Resumen
This research note seeks to expose how the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic has impacted the Indigenous Peoples of Malaysia. For this, it analyzes how the economic, social and political rights of the different indigenous peoples of the country have been affected. Particular attention is paid to the relationships between indigenous peoples and extractive companies during confinement and de-confinement, and previous experiences of epidemics caused by environmental degradation that have uniquely affected some indigenous peoples in Malaysia are collected. Preliminary findings show that the pandemic, far from having been an opportunity to exercise their autonomy, has seriously affected their present and future rights.

This note addresses the situation of the indigenous group Inkal Awá from Nariño (Colombia) in the current framework of the Covid-19 pandemic. The text focuses especially on the current context of the Telembí subregion, a strategic corridor and ecological enclave where a multiplicity of armed actors are present and where there are 6 of the 32 indigenous reservations that the Awá People's Indigenous Unit (UNIPA) represents. The Awás inhabit a historically contested territory by economical, military and political interests. Nevertheless, with the signing of the Peace Agreement in 2016, new actors, factors and opportunities to guarantee the physical and cultural survival of this Indigenous People have come into play.

In this article we describe some of the effects that the coronavirus pandemic has had on the Mapuche people. The latter in a context of conflict between the Chilean State and the Mapuche people, and with a limited legislative framework of defense of indigenous peoples.The focus will be on the large conflicts that have emerged with in this larger context and on some of the answers that we could observe from the Mapuche communities in the south of Chile. The information has been recollected mainly using the media and personal interviews.
