Resumen
The present article proposes to analyze the processes of political socialization that the university youth of Valparaiso experience across his civil trajectories. The problem of research assumes that the university students constitute the subjects in which it is possible to describe and analyze the structural and subjective transformations that there crosses the society Chilean. In the study there applied 832 questionnaires youth of both sexes students of universities traditional and private of the region of Valparaiso. The results appear across five dimensions: juvenile conditions, political socialization, political identification, political participation and legitimization of the political thing. The work concludes with an analysis of the relation that the university students establish with the political participation of type conventional and not conventional.

Resumen
The recent history of Chile has important milestones that have shaped our society, as was the Popular Unity period and the return of Democracy in Chile. Thus, in this research it is of interest in knowing the views of policy, and the dreams youth have about today’s society, two groups that have spent their youth in each of the periods mentioned. First, youth today who have been stigmatized as anomic, more distant from politics and motivations more diffuse and on the other hand the youth of the period of the Popular Unity, which was characterized by rebellion and real conviction to change the world. The methodology used is semi-structured interviews to eight people, four individuals who belong to these youth groups in the Popular Unity and four youths from the period of the return to Democracy. It concluded that there are important differences between both groups, modifying the youth group of 70 conceptions of society and politics that was about youth in the Popular Unity period and reflecting the youth group of 90 dominant discourse present. With regard to collective dreams in both groups we find anti-utopia.

As part of the investigation «juvenile political participation practices from which youth build citizenship in the city of Medellín», This article suggests ways to recognize the youth group that travel between organizations and youth groups identified as two divergent forms of political participation of youth. In principle it is possible to name the youth organization as «officially» social participation, community, political and civic youth, they are based on the recognition and acceptance of structures, objectives and collective interests are based on formal institutions own the world adult, such as youth ministry, scout groups, political parties, rural groups. Other forms of youth participation, youth are based on actual interest, this highlights the cultural groups, musical, aesthetic and resistance. Between them we’ll see how youth group forms vary between organizations and youth groups.

Resumen
Facebook has become the Social Network Site (SNS’S) most popular in Chile. Thousands of young people who establish an identity on this site in order to build your own network of contacts and then generate socialization that directly affect both their privacy and their social-emotional life. This communication aims to describe and analyze the motivations, uses and consumption made by users of the network UCSC Chile on Facebook.com conducted from a qualitative perspective. The findings suggest that Facebook’s written more than a social space is a cultural product whose consumption at the macro level has become fashionable. Despite the co-content tended to «prosumption», because the users are also producers in this environment that prioritizes strong and weak ties of personal communities.

Resumen
On the basis of a comparative study on regional South American youth, their state of petitions and public politics of youth, presents methodological and analytical dimensions to the case of Chilean youth, establishing the possible relationships between these main topics. The purpose of the study was designed to match the imaginative ways in which cognitive maps of different routes with young players and build up a proper public policy to the experiences and transitions of the young of today. We conclude that it must be youth policy that meets the needs, interests and especially time of youth, making distinctions between elaborated maps and youth itineraries, where the youth policy should be a third element and acts as a mediator.

Resumen
The policy of the Revolution, from the very triumph of 1959 has been testing the high effectiveness of policies to boost the universal equity accelerating processes of upward social mobility for the popular sectors and in particular for the improvement of disenfranchised racial groups, majority, usually within these sectors. Despite this equity gaps remain racialized, associated with unfavorable starting conditions involving social mobility barriers. This implied the need to combine universal instruments comprehensive affirmative action in response to a large extent, the programs are explained in the article.

Resumen
The academic production on youth in Chile is growing, although it is not necessarily framed in an institutionalized field of study, with ongoing discussions between researchers and public dissemination of its work. Hence in this article proposes a set of initial coordinates that can bring about a state of the art on the subject, as a key step in evaluating the knowledge produced and the potential legitimacy and institutionalization of academic and disciplinary policy in this area of study which defines the concern to youth.
