Resumen
This paper aims to present a reading of the bucolic correspondence between Giovanni del Virgilio and Dante Alighieri that occurred between 1319 and 1321. Exhorting the poet to write the Divine Comedy in latin, the professor sends him a missive in dactylic hexameters, offering the possibility of poetic coronation in Bologna. Dante responds by using the same meter, but in the bucolic genre, thus resuming the tradition that went back to Virgil. With these poems, Dante declines the professor's invitation, reaffirming the choice to write the Divine Comedy in vernacular, which would lead him to be crowned in Florence, as he wished.

Resumen
It is known that the conditional does not exist in Latin, which marks otherwise the values this paradigm usually encodes. Thus, its use during the Middles Ages repre-sents a Romance innovation. Bearing this in mind, in this article we intend to compare the conditional occurrences in the Livro dos Oficios and the forms and constructions translated from the Latin work De officiis by Cicero, so as to investigate whether the values conveyed by the conditional are identical to those which the paradigm translates nowadays (such as temporal value, the expression of condition and modal values pertaining to the expression of possibility, doubt, etc.).

Resumen
Victorian Britain received Virgil’s poetry as indispensable to understand the greatness of the Ancient period, even though he was deemed inferior to poets in the Greek tradition. Late in the 19th Century, the rise of British Imperialism triggered a vindication of Virgil’s poetry. Thus, Alfred Lord Tennyson read Virgil as a poet committed to the Neo-Platonic principles of the Victorian culture. This reading must be revisited in view of the dialogue that Robert Browning establishes with Virgil’s poetry in his poem “Pan and Luna”, that supports a much more transgressive view of the Latin Poet.

Resumen
In this article, we analyze epigram 4.53 and the caricature of the false cynic it contains from a double perspective. On the one hand, the examination of the context and of the skeptic motif at the strictly literary level allows us to confirm the footprint of the Helle-nistic epigram as a source of inspiration, as well as the thorough work of rewriting carried out by the poet from Bilbilis. On the other hand, the consideration of the epigram as an ekphrastic product gives evidence of the relevance of artistic manifestations in Martial’s text, while also highlighting the reciprocal influence of art and poetry in his work.

Resumen
From the indication of unpredictable aitíai that could result in katálysis of a democracy, the sequence of this text is subdivided in three other sections: in the second, the arguments of Nicias and Alcibiades in the antilogy recreated in Th. 6.8-26 are discussed. In the third, the question of the operational limits of Athenian democracy directly affected by that antilogy is discussed. In the final part, contemporary analogous problems are pondered after a brief and punctual discussion on key steps of the narrative of the stásis in Corcira (3.69-83).

Resumen
La influencia de San Agustín en la analítica existencial de Ser y Tiempo goza de un alto reconocimiento y es siempre fuente de fecundas investigaciones. Nuestro trabajo, sin embargo, tratará de descubrir la sombra alargada del obispo de Hipona en la definición de la tarea del pensar, y por tanto en el II Heidegger, desde lo que denominaremos la salvación del momento vital-existencial de la experiencia del encuentro con el absoluto. Se investiga aquí, entonces, la posibilidad de que en las Confesiones se muestren las notas fundamentales en las que, en nuestra opinión, se funda la experiencia mística (la distancia del hombre respecto de las cosas, la relativización de los asuntos mundanos y el olvido de sí) para servir como indicadores formales de lo que sea la noción heideggeriana del pensar meditativo, del pensar que nos queda.

Resumen
La tesis central que desarrolla este artículo es que la violencia sexual es una posibilidad fundada en las condiciones —históricas— constitutivas del cuerpo femenino, esto es, que la violencia sexual en contra de las mujeres es posible por la «disponibilidad» de sus cuerpos. La disponibilidad de los cuerpos como condición de la violación sexual se instaura en tres momentos o fases principales: 1) la determinación histórico-espiritual de la identidad subjetiva femenina como fundada en la materialidad de su cuerpo —en sus especificidad o diferencia reproductiva—; 2) la configuración socialmente ambigua de la diferencia del «yo-puedo femenino» de la reproducción y la sensualidad; y 3) el abuso sexual reafirma la disponibilidad histórico-constitutiva del género de modo tal, que la violación sexúa al género como vulnerable, instituye o añade un significado envolvente de lo femenino como vulnerable. Ser un cuerpo-otro es ser, originariamente, un cuerpo disponible, violable, en esencia, sexualmente vulnerable.

Resumen
The modern philosophy of science has not succeeded in defining conclusively what the scientific method consists in. On the contrary, scientific practice seems to consist in a methodological pluralism, a definition that connects with essential fragments of John Dewey's Logic, the Theory of Inquiry. For Dewey, even the forms of logic emerge from the problems defined in indeterminate situations. A historical example was the introduction of the notion of complementarity in physics, which allowed the interpretation of two confusingly paradoxical experiments in a coherent way. Dewey's thought demonstrates its relevance by helping us to define the pattern of inquiry. Methodological pluralism and the dependence of logic on research problems is not something that will happen, it is something that has happened and does happen in scientific practices.

Resumen
El artículo analiza la relación entre potencia, utilidad y derecho en la filosofía política de Spinoza. Explica la utilidad a partir del carácter relacional de la existencia. Y sostiene que la relacionalidad múltiple, cuando es potenciada por lo útil, constituye la base ontológica de la reciprocidad positiva, esto es, del hombre como lo más útil para el hombre. Examina la mutua dependencia entre los súbditos y el complejo de imperium y multitudo como causa de la concordia y de la discordia, pues ella teje la posibilidad o la imposibilidad de una utilidad común. Y destaca el modo en que Spinoza pasa de la relación entre individuo racional y civitas a la noción de multitud como potencia que define la diferencia de lo político, aunque no sin relación con lo ético; y a la multitud libre como figura política de la utilidad común que instituye el mejor imperium.
