During pregnancy, a woman goes through several physical and emotional modifications, changes occur in almost all systems, including the musculoskeletal system. By practicing the Pilates Method, pregnant women receive as benefits the improvement of pain in the lumbar and pelvic regions, since the practice provides joint, muscular, and ligament stability. This report had as its general objective to present the creation of a group to promote the practice of the Pilates Method for pregnant women by a nursing and physical therapy professional, and as specific objectives to describe the observations of the group experience held with pregnant women and show the benefits of the Pilates Method. This is a descriptive and qualitative study of the type experience report developed by a nurse and a physiotherapist, residents at the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Primary Care, of the School of Government from Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ), with the setting of a Primary Care Unit in the administrative region of Recanto das Emas in Brasília, Federal District. All the pregnant women assisted and chosen for the group had common complaints. After the group was over, the pregnant women were reevaluated individually in their respective prenatal appointments, and this reevaluation was based only on the verbal reports they brought, such as: reduction of lower back pain and pelvic pain, postural improvements, besides affirming greater flexibility and lightness, benefits already identified by other authors who used the Pilates Method as group therapy. The Pilates Method proved to be an efficient alternative for the reduction of complaints presented by pregnant women, and also an important tool to improve their quality of life. The interprofessional work is extremely important within the Primary Health Care (PHC), and for it to occur in practice it is common to create bonds between the professionals involved, so that there is a greater resolution of health problems and demands. Therefore, it was possible to bring a method that is primarily inaccessible to the economically disadvantaged population, inserting the method in a public setting belonging to the Unified Health System (SUS) enabling to be democratized even if for a short period of time.

Introduction: This study aims to present a discussion about the challenges that nursing faces regarding the impact that suicide causes after the effects of bullying. Many are the adolescents who feel coerced, persecuted through the practice of bullying and, in their understanding, death can be the solution. General objective: to reflect on the challenges for nursing in the face of the extreme impact that suicide causes after the harmful effects of bullying. Method: For the development of this study, a bibliographical research will be carried out, having as source articles and monographs already published in electronic sites. Results: Bullying is one of the criminal practices that have led many teenagers to commit suicide. Thinking about it, Nursing is ahead of intense challenges regarding the restoration of self-esteem and social self-esteem of the bullied individual, especially among adolescents. Humanized reception is one of the challenges for Nursing, considering that reestablishing the link between individuals seems to be a complex action, since disappointment and discredit 'kills' trust. Discussion: Bullying causes depression and even suicide, therefore, support is needed from Nursing professionals who are aware and provide this public with knowledge and a good welcome. Conclusion: Adolescence is a complex phase that requires attention from professionals in all areas, such as Nursing. Suicide is a public health problem, therefore, Nursing must play its role and transmit information that is capable of preparing the adolescent to go through this peaceful phase, despite the existing conflicts.

Corneal diseases represent about 4% to 5% of the causes of reversible blindness in the world. Such diseases have several etiologies, which include chronic, degenerative, inflammatory, infectious, dystrophies and traumas. Corneal transplantation is a very important treatment for several types of severe corneal diseases, being considered one of the most important surgeries in ophthalmology as it is part of the individual's visual recovery. Objective: To present the performance of corneal transplantation in the state of Alagoas. Methods: Epidemiological, cross-sectional and retrospective study carried out using public data, obtained from ABTO (Brazilian Association of Organ Transplantation), through protocols based on registration forms, carried out from 2018 to 2022.Results: Regarding the frequency, 54% were male, while 46% were female, ranging from 50 to 64 years. The main indications for corneal transplantation were leucoma of any etiology (146.6%), bullous keratopathy (80%), keratoconus (63.9%). Conclusion: The results obtained revealed important information about the indications for transplantation, the number of surgeries performed, the demographic characteristics of the patients. It was identified that leucoma of any etiology was the main indication for corneal transplantation, followed by bullous kerotopathy and keratoconus. This information highlights the importance of early diagnosis and adequate treatment of these diseases in order to avoid the need for corneal transplantation.

Diabetic foot lesions are a problem that needs increasing and constant attention due to its severity and the high number of diabetics who develop such complication as a result of poor health education. The lack of foot surveillance in diabetics is an existing problem that limits the identification of risk factors, prevention and timely intervention. To solve this problem, it is necessary for nurses to master and exercise surveillance and injury risk assessment procedures. The aim of this study is to analyze the literature already published on Diabetes Mellitus and the Diabetic Foot, focusing on the practices of care and prevention of the diabetic foot. This work is a bibliographic study of the integrative review type, carried out in the main scientific databases present in the Virtual Health Library, BDENF, Lilacs and Medline. The guiding question was: What are the nursing care skills of nurses facing a patient with diabetic foot? The synthesis of the collected evidence points out that the nurse's performance in Primary Health Care is an important strategy to prevent complications among those who live with diabetes. The studies reveal potentiality regarding the educational practice of this professional for the prevention of the diabetic foot. Thus, we can conclude that nurses are indispensable tools in the process of health education and can contribute to the prevention of the diabetic foot. Therefore, this work aims to contribute to the knowledge of diabetics and nursing professionals.

Cow's milk is a food highly susceptible to bacterial contamination due to its composition rich in nutrients of high nutritional value. Thus, it is important that this food is obtained and processed with adequate hygiene, and undergo appropriate heat treatment. Among the most common bacteria that can compromise the quality of milk are those of the Enterobacteriaceae family, which can reduce its shelf life and cause several foodborne diseases such as salmonellosis, yersiniosis, and E. coli toxinfection. In this study, the objective was to analyze the microbiological quality of pasteurized milk commercialized in a city in western Paraná, through the count of Enterobacteraceae. Six milk samples from two different brands and from discrepant lots were analyzed. The results obtained were above the standard established by the legislation. This fact may indicate that there were problems in the post-pasteurization procedures, treatment temperature, inadequate transport or storage, or even an exaggerated amount of bacteria in the raw milk prior to pasteurization. Therefore, this work shows the need for veterinary inspection of post-pasteurization procedures to decrease risks related to loss of shelf life of the product and risks related to public health.

Brucellosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria of the genus Brucella. Brucella abortus is responsible for affecting cattle and can be considered one of the main zoonoses present in Brazilian livestock, in addition to causing negative health impacts to producers. The implementation of measures to control and eradicate the disease must be stopped, in order to reduce positive cases, and consequently the health effect of animals. As it is a zoonosis, production animals must be tested frequently, in order to guarantee the safety of products originating from them, which are intended for human consumption. The present study aims to describe a practical conduct carried out with the animals and the property, after the identification of cases of positive bovines for brucellosis, according to the National Plan for the Control and Eradication of Brucellosis and Tuberculosis (PNCEBT).
