A theoretical development is presented of the access to audiovisual content for both journalists and viewers through the Web. This access is possible through virtual platforms using an ontological tool that displays the content through Augmented Reality in such a way that the relationships between and accesses to different ontological levels are carried out using visual elements, determining their value prior to download. Ontological relationships are established between traditional elements indexed in the audiovisual departments of television channels: persons, topics, and places, as well as other elements deriving from them. A brief description is given of the ontologies and their relationship with what is audiovisual, as well as experiences on television with Augmented Reality. The originality of the paper lies in the absence of previously proposed or developed experiences by any of the mass media

Resumen
Sound and audiovisual heritage usually follow separate tracks, as shown by their theoretical guidelines, practical plans, research projects and specialization courses in document safeguarding. In the case of sound archives, a further division between ‘musical’ and ‘oral’ archives adds up to the difficulty of studying Spanish sound archives as a whole. This is made worse by a scarcity of relevant information sources: those available are valuable but focus on locating and identifying centers, hardly describing collections and their management. A more thorough study has therefore been necessary, taking projects devised for other geographical areas as a reference for a new inquiry addressed to Spanish memory institutions. These were asked for an assessment of current sound recordings management, in four stages of safeguarding: surveys and global studies; individual analysis; analogue and digital preservation; and possibilities for accessing recordings and disseminating them. The answering institutions pointed to important management shortcomings in almost all stages and in many parts of Spain. Solutions may be known but must not be delayed any more, for sound recordings to escape a high risk of damage and disappearance

Resumen
This chapter relates the diffusion of scientific knowledge, materialized in its writing, publication, and circulation, with the Open Science. Open Science is, by its nature, a platform for dialogue, fostering more exchanges and stimulating researchers to adapt their publishing and dissemination practices, leading to cost reduction and enhancement of academic content and fostering greater circulation and knowledge generation. The purpose is the accomplishment of proposals regarding the actions that researchers must take in the scope of scholarship as conversation, namely, embedding academic writing in Open Science and sharing research data and results. Finally, we reflect on current Open Science challenges to researchers and academia
