Transportation is an essential element for socioeconomic growth; however, its development generates a series of effects such as congestion, noise, the emission of harmful substances into the environment, the depletion of non-renewable resources. One of the factors that affect the reduction of pollution to the environment is the replacement of conventional fuel vehicles by other types of propulsion systems, including electric motors. The introduction of electric vehicles can become the key element in the development of the sustainable transport strategy in urban areas, the demand for these vehicles must be driven by the owners of the vehicle fleet, especially by companies. The owners of conventional taxis in the city of Cuenca who must renew their units, according to the AFUT- Asociación Frente Unido de Taxistas-, are skeptical about the renewal with electric units proposed by local authorities, mainly due to the uncertainty about the reliability and profitability offered by this type of vehicle, which must be at least equal to those of a vehicle with an internal combustion engine. In this research, an experimental research methodology was applied by using EMOLAB computer software and a Kia Soul EV electric vehicle to obtain a database with information that describes the behavior of the electric vehicle. Applying factorial experiment designs (DOE), the variables that have the most influence on the autonomy and energy consumption of the electric vehicle were used for their evaluation.

The general objective of this research was to analyze the management of anemia, health status and family reintegration in girls, boys and adolescents sheltered in INABIF Residential Shelter Centers; We worked with the qualitative approach, a phenomenological study that aims to clarify, through inquiry and analysis, situations or phenomena in a specific environment. The information was collected through semi-structured interviews with servers from the “Divino Jesus” residential reception center that belongs to INABIF; the interview consisted of 15 guiding questions, the results of which were later triangulated according to the study design. Three categories were defined: anemia management; health condition; and family and social reintegration, with their corresponding subcategories. The results showed that the management of anemia, health status and family-social reintegration in the girls, boys and adolescents welcomed in the unit of analysis, was carried out as stipulated by the governing body, which, being guidelines of Generic public health and applicable in large populations that are vulnerable or not, but healthy, are not applicable in their entirety in the host population at the study site, because they have biological, genetic and even physiological characteristics that make it necessary to manage it individually.

Research is one of the most complex tasks of the journalistic career. Future professionals of journalism have serious challenges to adjust the demands of the public and the communication system. This article proposes to analyze and contrast the points of view of several authors, show results and formulate proposals in order to achieve changes that will lead them to perfect their research techniques to obtain more exact information on a topic that they propose, adjusting to the requirements of the environment. Surveys and interviews that accompany this study were carried out to professionals, students and teachers from six universities in Guayaquil, and have the purpose of analyzing if the way in which the subject of investigative journalism is taught correctly at universities and, if possible, propose suggestions to improve the course of study. The traditional media no longer conduct journalistic investigations. They do not have adequate conditions for financing them, so look for different research activities to replace, such as news, stories or facts which are hedges at the time and do not require a background investigation, according to the media.

Quick wins are the immediate results that the organization needs in the execution of projects; since, they are that visible improvement that can be developed quickly and with immediate benefit; its impact is not long-term, but it is seen by everyone as important to the organization. They work with few resources and should not be given in a time greater than 60 or 90 days. A systematic review is presented in which it is indicated that Springer was the database that returned the most related titles; It is evident that the United States was the country from which more studies were proposed and the year 2017 in which the greatest results were presented. This strategy stands out in the areas of productivity, health and information technology, and it requires an adequate dexterity of managers to make use of certain alerts already raised by experiences, so as not to fall into the so-called “rapid failures”.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating role of the exchange of knowledge between the support of senior management and the innovation of processes in Ecuadorian women dedicated to the production of chemicals, drugs, industries, food, beverages and plastics. An empirical study of around 230 firms, which were randomly selected to fill out a survey that measures variables, top management support, knowledge sharing, and process innovation. An analysis of equations based on the maximum likelihood estimation method was performed to verify the relationships between these variables. The main finding of this study is that the partial mediation of the exchange of knowledge between the support of senior management and the innovation of business processes was verified. Results are limited to industries in previously industrialized sectors: chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, and plastics. The novelty of the study is that many authors have argued that there is a great problem in investigating innovation; and it is that, almost all of them try to measure the innovation in products. This study seeks to measure a specific aspect of innovation, which is business process innovation.

Concern for environmental sustainability is becoming increasingly strong in the field of international business and government decisions. The “Circular Economy Strategy” is an example of a legislative initiative by the European Union, which reflects guidelines on the regulation of resource consumption and future relationships with its suppliers. The purpose of this research is to analyze the circular economy as a competitive strategy for exporting companies, based on the review of 15 scientific articles based on research from companies that have implemented the circular economy. The development of this research was based on a qualitative approach with the application of analytical-synthetic and historical-logical methods. The results indicate that companies are making changes in their production processes to help reduce the use of resources and improve waste management. It is concluded that e companies, at different rates, depending on their strengths and capacities, are managing to develop value proposals to underpin the sustainability of resources, managing to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
