Resumen
Fake news, rumors, and deception are not new phenomenon, but their impact has got stronger with the fastness of the information spread on the Internet. Although much of this (mis)information is of little importance, in recent times it has been mobilized for electoral purposes, as ways of destroying reputations and, in the COVID-19 pandemic, as cause of bad health practices. Fake news has an impact on the public space and could be seen as evidence of crimes. How can we understand the place of fake news in the framework of theoretical and methodological problems of digital humanities or digital history? Does such a theme add anything to the ethical commitment involved in the performance of researchers and public archives? This article stems from these questions: presenting a brief overview of the COVID-19 pandemic fake news in Brazil, defending the importance of better archiving policies for this digital documentation, and pointing ways to interpret and act on these issues in the public sphere.

Resumen
This article consists of an experience report on the use of Inkscape in the didactic practice of basic and higher education. In an educational scenario marked by technophobia, Inkscape constitutes a viable resource for various socio-economic scenarios, as it has a free and open source license. Based on the teaching experience in higher education and the possibilities opened up by the Research and Extension, it was possible to expand the initial scope of activities with the software. At first, it was necessary to use specific methodologies (pedagogical workshops) for software training, aiming at sharing experiences instead of transmitting content. Subsequently, it was about the appropriation, editing and handling of maps from Wikipedia, with the objective of creating a database aimed at modeling encyclopedic information to a literacy capable of creating graphic design and visual narrative in the development of languages other than written and linear text.

Resumen
This essay is initially a brief explanation of what the Digital Humanities are, using recent bibliography on this subject. After this initial explanation, an in-depth look at the concept of text mining is carried out and a brief report/critical comment dealing with the use of Perseus as an initial tool for text mining is also presented. Possibilities and limitations found in the use of this tool are presented.

Resumen
The thematic and geographical vastness that characterizes Michael Löwy’s essays and books through more than six decades is extraordinary. What sense can one make of such a diverse work that takes us from the study of liberation theology to surrealism, from unequal and combined development in Trotsky to Kafka’s literature, from libertarian Judaism to Eric Hobsbawm and Max Weber’s eco-socialism, among other subjects? In October 2022 I proposed to Michael that we recorded a small conversation with aim of inquiring the least visible side of his research options and the evolution of his ideas, taking as starting point his thesis on young Marx’s theory of revolution. The conversation took place in his house in Paris, the city where he mostly resides since several decades ago. I believe it represents both a relevant source for those interested in Löwy and an invitation to explore lesser-known aspects of his work.
