Resumen
The massive incursion of audiovisual technologies, first analog and then digital, during the second half of the 20th century, modified the theatrical spectacle, invaded by projections and screens with a more or less artistically relevant functionality (Paz Gago 2006a and 2013). The irruption of much more advanced and sophisticated technologies such as virtual reality, already in the 21st century, is causing an even deeper metamorphosis of the spectacle. The central question is whether it will transform its very semiotic nature. Actors replaced by their virtual avatars, immersive projection scenographies, reception through sensory devices… colonize scenics shows that will be analyzed here. The transformation is so radical that, for the first time in twenty-five centuries, the end of the Representation mode is proposed, which would be replaced by the Simulation mode.

Resumen
The goal of this paper is considering on the formation of neologisms, taking as a starting point the terms “Destruktion” by Martin Heidegger and “Déconstruction” by Jacques Derrida. Both philosophers face the same problem: to find a word that means the new concepts that they elaborate in their philosophical systems. In both cases it is appreciated that objectively there is a revitalization of forms already existing in each language. But that, in fact, lies in different construction processes. It is intended to show how Heidegger adapts a Latin term to German and Derrida picks up an existing word that is not widely used in French and gives it a new meaning. And this in two authors committed to the creation of words at the service of their philosophical thought.

Resumen
Far from being presented as an adaptation of William Burroughs’ novel, the movie The Naked Lunch offers a reflection on writing attentive to the work of an author who only presented himself as a writer when he experienced the trauma of the accidental death at his hands of his wife Joan. According to Cronenberg, writing would not be for Burroughs but a stigma that would have separated him from his initial plan to exterminate all rational thought, a curse from which he would try to flee using a delirious language. However, the language virus always manifests itself as a barrier that cannot be fought against.

Resumen
The goal of my article is to study the adaptations of short stories by Edgar Allan Poe that Chicho Ibáñez Serrador made in the TV program Historias para no dormir (1966-1968). I must point out that my work does not rest on a classic vision of adaptation in what refers to the comparative analysis of works to determine their degree of fidelity, thematic, argumentative and formal modifications, etc. My objective is to analyze the way in which Chicho transferred Poe's fantastic and terrifying poetics to television, showing how the director —determined by that massive audience and not yet accustomed to such genres (in that medium)— use certain plots, settings and themes, and how this decisively influenced the means of creation and reception of the fantastic and terror in Spanish audiovisual production.

Resumen
The relationship between music and literature is a constant since the beginning of both with song being, clearly, the genre where this relationship is most evident. Literature has influenced music decisively, in the same way the latter has served as inspiration for literati. In this article we seek to show literary influences present at «Héroes del Silencio» musical output, especially those coming from symbolist poetry. Verse handling, artist's standpoint on society or praising of the mundane pleasures are part of the legacy in this poetry that makes itself apparent by listening songs from the aragonese band.

Resumen
This article deals with the discourse of punk lyrics, taking as a reference a representative corpus of songs from Spanish bands that have been attached to this style (Kaka de Luxe, Parálisis Permanente, Eskorbuto, La Polla Records, Doctor Túa y los Graduados). The characteristics that conform the people of the doscourse are specified. The linguistic modes and features of the message of this musical style will also be analysed, in order to delimit the rhetoric (or anti-rhetoric) characteristic of this musical style. In the long perspective of Cultural History, punk discourse will be inserted in the tradition of parrhesia coming from the cynical school.

Resumen
This work analyzes the dynamic semiotic structures and the functions of a piece of music and its interpretation: “Bullerengue. Colombian rhythm”. The discursive cultural tradition in which the score arises is studied: its lyrics, its music and its “signed” interpretation, music translated and interpreted in the Spanish sign language (LSE).The multiple levels of their syncretism or intermediality, and their interaction, are considered, especially when performed by the Cantatutti choir. Poetic links of text and music are especially analyzed.

Resumen
This article proposes a hypothesis to the discussion of the transmedial paradigm in cultural studies: the relevance of the concept of "narrative of the show" to understand a certain trend in contemporary Spanish-American literature. The study is based on a corpus of about fifteen Hispanic-American works from the last two decades, considered as a sample field and not as specific "cases" of analysis. The aim is to detect how the representation of audiovisual fictions, artistic performances or video games passes into the verbal regime. The essay seeks a literary approach to the aforementioned transmedial paradigm and, for this purpose, it uses critically proven narratological categories, particularly related to the starting hypothesis, such as the showing / telling opposition. Proposing that the verbalization of the show necessarily leads to a spectacularization of the word, what is here suggested is the consideration of this type of narration as a (perhaps epochal) strategy to question - once again - realism in literature.

Resumen
In 1937 Samuel Beckett wrote a letter to the German bookseller and publisher Axel Kaun in which he outlined the aesthetics that will shape his writing, a writing that aspires to overcome the conventions of language and tends towards reduction and attenuation. Also, during this decade Beckett was impressed by the reading of Beiträge zu einer Kritik der Sprache (1901-1902), by Fritz Mauthner, an Austrian philosopher who developed a scepticism regarding the possibility of knowing the world through language. In this sense, by means of these two texts, it is possible to trace Beckett's tendency towards the «Literatur des Unworts» and silencing, which will affect not only his oeuvre, but also the fact of choosing French as a language of creation.
