This study was based on a mixed approach, the incidence of pathogenic bacteria in the shrimp extracted from Bluefields Lagoon and consumed by the population was evaluated, which shows the possible risks to their health. Direct shrimp catches were made at three sampling points (Half Way Cay, Banco Rojo and Santa María). Later they were analyzed in the Aquatic Rresearch Center of BICU, the bacteria were isolated and purified in specific agar for Escherichia coli, Salmonella sp, Clostridium perfringens and Enterococcus faecalis bacteria. From samples obtained, the one that presented the greatest contamination was Santa María, with the presence of Escherichia coli, Clostridium perfringens and Enterococcus faecalis, in Half Way Cay E.coli was present; however, it was within the acceptable values of a food that does not cause any risk for consumers, since it presented 49 CFU / g. The Banco Rojo sample presented E.coli in acceptable values, but had the presence of Salmonella sp, which indicates that it is a risk for consumers. It can be said that the shrimp presented different levels of contamination for which it is recommended to refrigerate the product at minus 4º C temperatures and prepare them so that they are well cooked, avoid that children and older adults consume the pre-cooked or raw shrimp, since they are the most vulnerable people to the toxins of these bacteria. All this information must be passed on to community and regional decision-makers for a timely intervention.

Macroinvertebrates are organisms that due to their intolerance to disturbances in the environment can determine the health of aquatic ecosystems through their diversity and distribution of families in their habitats. In this study, the current conditions of water quality in Chacalín, Limonero and Moga watersheds of the Rama-Creole Indigenous Territory were analyzed by means of the presence and distribution of macroinvertebrates as bio-indicators of these, since it is currently unknown which are the conditions of its main tributaries within the territory; With the use of the Ecosystem Evaluation and Monitoring Program protocol of the US EPA, 11 transects were established for each site, the sample of which was: 1-3, 5-7, 9-11. In this quantitative research with a descriptive and cross section approach, the collection was made with a hand net in each habitat of the established points; Later they were analyzed at BICU Aquatic Research Center Laboratory, using the taxonomic guides for the classification and identification of organisms, with these data the IBMWP was determined. The results show that the Chacalín and Moga watersheds have a regular water quality with little altered contamination, while the Limonero watershed, through the index, it was determined that the ecological health of the water is contaminated. This suggests that the conditions of these sites have been little affected and that there are optimal conditions for the establishment of macroinvertebrate families

For those who think that Eurocentrism was a "fashionable" problem that has already been overcome, this essay shows that it was not and that it is a thorny issue that is still open. In this sense, the dissections that make up these pages aim to reconstruct the debate between two of the most important thinkers of this time. The methodology is hermeneutical from the critical perspective of this essay, which not only draws on carefully reading the arguments and counter-arguments, but also on having questioned both positions from different movements of problematization. The resonances and deepening of these crosses can be observed, as well as the breakdown of their theoretical gestures. In the monologue of Eurocentrism, the persistence in the universalization of the European legacy proposed as a “unique” path to re-politicization, liberation or the solution of contemporary dilemmas can be noted, which has favorably allowed coloniality and strategies of re-westernization. On the other hand, the teaching of the colonial difference allows disbelief in the unique or universal paths that promise "paradise" at the cost of sacrificing the intercultural legacies of the rest of the non-European world. From this movement, a decolonial praxis of thinking is postulated that strives for the coexistence of situated universals, not abstract and devoid of any disciplinary tyranny. Finally, the question about the struggle for coexistence with a legacy that denies or interrupts others remains, while at the same time seeking to delineate forms of educational decolonization that recover and reconstitute collective memories

This article was the result of understanding the dimensions that shape the fabric of the school experiences of young people in Argentina who recognize themselves in the Tastil indigenous people and attend a rural secondary school. It inquiries into the network of relationships and tensions between cultural capital (indigenous community and family) and school capital that underlies the social unit represented by a school configuration and that makes sense in the broader social and historical fabric. The focus of the research was from a qualitative design (Vasilachis de Gialdino, 2007). An exploratory case study was chosen. The data collection instruments were semi-structured questionnaires, in-depth interviews and participant observations. The empirical material obtained shows that the ways of speaking, communicating, conceiving and occupying the social space that students bring with them, keep significant distances with the cultural capital that the school imparts and legitimizes. More than a dialogue of epistemologies, there is a tension and confrontation that reveals the inequalities of power between indigenous groups and the school institution. Inequalities that are expressed through processes of minimization and discrimination that devalue student subjectivities

Eating food for indigenous communities is not just putting something in your mouth; It is a sacred act because it involves contact with the earth, the wind, the sun, and nature. It is honest work, wisdom and communitarianism. Hence, it is important to rescue the knowledge of our ancestors, to learn from that integral vision of indigenous communities, where food is communion with Mother Earth. The objective of the research was to collect information about sacred foods for their revaluation and rescue. The methodology was qualitative with an anthropological-cultural approach, an interview was applied to the "elders" of Salasaca indigenous community. The sacred foods indicated by the elders are mainly corn, potatoes, quinoa, goose, mashua, sambo, among others. Sacred plants and trees such as Yahual, quishuar, capulí, la chilca. An important drink in the Salasaca community is the tzawar mishki obtained from the cabuya, present in the traditional festivals of the community as well as foods considered sacred, mainly corn, quinoa, potatoes, and beans. Currently, consumer thinking endangers the knowledge, traditions and customs of the community. Keeping those precepts of the Andean worldview should become the guiding principle of our lives

The declaration of Valparaíso City as a World Heritage Site carries not only an honor for its geographical and urban qualities, it is also a conceptual value translated into a series of policies that influence the organization of life ways of those who make up this territory. Through this exercise, the city breaks with its social activity, to be determined by external devices, such as public policies emanating from a central power or as pressures from an economy that transforms and shapes the space according to the orders of the market, in view of turning it into a commercial product. This article presents the clash that occurs with heritage practices that seek to reduce forms of life to an abstract conceptual apparatus and restrict the activity of the city in favor of an alien and imposed identity. The applied methodology was hermeneutic-criticism, but also observation of cases and textual sources. The proposal of citizen participation is made explicit, which can be configured as an exercise that breaks the regulatory structures that govern the city.

This research consisted of gathering information on the population density of phytoplankton and the amount of nutrients (carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus) present in the sediment of Apanás Lake, it should be noted that this body of water is artificial. Regarding the methodology, 3 water and sediment sampling points were chosen, at the entrance, middle zone and exit of the Lake (Fuentes, 2017). In the results, it was possible to show a relationship between the amount of nutrients and the microalgae population, it should be considered that the nutrients provided by runoff may also have influenced

This bibliographic essay addresses some research carried out in the last two decades on video game consumption and its impact on the subjectivities of Iberoamerican players and helps to understand how subjectivities are affected in different ways depending on the characteristics of the video games that are consumed; showing in this way how the phenomenon of video games is more widespread than is generally thought. Consequently, the results suggest that the subjectivities of the video players are constructed through the interrelationships that occur between the subjects and the dynamics in which the game develops, incorporating values, feelings and meanings into its construct.

The effect of 2 forms of soil fertilization on corn (Zea mayz L.) variety DK 7500 was evaluated at Las Mercedes, La Troncal – Ecuador Ranch, the treatments were: T1 = Supermagro enriched fertilizer: day 8 (25%), day 23 (25%), day 38 (50%); T2 = Conventional fertilizer 30 g / plant: day 8 (8-20-20% NPK), day 23 (15-3-20% NPK), day 38 (21-0-0-24% NPK), on the (Plant height 30, 60, 90 DDS (cm); Insertion height ear 70 DDS (cm); Ear length (cm); Ear diameter (cm); Rows of grain per ear; Weight 1000 grains (g); Tusa / Grain; Yield (kg / ha-1); Economic analysis. The experiment was run under a Completely Randomized Block Design with 4 replicates, the data were analyzed with ANOVA, the comparison of means was made with the Duncan Test (p <0.05). The calculations were carried out in the InfoStaf Statistical Package version 2019. The results responded favorably to the conventional fertilizer treatment (T2), registering a greater ear length of 15.90 cm, ear diameter of 4.95 cm, tusa – grain ratio of 5.38. The types of fertilizers did not affected plant height at 30, 60 and 90 days, ear insertion on day 70, number of rows of kernels per ear, weight of 1000 kernels and yield. The partial budget analysis showed that the best marginal rate of return was obtained by the conventional fertilization treatment (T2), leaving a marginal rate of 27.27%, representing that for every U$ 1.00 invested in conventional fertilization, the producer recovers his dollar invested and obtains an additional U$ 0.27.
