Pitahaya (Hylocereus undatus, Britt and Rose) is a plant that belongs to the cactaceae family, in Nicaragua it is sown mainly in the departments of Masaya and Carazo, about 700 hectares of pitahaya are reported, indicating that Nicaragua is the main producer in Central America with a national production of more than 6,160 tons, of which more than 50% are exported. In Nicaragua there is little information regarding the main pests that affect the pitahaya crop and there are no exhaustive reports of primary pests, for this reason a study was established with the aim of identifying the main pests present in the pitahaya crop in La Concha municipality, Masaya, the research was carried out between the months of July to November 2017, the pitahaya genotypes evaluated were Orejona, Rosa, Lisa, Chocoya, Sabaneña, and Espinuda. The study design used in non-experimental qualitative research that is based on the descriptive method, a form of applied research where there is no manipulation of variables. 9 orders and 40 families of insects were found associated with pitahaya, the most dominant families were in Palo Solo Farm Phycitidae and Noctuidae and in Panamá Farm it was Chrysopidae and Hesperiidae

The Municipal University Center (CUM) function in the Network is to coordinate technological innovation as a pivot center that connects the knowledge produced in the University Network with local needs to solve production and service problems, it uses Paulo Freire´s Popular Education principles to introduce the science that solves problems in Agricultural Companies. As a pivot principle, a diagnosis was made on the productive forms of agriculture and an improvement project was worked on to resolve the difficulties.   The concept of the Local Network for University Management of Knowledge and Innovation (GUCID for its acronyms in Spanish) was the basis of a Local Innovation System and its growing recognition is based on the fact that, regardless of the amount of codified knowledge that is produced, if there is no relationship between the amount of codified knowledge and the competencies (tacit knowledge) embodied in individuals and organizations, the locality will not capture the productive impulse of knowledge, nor will it translate it into innovation following a stable development path. It was concluded that innovation, promoted by students in their role as "extension workers" achieves the introduction of scientific results that ensure a solution to the productive problems of the Agricultural Units.

In the Santa Bárbara farm from Canuto-Chone-Manabí-Ecuador parish, two dairy feeding systems and two weaning periods were evaluated: T1) Cow's milk, weaning 30 days; T2) Cow's milk, weaning 45 days; T3) Ecomilk E.Q. Commercial Dairy Substitute, weaning 30 days; T4) Ecomilk EQ commercial dairy substitute, weaning 45 days, on the productive parameters: Weight (Kg), feed consumption (Kg), weight gain (Kg), feed conversion (Kg / Kg) and cost analysis (U $ ) in 20 crossbred calves 75% Sahiwal / 25% Jersey from 1 day of birth with an average weight of 34.70 ± 0.75 Kg; The calves were housed individually and fed with alfalfa hay, pre-initial concentrate with 25% protein and water ad libitum for 90 days of study. The statistical analysis of the variables studied was carried out from a completely randomized factorial design (2x2) with 5 repetitions per treatment, analyzed in the IBM SPSS Statistical Package version 20. There were no significant differences between the factors under study and their interaction on the productive parameters; while the cost analysis showed a benefit of early weaning at 30 days, with advantages when using the milk substitute. Concluding that, despite not presenting significant differences between the treatments and variables under study, the analysis of costs per feed kilogram consumed based on dry matter, showed benefits in favor of early weaning 30 days, when combining this factor with milk substitute, thus representing a saving of 15%.

In Nicaragua, the cultivation of white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is a hydrobiological product that contributes significant foreign exchange to the country's economy. The success obtained in this area is due to the fact that businessmen and producers have encouraged, expanded and technified the productive areas meant to shrimp farming. However, the growth of this industry has been affected by the incidences of viral and bacterial diseases, causing problems at a social and economic level in the field, which is why throughout the evolution of shrimp farming and the diseases that they affect it, in parallel studies it have been carried out in order to find alternatives to minimize the impact of pathogens on the farming, finding shrimp growing inland; practice that it is carried out in many developed countries and in which similar results to traditional production are presented. The purpose of the study was to compare the growth of white shrimp from traditional farming systems and inland farming, through the implementation of two treatments that consist of subjecting organisms to optimal salinities (T1) and salinities close to 0 (T2 ), being this the only variant in the management of the crop during a period of 49 days and with a density of 27 org / m2, obtaining results of final weights of 17.75 grams for T1 and 12 grams for T2, revealing that the Physical and chemical factor effects did not affect shrimp growth during the study.

The floristic composition of medicinal plants of the Agroforestry Transfer Center (CeTAF) was inventoried, and its cultural importance in the Indigenous community of Tiktik Kaanu, Rama and Kriol Territory, Autonomous Region of the South Caribbean Coast (RACCS). The diversity, state of conservation was known and the types of use and application of wild and cultivated medicinal flora were investigated. 40 species distributed in 33 genre and 26 botanical families were identified. The most abundant genre are Fabaceae, Rutaceae, Poaceae and Lauraceae. One species was identified for each appendix, I and II, of the CITES agreement. However, there is a lack of updated information to categorize the conservation status of more than 90% of the species in this area, from the studied collection that are used for the treatment of diseases that affect indigenous people and the general population. Materials used in the preparation of medicines include leaves, bark, roots, fruits, sap, (wooden) stems, flowers, and seeds. In some instances, the entire plant can be used, including the roots.

The study aimed to apply the Tullow Tae Kwon Do Model that allows the development of values in secondary school students, as they are guides that lead to good behavior. Tae Kwon Do is the basis of this model as an answer to the low level of values development, which is one of the causes of the decrease in their learning and dropping out of school, in contravention of what is stipulated in the Peruvian Curriculum Design. Being necessary to reevaluate the Physical Education Area and the practice of Tullow Tae Kwon Do, and it should be considered in the school curriculum for promoting the training and management of people and the development of values. The methodology and the method were quantitative and experimental respectively. The population was 319 students from the IEP "Ramón Espinoza Sierra" in the department of Lambayeque and the sample consisted of 60 students For data collection, the Observation Sheet of Values in Daily Activity was used. The data were tabulated in the SPSS application, obtaining descriptive results and the corresponding tables. The results demonstrated that the Model had positive effects in the development of values, the significant different evidences were manifested between the Pre Test and the Post Test.

This document has consisted of identifying fundamental elements to outline a post-developmental intercultural community accompaniment model, namely: sense of community, community leadership, community ownership, environmental awareness, networking and sustainability. The research was qualitative from a hermeneutical approach. Therefore, it has incorporated actions that lead to the good living of peoples where internal and external articulations are of vital importance, following the principles of democratic participation, horizontal dialogue, collective construction and co-responsibility that the community demands with a view to contributing, debating and above all deciding the future of the community together. In this process, environmental awareness plays a preponderant role since a new balance relationship must be established between human beings and nature with a view to achieving environmental sustainability, social justice and well-being, both individually and collectively.

The concept of the local knowledge management network was addressed as the basis of a Local Innovation System for Cuba. Hermeneutical methodology was applied at an interpretive level. The network was seen as a way of incorporating links and interactions that make possible, locally, regionally and nationally, the existence of external economies and increasing returns. The increasing recognition obtained by networks was based on the fact that, regardless of the amount of information and coded knowledge that society produces, when there is no link between coded knowledge and the skills embodied in individuals and organizations, it is not possible to capture the productive impulse of knowledge, translate it into innovation and a path of sustainable development
