Perceiving, thinking and understanding space on its different scales are fundamental activities to approach the knowledge inherent to architecture, from its dimensions: phenomenal (material products-objects), epistemic (concepts, theories and pedagogies-ideas) and ontological (social sense and modes of coexistence and reproduction-processes), respectively. Translating this to the management of architecture as an academic discipline entails an exercise in comprehensive, multiple and interdisciplinary pedagogy, where it is clearly transmitted that beyond forms and the aesthetic sense there are daily urgencies from people and their aspirations for comfort, coexistence and good living. That is why the work undertaken by an architect committed to classrooms, learning and students is praised here: Abel Hurtado and his proposals full of sensitivity, honesty and wisdom, referring to spatial stress. From a comparative, testimonial and documentary perspective, the intrinsic presence of a theoretical discourse developed in three levels or tensions is proposed: from the logics of the territory, from the architectural space to the space of coexistence and from the design process from the spatial tension.

This reflective article deals with complexity and the Rights of Nature. It seeks to answer the question: How does complexity contribute to the sustenance of the Rights of Nature? For this purpose, a specialized bibliographic search was carried out. From the research it is concluded that complex thinking and the Sciences of Complexity, by being more open to epistemological and ontological diversity, by taking into account the close interrelation, interdependence and co-dependence between human beings and Nature, by highlighting from organicism the living character of the planet in cosmic relation, offer solid arguments that support the Rights of Nature. Although the Rights of Nature imply legal protection, with the State as guarantor of rights, the issue goes beyond this because what is at stake is the recognition of the intrinsic value of life in all its manifestations, beyond even sentience. It is simply the recognition of the community of life to which we all belong, and therefore we demand conviviality, respect and reciprocity.

This research examines the concept of collapse from an institutional perspective. Collapse understood as the progressive deterioration of institutions, the welfare state and of ideologies in a context of depletion of natural resources and the environment.   The article studies this concept though three fields: environment, economics and politics, which are interrelated.

La artritis séptica es una urgencia quirúrgica. El diagnóstico oportuno y el tratamiento inmediato reducen la destrucción del cartílago articular y brindan mejores resultados. El propósito de este estudio fue determinar el curso clínico y el resultado funcional de la artritis séptica aguda tratada mediante drenaje artroscópico y desbridamiento con irrigación por succión continua. Se concluye que la descompresión artroscópica temprana y el desbridamiento de la artritis séptica con irrigación por succión continua pueden erradicar la infección. La duración de los antibióticos intravenosos y la estancia hospitalaria requerida es menor. El resultado funcional de las articulaciones es satisfactorio.

La pitiriasis versicolor (PV) es una infección fúngica superficial causada por especies de Malassezia; una levadura que coloniza naturalmente en la superficie de la piel. Generalmente se obtienen altas tasas de eficacia con tratamientos tópicos y sistémicos. Sin embargo, las tasas de recurrencia después de un tratamiento exitoso siguen siendo altas y no existen pautas de dosificación disponibles para la administración de agentes antimicóticos sistémicos que conllevan riesgos de eventos adversos. Este artículo de revisión se centró en brindar una descripción general de los tratamientos existentes para la PV y una introducción a los nuevos tratamientos. Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica utilizando la estrategia de búsqueda pitiriasis versicolor OR tinea versicolor. Durante la última década, se han introducido pocos tratamientos nuevos, pero se han revisado sistemáticamente la eficacia y los regímenes de dosificación de los tratamientos existentes. Se discuten los resultados de estas revisiones. Los agentes tópicos y sistémicos existentes son tratamientos efectivos contra la PV. Sin embargo, la ausencia de prácticas estandarizadas de recopilación y notificación en los ensayos clínicos impide sacar conclusiones con respecto a la eficacia y seguridad de los agentes tópicos y sistémicos en comparación o en combinación entre sí.

Las neuropatías inmunomediadas son poco frecuentes, pero es importante diagnosticarlas porque son potencialmente tratables. Este capítulo resume el enfoque clínico para el diagnóstico del síndrome de Guillain Barré (GBS), la polirradiculoneuropatía desmielinizante inflamatoria crónica (CIDP) y las neuropatías relacionadas que se cree que son causadas por un ataque autoinmune directo a los nervios periféricos. El objetivo de este estudio es actualizar los referentes teóricos del síndrome de Guillan-Barré, epidemiologia, patógenos y factores de riesgo; mediante una búsqueda sistemática de investigaciones recientes en bases de datos de Elsevier, Pubmed y Scopus de artículos publicados entre el 2011 al 2022.

The aim of this study is to identify epistemological trends in translation research published in the Renati repository of Sunedu 2013 to2020. For this purpose, substantive research at a descriptive level was carried out. Documentary analysis techniques and corpus linguistics were used to identify ontological and methodological trends in 339 translation research abstracts from four Peruvian universities: Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazon, Universidad Ricardo Palma, Universidad Cesar Vallejo and Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. The findings suggest that there is a preference for product-oriented research in translation, qualitative approach, and descriptive level. As for data collection instruments, results are varied, the most used being analysis sheets, surveys, and interviews

El artículo remite a diferentes corrientes de pensamiento y distintos autores sobre el problema del conflicto social. Se consideran teorías conflictivistas y teorías consensualistas, el enfoque funcionalista que relaciona la radicalización de los movimientos sociales con la incapacidad de las instituciones para integrar la protesta dentro de sus esquemas, y perspectivas centradas en el conflicto entendido como lucha por el poder. Se reconoce que a lo largo de la historia los actores sociales han mantenido en sus desplazamientos múltiples relaciones de complementariedad y antagonismo y que la forma que alcanza el conflicto al producir la movilización constituye la identidad de estos actores, y se destaca la importancia de la interpretación que los propios sujetos hacen sobre el conflicto. Se analizan conflictos que tienen lugar en las sociedades latinoamericanas y la necesidad de observar los sistemas políticos y las capacidades de los Estados para gestionar estos conflictos, y las tensiones que en Argentina dividen el mundo de las palabras, la ciudadanía y la participación del mundo de la precariedad y la represión y hacen de la discriminación la modalidad más extendida de violencia social. Concluye enfatizando la importancia de promover transformaciones constructivistas del conflicto para consolidar la democracia en nuestra región

In recent years we have observed an increasing number of publications, but also the appearance of predatory journals in which the quality of the research papers is not as expected. The boom in publication and scientific productivity is positive insofar as it shows the interest of institutions in doing research. Therefore, the objective of this article is to search for a formative research methodology that will help junior researchers to enter the world of scientific research in translation, to base their studies on solid theoretical approaches and to employ appropriate methodologies. We consider that the exploratory systematic review fulfills this purpose and presents itself as a valid and effective research alternative to train researchers in the field of descriptive translation studies and Translatology.  We conclude that the systemic review fulfills several functions, among which are to familiarize the student with translation research at different levels of the curriculum, to systematize a corpus of national and international research works, to be an input for applied studies and for the establishment of existing and unexplored lines of research, among others.

This study is part of a larger investigation. The relationship that some intellectuals of Romantic generation had with the political power of Colonel Mariano Ignacio Prado, a military leader who governed Peru between 1865 and 1868, will be shown in this article. Compromise, loyalty, discrepancy, and opposition were the political attitudes most adopted by the members of the enlightened elite, which emerged in the mid-19th century. The following pages will describe these approaches.
