Wastewater is an environmental problem that threatens aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, so the objective of the research was to carry out a phytoremediation test with aquatic plants in wastewater from the Jipijapa canton treatment plant. The methodology used consisted of an experiment where three Eichhornia crassipes plants from an area with high population density were put to the test; these plants went through an acclimatization process and then were subjected to effluent water from the treatment plant for nine days. Before and after starting the bioassay, the parameters of pH, electrical conductivity, turbidity, color, and odorwere analyzed. Physicochemical tests resulted in an acidic pH of 5.5, conductivity of 156.0 S/cm, turbidity of 49.8%, dark brown coloration, and bad odor of the water before starting the study. After nine days the parameters were pH of 8.17, conductivity of 256.4 S/cm, turbidity of 4.71%, colorless with solids and odorless. The results obtained corroborated the problem with the water from the residual treatment plant and the phytoremediation capacity of E. crassipes; which can be a friendly solution to the environment in the treatment of wastewater.

Resumen
The conception of Sustainable Development, an idea formulated by the United Nations, aims to draw a path that allows the articulation of economic growth, social equity and the optimization and improvement of the state of the environment. The international scientific community is obliged to formulate the theoretical - methodological foundations that lead to establish practical courses that allow to incorporate in a reliable way sustainability to the development processes. The notion of sustainable landscape, as a formulation aimed at building a comprehensive vision of the sustainability of spatial and environmental systems, began to be addressed in Russian-Soviet Geography since the 1980s. The objective of the article is to present the basic elements of the Theory on the Sustainable Landscape from Geoecology, with a scientific, qualitative approach, based on the experiences of the authors in its formulation and application in some Latin American countries. For this, an analysis of the conception of sustainable development was carried out, the role of Geography in sustainability, the interpretation of the landscape category used by Geoecology, the sustainable landscape was defined from the geoecological approach and the instruments for its design.

Resumen
The teaching and learning of algebra still have some obstacles, such as the mechanization of knowledge and the difficulty in understanding the algebraic language. Therefore, the objective of this study is to describe a teaching practice on the content of functions of the 1st grade, with a contribution from the Theory of Didactic Situations in the context of remote teaching. Didactic Engineering was used as a methodology, with a group of twenty-five students participating in a pedagogical complementation project, which offers mathematics classes in extracurricular hours. By using the Theory of Didactic Situations for the experiment, the GeoGebra software was considered as a support tool for the institutionalization stage. It was understood, therefore, that the Theory of Didactic Situations represents a significant teaching theory in the context of polynomial functions of the 1st degree and the development of algebraic thinking, especially in the face of remote teaching, in which the need to encourage students to be active in their learning, it became even more essential.

Resumen
The purpose of this article is to show broadly what is based on the main author's doctoral thesis on the advances in the characterization of Vectorial Thinking through problem solving in engineering students at the Antonio Nariño University. In the activities carried out for this purpose, a set of challenging and non-routine problems was proposed, where five modes of thought that characterize vectorial thinking involved in the students came to light and are reflected in the rubric for its characterization included among the results of the investigation. As a contrast to the theoretical contribution of the doctoral thesis, and as an innovative element of the article, a generalization of the approach based on the DNR theory proposed by Harel (2021) is shown, where its so-called inhibitory and catalyst shortcuts are discussed in relation to some concepts of the course

Resumen
This study addresses the trajectory of the teacher and researcher Pilar Orús Báguena. Within the framework of the project entitled “The first researchers and teachers in the area of Didactics of Mathematics in Spain: academic trajectories, contributions and obstacles overcome”, women who contributed to the development of the area in Spain are being interviewed and collected information. Her research training in Didactic of Mathematics, her teaching work and her responsibility in university management make her one of the most important figures in the constitution and consolidation of Mathematics Education in Spain.

Resumen
This work is part of the results obtained within the research project "The first researchers and teachers in the area of Didactics of Mathematics in Spain: academic trajectories, contributions and obstacles overcome". This study focuses on the academic and professional trajectory of the teacher and researcher Dolores Carrillo Gallego, for this we will start from her initial training until reaching her current relationship with the area after her retirement, also assessing her research career and her work in university management.

Resumen
Functions are considered one of the most important topics in mathematics as well as the relationship of this science with other disciplines. The student's difficulty to relate the different semiotic registers that allow representing and working with functions is one of the most mentioned by Mathematics Education researchers. This paper analyzes the proposal for addressing the theme of four current school textbooks, focusing on describing the tasks presented around the registers of representation that they put into play and the cognitive demand that their resolution requires from the student body. The analyzed texts present tasks with a predominantly second level cognitive demand, that is, they require students to establish relationships between different registers in the same task for its resolution. However, the authors prioritize conversion tasks between verbal to graphic register and vice versa. The other conversions are very little demanded in the resolution of the tasks.
