Resumen
The ‘new strategic territorial planning’, reappeared in Europe at the end of the 20th century, intrinsically incorporates the need for evaluation of land use plans. This evaluation cannot focus solely on evaluating the impact of the plans but must also be carried out with a focus on the technical processes in which material goods are produced and knowledge generation. The present work intends to provide the methodological framework to be able to develop an evaluation instrument for planning processes and management of land use plans.
Using an analysis matrix, different evaluation approaches are compared in order to select the most convenient category for the evaluation of territorial planning processes. Thereby, the most interesting approaches are selected, and are subsequently characterized by identifying the most representative authors, the methods applied, the phases that compose them, the criteria used to evaluate the processes, their strengths and weaknesses, and the evaluation questions.
Results reflect that the process evaluation approaches that belong to the eclectic approaches category seem to be the most interesting for territorial planning, since by their nature they combine the advantages of the approaches they use, and adapt methodologies and philosophies to the needs of each specific evaluation, optimizing the evaluation results and actively involving the main stakeholders.

The number of people working in a country other than the country of residence is increasing dramatically in Europe, and is doing so more sharply in Eastern countries, which currently provide nearly half of cross-border workers. This article examines the recent trends in this collective’s geographic mobility and the factors that drive it. The text is based on the work of researchers from different countries and on the statistical information provided by Eurostat and the European Commission. The increase in flows is related, among other factors, to the enlargement of the European Union, full freedom of movement and socioeconomic differences between countries of origin and destination. Most of the trips cover short distances and are markedly asymmetrical. In intra-European mobility, post-communist countries provide labour to western countries. Germany and Austria are the most important destinations due, among other reasons, to the geographical position close to the countries of origin.

Resumen
The objective of this article is to present unpublished documentation of Ascensi Duart and the map Huerta, y Contribución Particular de la Ciudad de Valencia (1695) by the jesuit Francisco Antonio Cassaus. The research carried out in the Arxiu Històric Municipal de València and in the Arxiu del Regne de València allows us to understand the process of printing the map of Cassaus and Ascensi Duart, a figure that, until now, had not been studied by the historiography in depth and that, in part, is a great unknown. This text provides information about Duart that helps to know him better and that opens up new and interesting future ways for research.

Dry riverbeds are river courses of spasmodic flow typical of arid and semi–arid environments. In the Spanish south–eastern basin, their influence on the internal configuration and articulation of the territory is determinant. The fact that water only runs through them sporadically and violently has historically placed them in a very unique position in the activities of the populations that inhabit this territory, as well as providing them with exclusive environmental and ecological characteristics. The aim of the present work is to recognize, from a holistic point of view, the social role that dry riverbeds have in the livelihood of the human communities that inhabit the Spanish Southeast, systematically categorizing and analysing the use and abuse of this part of the territory in the current times: as public space and a space of coexistence, means of communication, primary productive space, landfill, space of fear, heritage site and green infrastructure; in short, as mesological hybrid or medianza. This will allow to delimit and deepen the scientific knowledge of a concept that requires holistic approaches, offering tools for a better management of such delicate and vital spaces in the current context of global change.

Resumen
In recent years, the problem of rural depopulation has become topical. This has led many towns to its effective disappearance. Among those that still survive, some suffer a progressive reduction of public services and endowments like the bus transport, that plays an important role. This ends up forcing many residents to migrate to more populated areas to have access to basic services. This work aims to document and confirm the gradual disappearance and / or decrease of the bus service in the interior of the province of Castellón and show the existing alternatives to revert or mitigate this exodus from sustainable proposals to ensure a fair quality of life in all territories. For this analysis, a reconstruction of the demographic evolution and the offer of existing bus services in the province has been carried out, from various statistical sources from the National Statistical Institute and the regional council, while the proposals are inspired or supported by the existing bibliography on transportation in rural areas. The results confirm the decrease in the transport service in parallel to the depopulation in many areas, without any of the existing measures having been applied to guarantee its efficiency and sustainability.

This article aims to analyze the growth and socio-spatial configuration of two oil cities in Latin America, Barrancabermeja (Colombia) and Comodoro Rivadavia (Argentina), between 1907 and 1938. Using comparison as a methodological tool, we seek to analyze the similarities and differences of urban processes that arouse from the establishment of industry in sparsely inhabited territories. We highlight the appearance of two very well differentiated urban centers, on the one hand, the company town, which concentrates the industrial and residential activity of the workers. On the other, a town that acquires complementary commercial functions to those who took a single productive role.

Resumen
Through the revision -fundamentally- of two important conservative newspapers, El Diario Ilustrado and La Unión de Valparaíso, the aim is to demonstrate how the deep political, economic and social crisis that Chile experienced during the years 1931 and 1932 generated important tensions inside the Conservative Party. Within it, a partisan sector of Ibáñez and authoritarian presidentialism confront those comrades who remained faithful to the liberal-parliamentary ideology. The conflict occurs in an environment marked by fear of the revolution and the distrust generated by a democratic regime, founded in universal suffrage.
