Resumen
This article attempts to connect changes of the new ways of youth with the historical transformations of work which occurred in the second half of the twentieth century. It highlights some of the theoretical discussions which guides the reflection of these processes as a way to contextualize the analysis of conversation produced by youth on the job. Finally, attempts to link the themes to give order to the speeches of youth which circulate with regards to different opinions on the current debate for the future of employment.

Resumen
The educational expansion and the continuity of difficulties regarding labor insertion are two prominent matters on the current debates about the transitions of the youths. In this context, this article is focused on analyzing both the educational experiences and the different situations related to the link of education - work activities during the first five years after graduating from compulsory education. The analysis shows the results of a study on young graduates (2011) from middle schools in Ciudad and Buenos Aires province, with its two central findings allowing us to glimpse differences in the process of choosing careers in higher education and different combinations with respect to the work experiences that are transited.

Resumen
The present article partially covers the findings on the 2016-2017 Universidad La República seed- funded qualitative research project “Social Representation of The Body and ‘Flaite’ Style in Young Law Offenders”, based on a sample of five drug – using young heterosexual law offenders between 16 and 18 from Rancagua. Its main findings highlight the construction of masculinity in young individuals as a process mediated by seasonal, homoerotic practices and detachment from a patriarchal male beauty (masculineality) to favor a new, female-nurtured paradigm opening a new, alternative way to consolidate their male identity (male alterity).

Resumen
This article analyzes the results of previous studies on the concepts of citizenship and civic exercise aspirations of young Chileans who have, and how these are being addressed by existing programs in our country. The presentation identifies the challenges for the development of education policy and macro-social context that promotes civic education. An analysis is also more specific aspects of citizenship education that arise in existing programs such as: a) creation of a democratic school culture, b) an assessment of citizenship education and the role of adults; c) line between the program, educational project and institutional environment; d) strengthening of the methodologies and equipment implementing e) problematization of poverty; f) extension of these experiences in real life contexts of young people. We analyze the implications for strengthening the educational work in the school and a youth civic education policy

Resumen
For years in our country, the trend and political participation of university students was key to the various governments that took place until 1973. The University of Chile, in both the first and largest higher education institution in the country, was always seen with a special interest, even stating that «what happened on the date, happened in Chile». However, once started the authoritarian regime in our country, the relationship defined above is no longer such until today. This research, exploratory qualitative aims to analyze the possible relationships between national policy and university policy, and explain the reasons for which, apparently, the political orientation of the student organizations at the University of Chile and do not reflect reality national
