Resumen
The article is inserted in a discussion about the way in which sociology problematizes culture, specifically, the paper analyses the modus operandi for a critical approach to the culture. For this, it focuses on the Luc Boltanski’s proposal, because he makes the discussion on the “critical sociology” a central instance of his cultural study without abandoning the critical claim. With the goal of analysing these questions, the first section is dedicated to characterizing Boltanski's pragmatic sociology of critique. The second section argues that he proposes a powerful modus operandi for the sociological description of the actors’ normativity, but that it does not solve the problems that would allow the critical research of that normativity. Topic that is developed through the discussion of his research on the “spirit of capitalism”. Finally, the conclusions propose a path through which to advance towards this critical sociology, centred on the notions of ideology and utopia.

Resumen
This article addresses a neglected problem in Searle’s social ontology, namely, how human civilization may collapse. In the first section, I provide the theoretical framework. In the second section, I offer the key elements to understanding Searle’s ontology as well as his philosophy of society, emphasizing the role of constitutive rules and deontic powers. In the third section I examine how they improve trust and co-operation. Global and local natural disasters are distinguished in the fourth section, because the former is sufficient to undermine pacts, promises, constitutive rules and deontic powers, while the latter is neither sufficient nor necessary. In the fifth and final section, I put forward an argument via a thought experiment that allows us to anticipate what would occur if people did not keep promises and pacts, on the one hand, and did not respect constitutive rules and deontic powers, on the other hand. Such events, I argue, would result in the collapse of civilization.

This paper aimed to map the current state of the structures of political science production and circulation in Argentina. This type of analysis is part of a series of studies that have analyzed the forms that peripheral science has adopted, its styles of production and publication circuits. We sought to answer a simple question that has complex answers: where does Argentina's political science publish and what characteristics do its researchers present - considering trajectories, strategies, and profiles - at CONICET? To this end, we analyzed the trajectories of 148 CONICET researchers in order to understand their publication practices and positioning in the Argentinean scientific field. At the same time, we examined the publication space of political science journals, their circuits and circulation orientations. Political Science in Argentina has a dynamic and consolidated structure. The historical trend that guided the trajectories of agents towards international spaces is contrasted with a recent trend of graduating from national universities and entering a scientific career at CONICET. Beyond the scientific policies of decentralization of science and technology activities, the concentration of research capacities in metropolitan areas is almost absolute. In the case of political science, the UBA-UNSAM-UNR node centralizes the largest number of researchers and, therefore, of political science production in the country.

Resumen
This article exposes the role of interdisciplinarity in political science in Colombia, addressing the undergraduate degree in political science at the University of Antioquia as an illustrative reference on the subject. Firstly, the history of the discipline in Colombia is developed, deepening the discussions around hybridization and interdisciplinarity. It is concluded that the former is problematic in terms of autonomy and disciplinary identity, while the latter enables an opening to dialogue with the other social sciences and delimits disciplinary boundaries that allow for clarity about their field of specialization. On the other hand, the strengths and challenges of the consolidation of the discipline at the University of Antioquia are identified. The need to open and maintain disciplinary discussion spaces is emphasized, where minimum procedures can be defined for this interdisciplinary dialogue.

Resumen
This paper studied the development of the field of State, administration, and public policy in Latin America from the processes of autonomization, institutionalization, professionalization and disciplinary specialization. The actors (individuals), institutions (teaching and research centers), the production of the area, and the constitution of thematic academic networks were analyzed. To do this we conducted interviews and collected data from journals, undergraduate and graduate courses in official databases, and pages of professional associations. We built a general panorama of this process in the region, and then pointed out the progress in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico based on these dimensions. Finally we made a general balance of the sub-area in Latin America, discussing the notion rooted in the literature on the relative backwardness of the field.

ReseñaTítulo: The Politics of Political Science: Re-Writing Latin American ExperiencesAutor: Paulo RaveccaAño de publicación: 2019Edición: PrimeraPáginas: 292ISBN: 978 0815363088Editorial: Routledge

This article of reflection problematizes the relationships between phenomenology and hermeneutics as epistemic places of research work through a documentary approach built in two phases. First, the text reflects on the terminological use present in the paradigms, approaches, epistemological perspectives, and research methods, thereby identifying that there is no criteria univocity in its references and approaches about research methodology treaties. Likewise, it is evident that there are methodological proposals that include phenomenology and hermeneutics in a complementary, articulated, or isolated way without allowing precise places of understanding that allow to locate their application in research. Based on the aforementioned, the second phase proposes an individual approach to the background and comprehensions of phenomenology and hermeneutics, identifying particularities that characterize them, possible theoretical-practical differences and approaches that can be established in view of their relevance from the epistemic and methodological framework of research in human and social sciences.
