Resumen
The nursing staff has worked to perfect its epistemic object through the dimensions in which it develops, however, it has remained stagnant within repetitions of healthcare activities, studies show that the empirical knowledge acquired is not sufficient for the challenges in the society and the changes in the health-disease process, evidencing the need to access continuing education courses, but there are challenges that hinder access to education and training programs. The objective of the study was to analyze the factors that influence participation in continuing education from the perspective of the nursing professional. In the methodology, a study was carried out within the interpretive-sociocritical paradigm, of a qualitative type and ethnographic, contextualized in a hospital of the second level of care in Ecuador. The participants were 4 nursing professionals and a semi-structured interview was applied on the subject in question, promoting reflection on it. The main results highlight that the factors that influence continuing education from the perspective of the nursing professional are work overload, excess responsibility, and the courses are not focused on topics of interest to the professional, discouraging them. It is concluded that despite the felt need for continuing education in nursing professionals, there are factors that hinder their implementation, ranging from the workplace, institutional to personal reasons, producing a lack of motivation in their execution.

Resumen
The incorporation into learning environments of information and communication technologies has resulted in them being also used by teachers in academic management processes in the teaching-learning process applying new methods, techniques and instruments. The universities in Ecuador since the validity of the Organic Law of Higher Education and its regulations, as well as its own statutes, have been running training processes in different fields and with emphasis on the use of information and communication technologies. The objective of this research is to analyze the management of information and communication technology and its relationship with academic management at the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences of the Technical University of Manabí. As a research methodology, it is based on an extensive bibliographic review on the subject of information and communication technology management in the university field, also incorporating the study of documents related to teaching processes and university management, interviews and surveys are also carried out Teachers. The result reveal the importance that teachers give to these technological tools, however, there are deficiencies in their management due to the lack of training, motivation, and improved controls in the different academic processes.

Resumen
The objective of the research is to compare the levels of sports resilience in young athletes of the young athletes of the Manabí Sports Federation. Using scientific methodology regarding observation, inductive-deductive process and the statistical and field method. With techniques and instruments that validate the application of the SV-RES Test, Observation Records, Entry and Exit Chart (sport, age, resilience level). Population: Athletes between the 18 and 25 years old in 3 categories that were; climbing, chess and boxing. The results address an immediate dimension where resilience in athletes operates according to the disciplines they practice: in the disciplines that require strength, and physical dexterity such as climbing and boxing, the level of the personal resilience is a bit higher because it works objectively with mental concentration, in the face of defeats, beatings and systematic states to which athletes are subjected; in the case of athletes in the chess area, their level of resilience varies due to mental demands and confidence. As a final conclusion the three measured scales (I am, I have and I Can) operate properly on each one. The presence of the professional in psychology must be continuous and methodological in the needs of the athletes.

Resumen
The investigation arose due to the need to know the level of user satisfaction with the attention of the secretaries in the public companies of the city of Portoviejo, having as an initial diagnosis that there are deficiencies in the quality of care and especially in the ability to solution to user requirements. The objective was to identify the level of satisfaction of the users who receive attention from the secretaries in the public companies of the city of Portoviejo in Ecuador. The study is descriptive, longitudinal, it was carried out during the year 2019, theoretical methods were applied such as analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive and historical-logical; As empirical methods, the survey aimed at users and secretaries of public companies was used; As a global result of the investigation, it was possible to identify that the population shows enough apathy and disinterest or lack of concern for the quality of care they receive, it could be considered that there is some resignation when they see that they have made previous complaints about the deficiencies in care and even abuse However, the authorities of these companies have done little to remedy the matter, concluding in general that there is a need to improve the quality of customer service by the secretaries working in public companies in the city of Portoviejo.

Resumen
The cultural factor without a doubt that exerts great influence on healthy lifestyles, in the province of Manabí, Ecuador, there are serious cultural problems that have an impact on the health of the population, one of them being the deficient food culture, which puts people at risk of diabetes. The objective of this work is to identify the food culture that the urban population of the Jipijapa canton of the province of Manabí has in Ecuador and how it is having an impact on the rates of diabetes. The research is descriptive, it is a longitudinal study. The project is funded by the State University of Southern Manabí. The theoretical methods that were worked were the analysis-synthesis, historical-logical and inductive-deductive, as empirical methods were worked with the nursing records, body mass index control (BMI), and blood glucose control. We worked with a sample of 91 patients identified as people at risk of having diabetes in the future, at ages 35 to 60 years. One of the main conclusions reached at work is that gastronomy in the southern area of the province of Manabí, to which the Jipijapa canton belongs, has a wide variety of options, the majority revolves around rich foods in carbohydrates and these are influencing the increase in risk factors for diabetes.

Resumen
The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship of parental functioning, exercised by direct relatives or persons outside the family circle and the perception of support of students with functional diversity of the different schools of the Technical University of Manabí. To study parental functioning, the parental functioning scale was used, aimed at 43 parents and to know the perception of support, an interview was applied to 74 students with functional diversity. As a result of the research it was found that within these families a good parenting function is maintained, for which the good communication and interaction and affective bonds are highlighted; being corroborated by students with functional diversity.

Resumen
Home automation is known to systems that are capable of automating either a dwelling or a building that is too large, which implements many circuits providing energy services, safe and very reliable in what is communication, which are integrated into the interiors and exteriors of a building can be wired or wireless. The objective of the investigation is to determine how a user can prevent any emergency in which the building system fails and a situation in which it must be attended is prolonged, here are the technologists for providing good services and giving daily maintenance to prevent any emergency. That is why it is related between automation and intelligent control of housing that allows a very comfortable function as well as good energy savings and good communication between the user and the system, home automation allows to give knowledge of many devices electronic as is the sensors that collects information that is able to capture, process it and then issue an order to what are actuators or outputs, allows to respond to the requirements posed by these social changes in any house design or any building can be give a good comfort for the user that helps us in many ways in what is lighting, blinds, water etc.

Resumen
The entropy and information are related. From the review of the mathematical theory involving these concepts, the objective are to analyze and synthesize the basic elements as well as to value the concept of entropy associated to the information management and its implications in the enterprise organization. In such context, the fundamental properties on entropy are discussed from the thermodynamic point of view and out of this frame as well as the features of information, which can give rise to a redimensioning of its management, taking into account stochastic factors that can produce disorders in the system. It is concluded that such magnitude represents a methodological resource to focus the information management in the process of functioning of the enterprise as a system.

Resumen
The objective of the research was to analyze the benefits of psychoballet in people with functional diversity at the Center for artistic stimulation and integration, Martha Terán in Portoviejo, Ecuador. The research is qualitative, with a phenomenological design with an empirical approach that detailed the benefits of the psychoballet technique in people with functional diversity. Axial deductive coding of ten semi-structured interviews and five focus groups was performed; ATLAS software was used to analyze the emerging data. ti for Windows, version 8. The main results indicate that parents, caregivers, teachers, principal and students agree that dance practice brings benefits at the psychological, biological and social level. It is concluded that ballet, dance and psychoballet, positively influence the lives of people with and without any kind of functional diversity.
