Background: research competences are considered as the fundamental basis for the formation of an integral professional. Objective: to reveal the nursing student's perception of the process experienced in undergraduate formative research. Methods: it is a qualitative, descriptive, exploratory research, by means of a case study; the population conformed by 12 students of the fourth year of the career. The sample was intentional non-probabilistic of cases by criteria and by convenience population, as criteria inclusion: students who have approved for the first time the subject Tesis II (thesis II). The data collection technique was a semi-structured interview and the data analysis was conducted through the constant comparison method. The informed consent was previously signed. The scientific rigor was carried by criteria of credibility, transferability, dependence, and consent. Results: 231 relevant units of meaning were identified, which emerged at level 1 of the central focus. These were reduced and synthesized in 3 categories: aspects that affect training research, detectable suggestions in training research and usefulness of research training. From these the emerging categories appear, for the first one, facilitating and hindering aspects are derived, for the second one an emerging category appears oriented towards recommendations in training research, while for the third one appears the development of research training competences. From this, the significant units of greater relevance stand out: reading and critical thinking, subject structure, and subject coordination; while those of lesser importance: researcher's role and teaching knowledge. Conclusions: the structure and coordination of the course should be in accordance with the curricular regime, institutional lines, and student expectations. It is important to train the academics in research to strengthen it in the students, as well as to publish their findings. The usefulness of this research clearly identifies the generic competences.DeCS: STUDENTS, NURSING; NURSING EDUCATION RESEARCH; NURSING RESEARCH; FORMATIVE FEEDBACK; EDUCATION, NURSING.

Background: complex regional pain syndrome is a painful disabling and often chronic condition that remains as one of the most enigmatic diseases since its discovery 150 years ago and presents between the 2 % and the 5 % of adult population and up to the 20 % in children. Objective: to update and to deepen in the most important aspects of regional complex pain syndrome. Methods: a revision of the literature was made in English and Spanish, available in PubMed Central, Hinari and SciELO was carried out. The following descriptors were used: complex regional pain syndrome, sympathetic reflex dystrophy, Sudeck dystrophy, algodystrophy. Based on the obtained data, a bibliographic revision was made of 167 publishing articles, including 40 citations selected for the research, 38 of them of the last five years. Results: it was focus in those controversial topics like: history, epidemiology, physiopathology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, complementary studies and treatment. Conclusions: regional complex pain syndrome is a painful enigmatic and visible disorder. The understanding of the complex physiopathology has improved significant advances that will rule out the myth and will perform better therapies. Besides available treatments and which are in study, no standardized protocols are in hand which allows a multidisciplinary approach. Background: neurological diseases are one of the main causes of death and disability worldwide. Objective: to identify prognostic factors related to mortality from acute non-traumatic neurological diseases in seriously ill patients. Methods: a retrospective, cross-sectional study was carried out from January 1st to December 31st, 2019. Universe was constituted of 130 patients and the sample was 114. Percentage, sum, chi-square and Odd Radio were used to identify risk factors, with an IC of 95 %. Results: the age group of 50-59 years prevailed, male with ischemic cerebrovascular disease, although the highest percentage of deaths was due to hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease. Patients with surgical treatment were related to mortality, with a slight predominance of urgent surgery. About half of the patients required mechanical ventilation and it was a prognostic factor for mortality. Malnutrition and obesity predominated. Cardiac arrhythmias, need for vasoactive amine support, average length of stay greater than 14 days and complications were prognostic factors for mortality. Likewise, the leukoglycemic index greater than 0.75 and the initial APACHE II was greater than 15 points. The Glasgow score was above 8 points. Conclusions: the prognostic factors related to mortality from acute non-traumatic neurological diseases in severe patients were the presence of cardiac arrhythmias, need for mechanical ventilation and support for vasoactive amines, surgical treatment, leukoglycemic index greater than 0.75 points, initial APACHE II score greater than 15 points and the presence of complications. Background: malignant melanoma is an invasive tumour and difficult to treat due to its high level of mortality and aggressiveness, a morphometry study was required to provide a proper diagnosis of the disease. Objective: to describe the behavior of morphometric indicators as nuclear area, nuclear volume and nuclear shape factor. Methods: a case series study in 12 patients having malignant skin melanoma was carried out, in the period from September 2015 to September 2017 in Holguin Province. Theoretical and empirical methods were used; these last two methods were based on Morphometric techniques. Then a statistical analysis of the information obtained was performed and they were added on a chart. Results: the area and nuclear volume showed low rate. The shape factor showed less levels of pleomorfism than the ones described in specialized literature. Conclusions: when low values of nuclear volume and nuclear area in malignant melanoma are found we are dealing with hyperplastic tissue. The same happens with the incidence of the nuclear area; the values of the nuclear shape factor evidenced less pleomorfi levels than the ones described in specialized literature. The article presents the latin text and a translation of Francisco Suárez’s reply to the condemnation of Defensio fidei by the Paris Parliament in 1614, as well as the Cardinal Belarmino’s theological censure of the Parisian decree of condemnation. Together with an initial justification of the need for such a work, the article concludes with some assessments of the fundamental topics that caused the Defensio fidei’s parisian condemnation: the doctrines of the Pope’s indirect political power and of the tyrannicide.

“Truth” has been one of the central subjects in communication since the origins of the press and one of the core subjects of philosophy from its very beginnings. The matter is still latent in the mass media today, even after the changes brought about by new dilemmas resulting from developments in technology and production. These dilemmas are often related to the importance of public opinion in our democracies as part of the globalised world. In view of the significance of the published opinion, we see the need to review, from the philosophy of information approach, the concepts of journalistic truth and lie. Firstly, we analyse such information from two perspectives, those of positivist journalism and post-modern journalism, as a preliminary step before exploring a possible solution to that dichotomy by reconsidering perspectivism, and the contributions of F. Nietzsche and J. Ortega y Gasset in particular. Ultimately, we hope their philosophical contributions will serve to rebuild a solid foundation and to overcome the post-truth era.

This article analyzes in a combinatorial way some elements of the existentialist philosophy giving a special attention to the approaches of Jean-Paul Sartre, Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Simone de Beauvoir. The aim is to demonstrate how the existentialist conceptual tools can be (re)updated by some slopes of the postmodern thought. The purpose is to articulate a call to the inexcusable liberation of the humanity, but beyond the philosophical attempts of leaving behind the determination of the corporeality, the situation or the context. Such is the case of Judith Butler's thought through the radicalization of some notions of Beauvoir's feminism.

In 1918 was published in Berlin the first book of the German philosopher Ernst Bloch entitled Spirit of Utopia. That book, never translated into Spanish, entail the philosophical program developed by its author all his life long and the basic conceptual frame used to work out his thought. Here we introduce some keys to understand that work so attached to its context. A historical context extremely complex in and for Germany, that is perfectly reflected in its most eloquent philosophical features by Bloch. Two core concepts are specially stressed in this text: darkness of the lived moment and not yet known. We explain their scope and range specially linked to one of the main chapters of this book, called The form of the unbuildable question.

This article explores the relationship between public and private in Modern World as it is understood by Hegel in his later philosophy, especially in the Phylosophy of Right. The purpose is to account for the centrality of these two categories in the Hegelian understanding about the conformation of the modern State and the dialectical movement of the History. As opposed to his early period, the german philosopher accepted that the particularity principle and private property were not renounceable. However, the emergence of civil society, as a new intermediate sphere, presents serious obstacles that the hegelian system doesn´t seems to be able to integrate.

The objective of this article is to contextualize the birth of biorobotics in the framework of the links that exist between the birth of biopolitics and the ontology of modernity. With this objective the task of reflecting on the intimate connections between technoscience, whose emergence occurs precisely in parallel to the emergence of biopolitics, and the different forms of construction and exercise of power that modulate the consistency of reality are addressed In which we live. In particular, the development of robotics and its progressive connection with various life forms, among which is the human. Therefore, the concept of biorobotics is introduced in this work.
