Objective: To value the impact of transthoracic point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) on pause time between chest compressions during CPR. Methods: Systematic literature review in PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde databases. The primary outcome of the meta-analysis was the difference in pause time between chest compressions in CPR with and without transthoracic POCUS. The secondary outcome was the return of spontaneous circulation of the manual verification and transthoracic POCUS groups. We used software R version 4.1.3 to perform all statistical analyses. Results: The search in the databases resulted in 6177 publications. However, only five met all inclusion criteria. Most of the studies were prospective cohorts. The mean age ranged from 56.5 to 66 years, and males were predominant in all studies. All showed longer pauses in the POCUS group. There was a statistical association between the use of POCUS and longer pauses between chest compressions with an MD of 3.88 (95% CI 2.76; 5.01; p-value < 0.0001). The additional exclusion of any of the five studies did not change the result, i.e., DM between the two groups continued to be statistically significant. Conclusion: The combined analysis of the data suggests that using the POCUS increases the pause time between chest compressions by an average of 3.88 seconds. However, further studies evaluating the impact on return to spontaneous circulation and mortality are necessary.

Abstract Objective: Conduct a literature review, analyzing the stages of the development process of a scientific article until its publication. Bibliographic review: The first steps in scientific writing are preparation, with the definition of the topic to be studied, the objectives to be achieved and the topics to be addressed. The structure of the articles is relatively constant and the approach to the topics has a sequence called "IMRAD", used in most articles, where: I - Introduction, M - Methods (or Methods and Materials), R - Results, A - do English (and) and D – Discussion and Conclusion. We started writing the article by the materials and methods. In the results we put the data found, but without interpreting them. In the discussion section we correlated the data with the literature. The introduction should explain the topic of the article and its importance to the scientific community. In the summary we write the main parts of the introduction, including its objectives. A brief summary of the method used and the main results of the research. Final considerations: Writing and publishing scientific articles is a challenge. But every health professional with patience and technique will succeed.

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of rehabilitation with complete dentures on nutritional status and quality of life in edentulous elderly people living in the Federal District. Fifty-five completely edentulous subjects who wore a new pair of dentures (made three years ago, on average) were evaluated and compared with 51 elderly, equally edentulous, who needed new pairs of dental prostheses. Participants were submitted to the application of the Mini Nutritional Assessment (MAN), a Socio-Demographic questionnaire and an Oral Health Impact Profile (questionnaire that analyzes the effects of oral conditions on quality of life). The analysis of the obtained data did not identify a significant difference in oral pain and discomfort or in the complaints related to mastication and the analysis through the MAN reveals no significant differences between the two groups. Malnutrition was related to psychological discomfort and social incapacity, highlighting the aggravating role of these two domains on the nutritional status of edentulous elderly people.

Infectious anemia of chickens (AIG) or Chicken Anemia Virus (CAV), is caused by a virus classified in the Circoviridae family, which is characterized by being a severe temporal aplastic anemia, which leads to immunosuppression of birds and predisposes them to secondary infections, directly affecting the poultry chain with the drop in the productive performance of the affected birds and consequent reduction of the zootechnical indexes. The present study aims to report and compare the occurrence of infectious anemia in broilers on a property located in the city of Matelândia, in the western region of the state of Paraná. The site has the installation of 3 aviaries, called A1, A2 and A3, with a total accommodation capacity of 70 thousand birds. Houses A1 and A2 housed Cobb Slow birds, coming from a matrix called M1. The A3 aviary housed Ross AP95 lineage birds, coming from a different matrix nucleus, called M2. Lots A1 and A2 started to show clinical signs at 17 days of bird life, while lot A3 started to show clinical signs at 27 days of bird life. Among the signs, apathy, gangrenous dermatitis, pallor and ruffled plumage were observed. Through clinical evidence, necropsy findings and histopathological examinations in lymphoid organs, it was possible to diagnose infectious anemia. The flocks were then treated with the intention of minimizing mortality and recovering bird development. The batches showed lower than expected zootechnical results due to the involvement. Through traceability of origin of chicks, it was possible to identify that the infection of batches A1 and A2 occurred vertically and that of A3 horizontally.

The theme of this article is the “Expropriation of rural property for the purpose of carrying out agrarian reform”. The problem was investigated: “Does the Judiciary use mechanisms to benefit some political groups to the detriment of others in relation to expropriation for agrarian reform?”. The following hypothesis was considered: “The Judiciary, interferes in this type of expropriation”. The general objective is “to demonstrate how the Judiciary influences the judgments on the subject”. The specific objectives are: "to present primordial concepts about expropriation" and "how the Judiciary Power interferes in the expropriation decisions in the first instance until the Federal Court of Justice". This work is important for a legal practitioner because it addresses legal principles and concepts; for science, it is important because it is a controversial subject, which often needs academic work; adds to society because the theme reduces social inequalities. This is a theoretical qualitative research lasting three months.

This review aims to identify the main findings available in the literature on protein- calorie infusion in critically ill adult patients with COVID-19. This is an integrative review study, with the inclusion of 4 original articles selected from the PubMed and Scielo databases. As a result, it was observed that early nutritional support can be an efficient alternative, in which adequate nutritional management is essential for patients infected with COVID-1. Adequate support to nutritional therapy can be favorable to the recovery and survival of these patients, but more studies are needed to confirm this statement.

The main types of eating disorders and eating disorders (ED) are psychosomatic disorders and eating disorders (AN) and eating disorders (ED). All problems combined are associated with eating symptoms and the course of the disease, especially in the more complex stages. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders edition 5 (DSM – 5), prepared by the American Psychiatric Association, defines mental disorders, which includes EDs and diagnostic criteria. Eating behavior can affect emotions, since food choices are as important as meals, not only dependent on physiology, but also cultural, but also cultural, social and symbolic. The treatment performed by a multidisciplinary team is fundamental and indispensable for the development of a quality treatment in this type of disease.
