The present contribution deals with the meaning of the feminine leadership from a masculine perspective. By using a qualitative approach, opened interviews were developed to understand the meaning that men assign to the feminine leadership. The speeches were analyzed on the basis of the Strauss/Corbin-theory (2003). The results show that men agree with the changes experienced by the gender rolls. In a specific way men agree that women need to have more societaleconomic opportunities, that it is necessary to have more equitable relationship inside the family. However within this positive framework, emerging tensions configure a dissatisfaction of the masculinity that in turn impact the intimate sphere questioning the present day inter-gender relationship. Finally, there is a men group with more progressive speeches which venture towards a positive evaluation of the women capacities and their assumed public space-rolls. However this positive evaluation is vigilant, ambivalent, and influenced by a perception of confidence/uncertainty, efficiency/inefficiency of the effective societal contribution that women are able to reach.

Different studies referred to the young, have been adopting the insight of trayectories as an entry point to the phenomenon of the young. The strength of this insight is that it allows to join in a same analysis process, the structural, educational and working extents that act on the social construction process of the young. The application of this insight has been of great importance in order to understand the conditions of the young in European countries. Nevertheless, in Chile there have been few research initiatives intending this kind of approach. The present article tries to apply the trayectories insight to the analysis of a specific sector of the young: that which assist to the educational institutions belonging to municipal public education. In this article we study how transitions occur from childhood in poor urban areas. Recognizing that the study of transitions has been focused on two age groups, on one hand, the analysis of the transition from youth to adulthood and on the other, from adulthood to old age (Blanco, 2001), we have found a gap in the studies of transitions from childhood in Latin American. Considering this, in this work we study what characteristics assume the same in poor areas. Also, changes and continuities in the vital trajectories (work, education and marriage) of a group of former children —interviewed during 2004 and 2008 and interviewed again in 2013— are analyzed. Today, they are young and live in the city of La Plata/Buenos Aires. It aims to recognize the particularities assume transitions from childhood in areas affected by structural poverty, inequality and job insecurity: Under what circumstances are those who viewed spend their childhood in a doubly disadvantaged, because of their poor condition and child workers? What events show the transitions from childhood? How this transition is experienced? What particularities does it have? Is a direct passage from childhood to adulthood developed? or Is it possible to consider youth as a shorter period in life of those who live in poor conditions? This work takes the life course approach —which considers that transitions are especially vulnerable periods in the life experience of individuals— and uses a qualitative methodological strategy based on prospective diachronic information

This work presents an análisis of the discourse over real and ideal stereotypes created by young students of the D. F. related to gender. The investigation is placed among a bigger study regarding the analysis of the inter cultural competences in these subjects. Starting on the realization of life stories and argumental groups, the presence of gender stereotypes will be analysed among young people discourse in order to appoint how far those stereotypes help or impede the disposition towards the difference. This will help us to reach a gender concept as internal boundary, this is, as a negotiation space and/or conflict of the realition between genders, which can be understood as inter cultural relations. The results are tentative and are based in the application of four life stories and two groups of discussion. Generalization is not intended, rather to open reflexive currents and subsequent analysis.
