The use of technology in both institutions and the population has become increasingly common. For this reason, a mobile application called "Recicla y Gana" has been created with the aim of promoting the recycling culture in Portoviejo. The application offers easy-to-use menu options and educational content about recycling. For the development of this application, a qualitative-quantitative and exploratory research methodology was employed and carried out through Adabo tools. The results include a detailed step-by-step process of the application and screenshots showing how to access it from a mobile device. It is expected that "Recicla y Gana" will be a practical and useful tool for the inhabitants of Portoviejo, as it will allow them to access information on recycling points and waste prices from anywhere and at any time.

This research aims to demonstrate that the "mule" of drug trafficking is a victim within the crime of trafficking in persons for sexual purposes under certain parameters established in Ecuadorian legislation comparing it with Argentine legislation. Also, the crime of drug trafficking and its acquittals will be studied, showing that the ratios decided by the chambers are based on other concepts such as: the competence of indigenous jurisdiction, principle of favorability compared to the reduction of penalties for the crime of illicit trafficking of scheduled substances subject to control (hereinafter the crime of drug trafficking), poor practice of evidence, among others. Without leaving aside, the analysis of Argentine legislation is the same that has points in common with the Ecuadorian reality and is applicable under our legal system.   It should be noted that the issue has not been studied in Ecuador in the last seven years. Rather, with the entry of the Organic Integral Penal Code (hereinafter COIP) a difference between the scales of drug trafficking was consolidated and discussion of Ecuadorian drug legislation was stopped. Indeed, it is necessary to visualize the lack of use of article 93 of the COIP on the principle of non-punishability of the victim of trafficking, which, being so broad, gives a valid argument to the defense of human drug mail by evidencing its quality as a victim. However, it is important to establish the requirements for this exemption from punishment to be assessed, such as evidence of exploitation, participation in drug trafficking as a product of abuse and consistent proportionality between the situation originated and the crime committed.

This research addresses the implementation of 360° virtual tours at the Hotel Emperador de Ambato, examining their potential as a digital differentiation tool in the local hotel industry. The purpose is to evaluate how these emerging technologies can affect aspects such as visibility, user experience and competitiveness in the market. Using a qualitative and exploratory approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted with hotel managers to gather information and perspectives on the adoption of 360° virtual tours and their potential impact on the local competitive environment. The findings suggest that Hotel Emperador is interested in exploring innovative digital strategies, such as 360° virtual tours, to differentiate itself in a competitive market. These tours could allow potential customers to explore the hotel facilities remotely, providing a detailed and realistic view of rooms, common areas and services, without directly promoting the tool itself. In conclusion, the adoption of digital marketing strategies, such as 360° virtual tours, could have a significant impact on the hotel industry in Ambato, improving aspects such as visibility and user experience. In addition, it could contribute to increasing bookings, customer satisfaction and profitability in the short, medium and long term. This research provides valuable insights into the adoption of digital technologies in the hospitality industry and provides a solid foundation for future research and development in this field.

The research started with the purpose of interpreting the process of democratization of citizen participation in local public management, starting from a discourse that establishes an opportunity for institutional governance, supported by the following guidelines: Understand the democratization of citizen participation as part of the co-responsibility of local public management, and contextualize citizen participation from an institutional governance position. The research is analytical-interpretive, inductive and with a documentary review strategy; Theory saturation is used from the technique of constant comparison, facilitating triangulation between the theories consulted and the criteria of the researchers, and the narrative of the interviewees (key informants), which allowed the proposal of a new construct from this research, giving in turn an opportunity for a new praxis within the public administration, especially local governance. The research is descriptive thanks to the characteristics of what citizen participation means and its scope of application; The Grounded Theory is proposed as an analysis strategy, allowing to sustain the process of categorization that gives rise to the three aspects for good practice within local public management: Build citizenship by making the entire community responsible for common affairs; promote citizen participation in the process of decentralization and integral transformation of the political structure of the city, and institutional governance facilitates a transversal reading of social needs.

The purpose of the research is to interpret health governance as a strategy of ethical value in the health service; supported by the following guidelines: Identify the original principles of governance, and review the positions of governance for health that contribute to the ethical value in the service. The research was carried out at the IESS Hospital of Manta, province of Manabí, framed in the interpretative paradigm and support in the phenomenological-hermeneutic method, in addition to having a descriptive-interpretative design; where the object or phenomenon subject to study, is interpreted from the arguments that the qualitative approach itself determines. The analysis strategy is supported in the route established by the grounded theory (Strauss and Corbin), executing a process of constant comparison, as well as the triangulation of the information collected (direct observation, documents and discourse of the interviewees), including the corresponding theoretical saturation. Hermeneutics is made for the understanding and interpretation of the narrative of the key informants and their corresponding association with the topics addressed, such as: Health governance and the ethical value of the service with its respective association with the unit of study. The research shows significant findings, including the fact that a new paradigm (governance) contributes to public institutions in their processes of generating public value, having as a finding and product a good practice such as seeking a public value of ethics from health governance.
