The objective of this article is to describe the genocidal social practices that were carried out against transgender women and sex workers in the city of Manizales between 2015 and 2019. The research was based on a case study, using a methodology of reflexivity and feminist epistemological approaches. The conclusions are: 1)  policies of systematic weakening are implemented against this population sector, through various repertoires of institutional violence; 2) the objective of the practices being promoted is to impose hegemonic models of gender and sexuality on society; 3) trans women resist individually, collectively, and organizationally against  repressive actions.

One of the main concerns discussed by various feminists over the decades is the relevance of women’s “voices.” It is commonly considered that the visibility that women from different latitudes have focused on regarding their particular problems necessarily goes through a discourse. Thus, there has been a tendency to associate “the voice” as synonymous with resistance to relationships of dominance; while its opposite, “silence,” has been conceived as an example of submission and passivity. This article reflects on silence not as an absence of discourse, but as a discourse in itself. Through the analysis of stories of women in prison, I propose that we view silence as a practice of resistance that is historically and geographically situated.

This article gives a descriptive account of some of the practices and knowledge of women hackers in relation to the mastery and appropriation of specialized computational techniques, based on a feminist methodology that involves the situated exploration of the person conducting this research. These findings, although still in the process of analysis, aim to outline a possible technological appropriation that will contribute to the feminist movement of the 21st century, through the principles of hacker culture, to build a new and viable feminist hacker struggle.

This article studies the fiscal policies applied to the indigenous population of Chiapas between 1812 and 1815. I based the study on the idea that the abdication of Fernando VII, the reforms promoted by the Spanish Cortes, and the financial problems of Guatemala´s treasury led to changes in the fiscal policies to which the indigenous peoples were subject. The article discusses how the political and social instability that the kingdom of Guatemala experienced during those years limited the scope of these measures in order not to ignite popular discontent and facilitate the formation of insurgent movements.

Using a mainly ethnographic methodology, this paper discusses why the voice of women and their agency is still scarce in the history of India and especially in Sikh history. It then describes the 1984 Delhi pogroms as voiced by these women. The text analyzes the complex ways in which widows open spaces for decision making, advocacy, activism, and organization. Violence destroyed the world as they knew it, but it opened up other possibilities, such as the ability to move from the private to the public sphere, work for the first time, and decide on their marital status. They also formed leaderships and consolidated a political movement.

Mendive. Journal on Education
The career guidance process goes through different stages; one of them is the professional reaffirmation that is characterized by the consolidation of professional motives and interests during the study or preparation for the performance of the future profession; in this sense, the group educational project in Technical and Professional Education occupies a primary place. It was the main objective of this work, to expose the stages and essential actions to commit, from said project, with the first year students of the Computer science specialty in the First May Polytechnic Center of Pinar del Río, place where the investigation; the research process was carried out on a dialectical-materialist basis and methods of the theoretical level and empirical level such as the historical and logical, inductive-deductive, analysis-synthesis, modeling, system approach, observation and documentary analysis were used, which allowed a theoretical-practical assessment of the educational reality. The proposal contributed to the strengthening of students' interest in the study of the computing specialty.
