This paper identifies through social mapping a specific problem observed and intervened through participatory action research related to the learning processes in reading and writing of children in second grade of an educational institution. The main objective was to understand the academic strategies and tools used by families during the COVID 19 pandemic and to document the intervention methods to address the problems found in the territory under study. A bibliographic review was conducted in indexed databases, in order to document the theories, categories and variables that make up the subject under study, in order to implement participatory action research within social mapping and ways to implement in the classroom the educational methods explored.   Within the results, the lack of knowledge on the part of the guardians and parents in teaching-learning strategies from home through a technological medium is evidenced. As a main conclusion, the process of identification and analysis of results allows the development of more viable and didactic pedagogical strategies to be used in the classroom and by parents at home in order to strengthen students' reading and writing skills.

In certain occasions we wonder why students fail to solve certain types of logic problems and not in others, one of the causes of this fact is due to the lack of knowledge of some learning technique or because they have poor logical reasoning, which is reflected in the low academic performance of students. The population considered is the Information Technology Career of the Peninsula Santa Elena State University and as a sample two parallels are taken from the population that are linked to this study. The investigated topic is of vital importance in subjects where analysis and logical reasoning of problems are required, in addition, it directly influences the practice of basic thought processes.

Coping with the mortality caused by covid-19 has highlighted the elderly population, as this public manifests the most serious changes and repercussions of the respiratory infection process. Therefore, families decided to be closer to their elderly and often ended up becoming their only caregivers, promoting continuity of care in the home environment. Therefore, this work aims to analyze what has been published about transitional care after the period of hospitalization offered by the family caregiver of the elderly during the period of the covid-19 pandemic. The present study is a Systematic Literature Review (SIR). To structure this search, the PICo strategy, EndNote software and Prisma were used. Data collection took place between July and December 2022. The Virtual Health Library (VHL) and PubMed databases were used. The following descriptors, combined with the rounding AND operator, were used: “elderly AND family AND covid-19” and “elderly AND covid-19 AND transitional care”. Inclusion criteria were articles made available free of charge, complete, in Portuguese and English, within a three-year time frame. Five articles were found that addressed the research topic. By categorizing the main findings, the texts address the following points of discussion: overload of family caregivers in the period of the covid-19 pandemic, transitional care as a strategy for continuity of care. The data obtained revealed important contexts to highlight the burden of the family caregiver and the lack of implementation of a care transition strategy for the elderly who were hospitalized due to covid-19. Therefore, it is necessary to transfer knowledge and advances in health and nursing practices, since these are the professionals responsible for training and educating these family members.

With the outbreak of the pandemic state in March 2020, inequalities in health systems around the world were also highlighted, including in Brazil, and in this context health professionals are included, who have played a vital role in fighting the new coronavirus. In this way, the Covid-19 pandemic has caused health professionals to face several challenges, both from a physical and mental point of view. The objective of this work is to describe, from the literature, what has been published about the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of life and job satisfaction of health professionals in Brazil. This is an integrative literature review, data collection took place in February and March 2023, through the Virtual Health Library (VHL) Database, in the time frame between the years 2020 to 2022, totaling the corpus of 8 publications. The articles found answered the research question and favored knowledge regarding the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of life, job satisfaction and human needs of health professionals. The main results were about factors associated with wear and physical and mental exhaustion, low level of professional achievement; some sociodemographic factors; working conditions and the effects of acting on the front lines of Covid-19 on the health of these professionals. The Covid-19 pandemic had a very strong negative impact on the quality of life and job satisfaction of health professionals in Brazil. Thus, it is extremely important to support the work of these workers, making it necessary to establish public policies focused on health professionals, since they are primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of services offered to the population.

Introduction: Currently, cervical cancer occupies the third position of most incident cancers in the Brazilian female population and fourth in mortality rate. This neoplasm occurs due to persistent infection of the Human PapillomaVirus (HPV) and is characterized by disordered replication of the uterine epithelium, compromising its tissues. The main screening method used is the cytopathological examination of the uterine cervix, popularly known as Papanicolaou, but the discomfort experienced during the collection is a frequent reason for women not to perform it. In this way, the use of lubrication is shown to be a possible, albeit controversial, method to reduce discomfort during the performance of the speculum examination. Objective: To analyze the knowledge produced and published in national and international journals, in the form of scientific articles, regarding the influence of the use of intimate lubricants during the collection of uterine cytopathology. Method: integrative literature review, carried out in March 2022, in the Scorpus, SciELO, Lilacs, Pubmed, BDENF, Web of Science and CINAHL databases. Articles related to the research object were used as inclusion criteria, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, originating from national and international journals, indexed in the referred databases and published in the period from 2012 to 2022. Results: After applying the search strategy, the result was a total of 43,535 articles, which after analysis resulted in 09 articles included in the present study. Final Considerations: The analyzed studies did not show a decrease in the quality of uterine cytopathology samples when using intimate lubricant in small amounts. In addition, its use proved to be a strong ally in reducing discomfort during speculum examination and in greater adherence to tracking collection.

Having a family member hospitalized in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is an event with the potential to be traumatic for children, who may have difficulties understanding what is happening and dealing with the resulting feelings and concerns. The visitation of children to adult ICUs is a complex issue, with concerns about how the visit may affect their physical and emotional well-being and whether health professionals are prepared to deal with the situation. The objective of this systematic review is to present the literature of the last 10 years on the subject, highlighting the perceptions of those involved and the challenges encountered. Searches were carried out in the Scopus, SciELO, PubMED, LILACS and MEDLINE databases for original articles written in Portuguese or English and published between 2012 and 2022. After the screening process, 10 studies that met the eligibility criteria were identified. From them, a table was built with the summary of the main data of each article and a Thematic Analysis was carried out for the integration and interpretation of the information. The main results indicate that health professionals restrict children's visits to adult ICUs basing their arguments on personal beliefs and not on scientific evidence. Relatives of patients admitted to the ICU reported damage to the mental health of children when they were impeded from meeting the sick relative. A preparatory book for the visits was well evaluated by family members and professionals. As for the perception of the children themselves, it was identified that despite possible tension and fear touched on by the visits, they also bring positive feelings and relief from suffering. This study highlights the beneficial potential of children's visits to adult ICUs, the need to develop more resources and provide children with adequate preparations and follow-ups.

Introduction: leprosy is an infectious and contagious disease whose etiological agent is Mycobacterium leprae, a weakly Gram-positive resistant acid-alcohol bacillus, which has affinities for Schwann cells, affects the peripheral nerves and has as its main clinical characteristic the dermato-neurological involvement, which cause skin lesions with alteration and/or loss of sensitivity in the areas affected by the bacillus. Objective: To analyze the knowledge and experience of nurses in general public hospitals in a Brazilian capital about leprosy. Method: This is a cross-sectional analytical study, with a quantitative approach, the sample consisted of nurses who work in two public general hospitals in a Brazilian capital. Results: Most nurses do not consider themselves able to care for a patient with leprosy (53.1%). Conclusions: There is basic knowledge about the etiopathogenesis of the disease, however, it needs to be improved, since there are still unknown characteristics for most nurses. Nurses who participated in the survey need an update on leprosy in order to improve the care provided.

This article theme is “Mercosur: structural problems and the classification dilemma against trading bloc models”. The following problem was investigated: “Has Mercosur reached the main objective of forming a common market?”. The following hypothesis was considered: “structural problems prevent the consolidation of the common market model proposed in the Treaty of Asunción”. The general objective was “to evidence the dilemma of classifying Mercosur among the economic bloc models”. The specific objectives were: “to present the characteristics of the economic bloc models”, “to denote the structural problems of Mercosur” and “to review the complexity of ranking Mercosur among the existing economic bloc models”. This work is important for a law operator to understand the concepts of International Law and the difficulties of the International Agreement of Asunción implementation by its signatory countries; for science, it is relevant as it studies the thematic complexity of integrating borders in an attempt to achieve a perfect economic model; it adds to society by the fact of triggering political-economic thinking in which the South American citizen lives. This is a six months qualitative theoretical research.
