmentation. The results show three clearly defined segments: lone wolves, partner fun, and family fun. The authors conclude that there is an effect of the Airbnb application on the supply and demand of the lodging sector in the city of Guayaquil.

Resumen
During the course of the pandemic caused by the COVID-19, the Ecuadorian health system has shown failures in care coverage and, therefore, in the quality of health services, where the multidimensional elements involved have not satisfied the population needs.
In such virtue, the health sector has been a key factor for the development of society, since it has allowed the treatment, prevention and mitigation of diseases. Therefore, the system has not been exempt from incorporating actions focused on raising the continuous improvement of the processes.
Therefore, the general objective was to design a quality management model for the improvement of services at the General Ambato Hospital belonging to the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute (IESS). The methodology that has been implemented is based on a descriptive, cross -sectional study under a mixed approach, for information collection, a survey was applied to the end users of health services, which has been carried out in order to Determine the current situation and establish mechanisms to improve comprehensive care related to the elements: infrastructure, medical equipment and communication information technologies.

Resumen
Although it is true when we hear terms such as art and design we think that we are talking about the same thing, this study focuses on contextualizing each area of study to take into account their main differences. The objective of the research is focused on knowing the relationship between art and graphic design during the period 2010 - 2022. The methodology is of a quantitative nature provided by Scopus and Web of Science in bibliometric scientific production methods. The main results are outlined in the most productive authors, language of origin of the research, gender of the researchers, countries of origin of the publications and keywords. Finally, as future research, it is proposed to carry out an analysis of the interaction between artistic chairs and the potential that they give to design students from different higher education institutions.

Resumen
This article is a descriptive approach to film consumption trends in communications students at higher education institutions in Lima. In recent years, the arrival of the Internet, and with it the digital revolution, has brought about an important change in people's consumption patterns with respect to their preferences when consuming movies. Digital platforms have created a new format for film consumption that many users already use continuously.
To describe these trends, a survey was conducted with 109 students who answered questions regarding their preferred means of consumption, the ways in which they do so, the habits they have, their preferred content, the distractions that occur during viewing and the investment allocated to this activity.
The results obtained show the influence of digital media on film consumption, with the arrival of streaming services, which currently represent a significant part of the audiovisual market, being an important part of this change. In a hyperconnected reality, users seek the possibility of interacting with the content they consume and the film industry seems to be adjusting to these new needs of viewers, providing them with facilities and prioritizing their comfort. Knowing these consumption trends helps to better understand users whose preferences are changing as reality and the context in which they find themselves change.

This research analyzed whether organizational communication is related to the satisfaction and commitment of employees who work in the hotel sector on the northern border of Chihuahua. A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational method was used, for this, a non-probabilistic sample was used for convenience, and the employees who work in the hotel industry were considered as study subjects. A total of 102 data was obtained, for which a self-administered questionnaire of 54 items [18 for communication, 13 for job satisfaction, and 23 for organizational commitment] was used, which allowed the assessment of each of the study constructs, the data collected were analyzed using SPSS statistical software. The results reveal that, in the context of the study, organizational communication is positively and significantly related to job satisfaction and organizational commitment, as well as greater communication, greater satisfaction, and commitment on the part of employees generated.

Resumen
Public communication of science is increasingly becoming an essential activity in the scientific activity, not only to reduce the distance between the scientific system and society, but also to contribute to the social appropriation of the knowledge generated. The different media platforms emerge as privileged spaces for this communicative link by virtue of their massiveness and capacity to promote multidimensional exchanges. This article reflects on the particularities, scope, problems and possibilities that arise in the task of communicating science through social networks. It analyzes the experience of an editorial project of public communication of science, Jujuy científica, through the systematization of the results obtained in its media platforms. Different variables related to the performance of Jujuy científica's Facebook and Twitter pages are examined between May 2020 and December 2021, with the purpose of finding indications about the receptivity of the published contents and the engagement by the community that this social networks propitiate. The variables considered are the number of followers, the reach of publications and the different forms of interaction with the audience, following methodologies for analyzing social media networks. The results indicate that social networks impose their own logics, so the challenge is not only to communicate science correctly, with specific and accessible content from and for the platforms, but also to overcome the obstacles inherent to mediatization in media networks.

Resumen
The present investigation was carried out in the Central zone of Ecuador in the provinces of Cotopaxi, Tungurahua, Bolívar and Chimborazo with the objective of knowing first-hand what was the situation that they had to face during the Pandemic, under the consideration that the majority works in small media and the reality of the provincial journalist is far from the journalist of the big media in big cities. Surveys and specialized interviews and observation sheets were carried out. Among the main findings are that during the Pandemic, a leap was made from the traditional to the digital in the midst of rushed processes, they also showed confusion due to biosafety protocols that in some cases are not entirely clear, the majority agree that it was made visible and exacerbated the labor precariousness manifested through the significant increase in work and occupational risk, changes in the coverage process were also mentioned, as well as the difficulty in reaching the sources, although they also point out that one of the circumstances that is most rescued is the solidarity between journalists. The research is an approximation due to the pandemic situation.

Resumen
This paper analyzes four bills proposed by the United States Committee on the Judiciary to promote competition in the markets of the digital economy. Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google are intermediaries between their users and other economic agents. This position allows them to charge supra-competitive rates, impose abusive contract terms and extract data from the companies that depend on them. Therefore, the platforms constitute and regulate a market for third parties in which they compete simultaneously. This paper examines the proposed legislation, its relationship with the current legal framework and its effects on the commercial practices of digital platforms. The regulations provide: 1- adopt structural presumptions and reverse the burden of proof on anticompetitive mergers and acquisitions; 2- prohibit discriminatory conduct that dominant platforms practice against commercial users who depend on them; 3- require the structural separation between the activities that constitute discriminatory conduct; and 4- establish mandatory interoperability and data portability requirements. Taken together, these measures have three effects on competition. First, they prevent market concentration. Additionally, they eliminate conflicts of interest over simultaneous ownership or control of a platform and a complementary line of business. Finally, they lower the barriers to market entry by lowering the costs of switching services.
