The use of multimedia tools is a technological means that have had considerable success in increasing the motivation of students to learn and improve their knowledge in the acquisition of a second language, regardless of their educational stage, so the main objective of the research is to identify the relationship between listening skills and multimedia resources in young students. In addition, this study describes the following specific objectives: Analyze other research on listening skills and multimedia in the last five years; Describe the perception of teachers about the use of multimedia to increase listening skills with multimedia resources; Identify what has been learned from the use of multimedia in young learners. The methodology carried out in this paper is a bibliographic research design, which allows identifying the main characteristics of a topic using secondary resources, such as articles and books. Likewise, it can also help to understand the variety of statements made by different authors about the influence of multimedia resources on the development of listening in young people; thus, it is possible to make a contrast of ideas. Among the main conclusions, it was possible to show that very few teachers use multimedia resources because they are not sufficiently motivated to learn about them, or even consider the importance of these tools in the learning process. Their lack of knowledge about its use; they don't spend time learning about them, and the school does not have the required resources to train them. The city of Manta is strategically located within the province of Manabí, so the economic, social, and productive development that the city has experienced must be accompanied by good management, maintenance, and restoration of the road network. However, it has been established that 60.72% of the city's road system is in fair condition and 19.69% is in poor condition. The objective of the research is to establish a strategic plan for the conservation of the access road to San Juan in the canton of Manta based on the HDM-4 system. The methodological approach is defined as descriptive and applicative, because the research allowed defining solutions or strategies for the conservation of the road. The non-experimental method was applied through field research. The instrument used (HDM-4) made it possible to analyze the different alternatives in the management of road conservation. The procedure consisted of gathering information in situ, reviewing statistics on vehicle counts, diagnosing the condition of the road, and proposing strategies and alternatives for road maintenance. Finally, the execution of the research allowed the improvement of the road conditions at the entrance to the San Juan site, due to the adequate management of the road maintenance by means of the HDM-4 computer tool. The present work was carried out from September to October at the UEB Lácteos Nuevitas, belonging to the Camagüey Dairy Products Company, with the objective of identifying the determining factors of performance during the production of blue cheese from goat's milk and its influence in the final product obtained in the Nuevitas dairy mix.  The prediction of the cheese efficiency allows forecasting the materials, labor, equipment and estimating the profitability of the process.  In this way, the study of the cheese performance in the industry, taking into account the type of milk and the production process, can be important when it comes to calculating and making the most of production, since a small variation in said value can have unfavorable economic consequences for the company.  According to the results obtained, the determinants of performance during the production of blue cheese from goat's milk were; the composition of the milk, final humidity of the cheese and the losses of constituents of the milk through the elaboration process; that is, the recovery coefficient of each component.  Among the stages that most influenced cheese performance during processing were losses in cutting the curd and arming, or whey extraction.  The condition that most affected production performance was the use of obsolete technology. The express advances of the science, the art and the technology makes necessary to strengthen the intellectual capacity of the students and alone it is achieved in an integral way in the process of professional formation. The present work is guided to value the formation in a way of responsible performance in the production of foods with a focus of Science, technology and society (CTS). The formation in a way of performance responsible part of the premise that the responsibility is a quality of the action for which can be demanded by its behavior to the man. From their formative process the Graduate in Alimentary Sciences is called to develop a high ethics and professional commitment with the production of healthy foods, keeping in mind that the purpose of the foods is the man's feeding, which is expressed as an element of health and quality of life, with decisive incidence in the efficiency and physical aptitude and intellectual. From the same conception in a way of responsible performance, one works with a group of students from the first year in curricular and extracurricular different activities; in the qualities and abilities that it will provide them to achieve a full insert in the society and to contribute this. Developing food and nutrition education is a process that requires the participation of all of us who in one way or another influence the education of the new generations, this work obeys the need to strengthen this conception in students. The objective was to expose the experiences of the Food Toxicology subject in food and nutrition education of third-year students of the Food Sciences career at the Faculty of Applied Sciences. The sample was made up of the 34 third-year students of the degree, who participated in the seminars, videos and workshops carried out. A survey was applied in two moments, in which it was possible to verify that food and nutrition education is a subject known by the students of the career, but not in its entire dimension, an aspect that was promoted in the proposal. It is concluded that the pedagogical experience allowed to improve the integration of the knowledge of the subject with that of food and nutrition education, it was applied to situations that can be found during the professional performance as graduates in Food Sciences, which allows to expand their arguments, during technical scientific information and marketing tasks, related to their sphere of action. The training and development of research skills is a necessity to achieve a critical, reflective, innovative and transformative attitude to produce the changes and development that the current Cuban industry requires. The present research deals with the insufficiencies in the educational process of the Electrical Engineering career that limit the creative research performance of the students. The objective of the research is the determination of a curricular dynamic that constitutes the basis of a strategy that allows the development of this competence. An analysis of the theoretical and methodological foundations related to research training was developed, corroborating the existence of shortcomings in the treatment offered from the curriculum to develop competence. A pre-model was proposed for the development of investigative skills. The scientific novelty is determined by the detailed characterization of the dynamics of the formation of engineering research skills. Keywords: competencies; engineering training; research.

Introduction: The importance of a comparative study of the educational models of several countries is an academic and curricular challenge which contributes to understanding the holistic vision of the systems that constitute it, is the topic of interest of this review. Objective: To interpret the educational models of the Finland-Ecuador-Venezuela triad from comparative education supported by a bibliographic review. Methodology: an updated bibliographic review was carried out that provides relevant information for education, using the resources available in reliable databases such as Google Scholar, Dialnet, Scielo, and Redalyc. Analysis: Evidence reveals that each educational model basically responds to the cultural needs and requirements of citizens, but with profound particularities due to the political, economic and financial systems that impact their educational systems. Discussion: Although the vast majority of educational centers in the triad studied are still public, little by little private companies have entered the educational system allowing institutions to organize themselves as private companies run as a business. Conclusions: the quality of an educational system is directly proportional to the quality of teaching, better teaching results are obtained and the quality of education must be responsible. At present, digital media are used mainly for the dissemination of content on social networks and commercial activities, and an incipient use in educational processes, promoting a personalized experience, increasing the motivation and participation of students in the classroom. The objective of this paper is to propose a strategic model of learning technology and knowledge for academic performance in the classroom, which is made up of 7 stages: Identify learning objectives; select teaching-learning techniques; select the appropriate CT tools; activity design; encourage collaborative work; assess learning; and academic reinforcement. Each of these stages has the parameters that must be followed, as well as digital technological applications distributed by areas that can be used to develop curricular activities. A productive methodology with a descriptive approach was developed, a survey was applied to teachers and administrative staff on the availability and use of Learning and Knowledge Technologies (TAC). The results showed that there is partial mastery of the TAC by the teachers, in addition to the failure of the technological resources available and to be managed in the institution. It concludes with the need to implement the strategic model based on TAC tools to enhance the training process in the classroom. At the Latin American level, the needs of state organizations are satisfied through competitive procedures. Such procedures allow you to create competition and choose the most effective option among many. In national practice, the question arose as to what is the effectiveness of public procurement. These can be procedures focused on the lowest price, for example, electronic auctions. There may also be procedures focused on meeting a set of requirements for a product or service. In this sense, the objective of this research is to analyze the management of public purchases in the local and Latin American economy. For this, this research with a mixed approach collects information from primary and secondary bibliographic sources related to the management of public procurement in the Ecuadorian and Latin American economy. On the other hand, it has been resolved to propose a system of criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of public purchases at the level of a state organization. Evaluation criteria are also proposed to evaluate the effectiveness of public purchases at the level of Ecuador. Keywords: Management, Public purchases, Local economy.

The aim of the research was to conduct a systematic review of empirical studies about metacognitive strategies in the university context, and see if it is related to meaningful learning. The search for references was carried out in the databases, Google scholar, SciELO, Dialnet, Ebsco Online and Redalyc 25 empirical articles were selected based on the PRISMA guidelines (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). The synthesis of the main findings of each study is presented in different tables, reporting the existing knowledge of the study area and the evidence accumulated in the review. The quality of the studies examined was determined from the point of view of the methodology used, in terms of rigor, the size of the selected samples, the scope of the research, the meanings found with correlation tests and their contributions to the field of knowledge, especially at the level university in the countries where the research was conducted.
