In this work, the objective is to socialize a metacognitive orientation strategy as an essential base for the developing learning of the students of the Preschool Education degree of the Universidad de Oriente in Santiago de Cuba, as a result of a research process oriented to the search of solution to the scientific problem, the How to enhance the metacognitive orientation to favor the learning developer of the students of the Bachelor of Preschool Education?. This strategy is understood as a system of orientation actions and metacognitive resources to promote changes in the way students learn and act independently, autonomously and creatively, as well as offer pedagogical tools to the faculty of the career to attend to said purpose. In the research carried out, the research methods were used: scientific observation, documentary analysis, analytical-synthetic, system approach, structural system and modeling. Among the main results is the contribution of the strategy to the use of various metacognitive resources and the development of investigative, computer and social communication skills to solve professional problems in the territory.

The provision of services through the Internet has been increasing, consequently the Web sites of organizations must provide information and effective and efficient interaction mechanisms. This need increases when the organization belongs to an environment different from that of the users, in customs and even in language. Based on this budget, the present descriptive research with a mixed approach was developed, with the aim of analyzing to what extent web usability can be considered an element to be taken into account in the development of a website. For this, the criteria of 73 foreign students on the Portal of the Federal Police of Brazil were taken into account. The study was systematized through the research methods: bibliographic, analytical-synthetic and statistical review; In addition, the structured interview and survey techniques were used. Among the main findings, it stands out that, in terms of efficiency, the portal requires a more consistent interface to reduce frustrating access and navigation attempts; Regarding effectiveness, it is within the desired range, although certain aspects require revision. Regarding satisfaction, it is revealed that many users only repeat the use of the platform because they have no other option.

Information management is currently a very common problem in all workplaces. The Cienfuegos Blood Bank presents great difficulties with this process, because it does not have a computer tool capable of facilitating this work. To solve this problem, an investigation was developed that aims to create a web application that interacts with the implemented database to generate reports. Research methods were applied: modeling, systemic-structural and analytical-synthetic; as well as those of the technological design activity: ICONIX as a development methodology, and the CASE Enterprise Architect tool for software engineering design. PHP was selected as the programming language and HTML was used for the implementation, adding some Bootstrap4 dependencies, in combination with SQL Server 2000 as the database management system. This article aims to describe the application developed to generate reports with the requested data, these will be displayed through tables, considerably improving information management and enabling better organization in the processes carried out in the workplace.

The Covid-19 pandemic brought consequences, many of them irreparable, in the social, health and economic fields. The objective of this study is to determine the specific impact of Covid-19 on GDP and its components: household consumption, gross fixed capital formation, public spending, exports and imports in Ecuador; For this, a quasi-experimental design was used, applying the Differences in Differences method. The database of the main macroeconomic aggregates of the real and financial sector published in the bulletins of the quarterly national accounts of the Central Bank at prices of the base year 2007 was considered, taking into account five quarters before and five quarters after Covid-19, using the former as the control group and the latter as the treatment group. Among the main results, a 7.5% decrease in GDP was found, being more relevant in the gross formation of fixed capital; therefore, with greater effects on productive capacity and job creation, concluding that it is necessary to implement policies that stimulate public and private investment, first analyzing its conditions and components, but, above all, the availability of money and its high cost

This paper describes the design of a microstrip antenna array with dual band elliptical patches for Wi-Fi and WiMAX applications. The array consists of 4 elements and is fabricated on a dielectric substrate whose dielectric permittivity is ϵ = 4.4 and a thickness of 1.6mm. Initially the work describes the design and simulation results for the basic parameters of the antenna such as: return loss, input impedance, bandwidth and radiation patterns; then the simulation results are compared with the experimental values where a dual band antenna is obtained operating at frequencies of 2. 4 GHz and 3.7 GHz corresponding to the Wi-Fi and WiMAX applications respectively, where the return loss for the 2.4 GHz frequency has a value of -21.78 dB and a bandwidth of 90 MHz corresponding to 3.75

The object of study of this research a sash called cawiña, used by the indigenous inhabitants of the Cacha community located in the city of Riobamba, Chimborazo. This is done through the prior analysis of the emergence of fabrics in the national territory through the historical study of the traces left in ceramic objects by different cultures. Simultaneously, the Andean worldview is determined, specifically the thought of the Cacha nationality. Then, there is a formal analysis based on the compositive categories of the sash, with a case study sample C5 collected approximately thirty two years ago in said community. The result is a graphic narrative characterized by the systematization and order under the principles of symmetry, rhythm, and in a relevant way the Andean proportion.

Cybersecurity analysis of e-learning platforms is critical because they store and transmit sensitive and confidential information, such as personal data of students and teachers, grades and test results, and academic documents. In addition, e-learning platforms are often used to conduct online learning activities, which can increase the risk of disruptions and technical problems if not properly managed. The paper aims to perform a systematic literature review of cybersecurity issues in Moodle, Blackboard, and Microsoft Teams e-learning platforms using the protocol defined by Kitchenham from 2016 to 2022. The results detail some measures, including data encryption, more robust user authentication, software upgrades, and security policies that mitigate threats in these learning environments.

O presente estudo procura verificar se as actividades electrónicas, desenvolvidas a partir da Teoria dos Campos Conceptuais, produzem efeitos positivos ou negativos sobre a conceptualização do antiderivado; para o qual o desenho quase experimental foi implementado tomando como amostra o primeiro semestre do curso de Economia. O paralelo A representava o grupo de controlo, onde o ensino sobre este tópico era feito numa aula tradicional, enquanto o paralelo B era considerado o grupo experimental, com o qual as tarefas eram resolvidas em linha. Finalmente, foi aplicado um teste de base estruturado e, ao comparar os resultados, ficou estatisticamente demonstrado que as actividades electrónicas influenciam a conceptualização do antiderivado, pois "p" obteve um valor de 0,036 após a realização do teste T.

Evaluation refers to a continuous process that is essential for teaching and learning. Throughout history, various strategies and techniques have been adopted based on evaluation standards and the objectives to be achieved. Currently, after the COVID-19 pandemic, ICTs have been an essential tool for educational institutions. In spite of the climate of distrust created by the use of these tools, the professors of the University of Guayaquil of the Information Technologies career, have been forced to use them as a method of teaching and evaluation of curricular contents in response to the needs of the educational community. Therefore, this study uses a descriptive documentary type approach of applied field and as an instrument the survey technique was applied, having as a sample of 28 teachers, this was done with the purpose of making a comparative analysis, use and importance of ICT as an essential tool for the evaluations of the curricular units aligning with the functional criteria of formative and summative evaluation during the online classes.

Technological tools, teaching materials and students’ acceptance are key aspects for online education at current times. The use of computer algebra systems (CAS) may improve students’ perception about online learning as it offers an interactive environment where academic achievement could increase. Math software Wolfram Mathematica under its cloud version was studied for learning second semester multivariate calculus online. A quasi-experiment was conducted with control and experimental groups. Pre-tests were carried out to evaluate the similarity of groups prior treatment and post-tests to assess scores after students learnt derivatives in multivariable calculus. Two-sample t-test was used to determine how similar the means of the control and experimental groups were for pre and post-tests’ scores. Experimental group scored significantly better than control group demonstrating the positive effect this software had on multivariate calculus learning. Students from experimental group answered a survey to evaluate in more detail the experience. Results indicate that math software should be implemented in calculus courses during online education.
