Resumen
Introduction. The human being must face challenges, duels and unexpected situations throughout his life, which in turn, generate negative emotions such as stress, negative and repetitive thoughts such as rumination whose consequences are evident in his health. However, all this will be determined by the way in which the person is positioned in situations of stress, that is, if they have the resources to face them, they will see them as a challenge and if exceeds those resources they will see them as a threat. Objectives. To know the relationship between stress, perception of challenge vs. threat and rumination on health in people with partners, and identify differences by age and schooling in the variables stress, perception of challenge vs threat, rumination and health. Methodology. The study design was correlational, cross-sectional comparative. The sample were 388 participants, with a non probability sample by quota. The stress, rumination and SF-36 physical and psychological health scales and two indicators of perception of challenge vs. threat to stress were used. Results. Negative correlations were evidenced mainly with some health factors; concluding that the presence of stress and rumination in a person’s life negatively affects their health and well-being (p<.01). Likewise, statistically significant differences were found in schooling and age (p<.05), especially in the age groups between 17 and 30 years old and secondary schooling. Discussion. As is known, a constant and frequent state of stress and rumination generates more exhaustion and less energy, which is a long term health risk. Likewise, there are sociodemographic variables that show the substantial change that is perceived at each stage, due to the lack of both physical and psychological resources available to them. Conclusion. From the aforementioned, it could be concluded that stress and rumination have an impact on the physical and mental health of people, due to the deficiency in the resources they have.

Resumen
Introduction. In Mexico, the experience of evaluating public programs is rare and negative, including those occurring in the primary sector. Additionally, accountability is incipient, closer to an audit than to a clear and precise assessment. Objective. Analyze the evaluation process of the Programa de Fomento Ganadero (Livestock Development Program) to determine its influence (effectiveness) on the impacts on Yucatán’s livestock subsector. Development. Longitudinal trend study, with a mixed approach, in which the analysis was based on the theoretical-methodological principles of Pablos, Ortiz and Pons (2009). It was found that the FG evaluations in the state of Yucatán from 2001 to 2014 presented modifications. These were agreed upon and determined year after year according to the regulatory requirements (indicators and methodological instruments that were used for the evaluation designed by FAO) and needs for federal (field Alliance Program objectives) and state authorities (State Development Plan objectives) seeking to verify compliance with regulations (Rules of Operation physical and financial goals, the producer’s opinions and evaluating impacts and program ́s management (these last two, incorporated since 2001). Conclusions. FG neglect social participation and the dynamic systems analysis, that is the application of qualitative studies oriented towards quality, user satisfaction, congruence, opportunity, pertinence and efficiency with a constructivist evaluative approach.

Resumen
Social participation (SP) is a priority for the development of local governments. In said activity, there are instruments with the purpose of establishing a formalized mechanism for interlocution and dialogue with representatives. This perspective has been translated into decentralization policies that are accompanied by participatory processes such as the Contribution Fund for Municipal Social Infrastructure (CFMSI). The purpose of this essay is to analyze the interaction between formal and informal institutions in the process of prioritization of works financed by the CFMSI, from the neo-institutional approach. The study uses a qualitative analysis, where semi-structured interviews were applied to the members of the city council and to the members of the Municipal Social Development Council (MSDC) in the municipality of the study.
The MSDC is a formal institution based on organized participation and citizen representation which have been implemented in the municipalities of the state of Oaxaca to promote the SP in the use and distribution of CFMSI resources. Additionally, in parallel, the community assembly has served as the highest decision-making and prioritization body for public works in the municipalities governed by the Indigenous Normative Systems (SNI). Thus, the community assembly and the MSDC are the main institutions that determine the prioritization of public works in San Andrés Paxtlán. Formal and legal participation are represented in the MSDC and at the same time, an informal and legitimate participation of the community assembly of the Indigenous Normative System of Oaxaca.

Resumen
Introduction. The problem of gender violence in the municipality of Oaxaca de Juárez, requires the design of Public Policies that seek its prevention, considering an area of opportunity that has not been properly exploited: education. Methodology. Pure research, with a multimodal approach, bibliographic and field research through a case study in a technical secondary school. Results. 289 third grade students were included, who showed the presence of sexist ideas, as well as their components. Discussion. The relationship between education and the prevention of gender violence is generally proposed, taking into account the idea that sexism is a risk factor for its exercise and acceptance,as well as the role that the State must assume from the Public Administration, to solve this problem. Conclusions. Through the analysis of interviews, surveys and theoretical foundations the relevance of the public policy proposal is demonstrated, given the presence of sexist ideas among the student population, as well as the influence of the environment in the normalization of violence towards women. This proposal aligns to the objectives of the 2019-2021 municipal development plan, as well as the current study plans and programs, considering curricular autonomy in high schools.

Resumen
Costa Rican society has experienced certain changes in demographic and epidemiological patterns since the establishment of its current health system, which poses challenges for the [public] health insurance’s permanence as it has been managed thus far. Therefore, the authorities of the Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social [Costa Rican Social Security Fund] have ventured into the conceptual challenge of defining what health insurance sustainability means and what measures should be implemented in order to achieve it. With the purpose of contributing to the discussion on the subject, this essay aims to analyze the aforementioned definition from the dimensions that compose it (deconstruction) and reconstruct the concept of health insurance sustainability with a synthesis of the key elements.

Resumen
Oral health depends largely on the preventive measures we adopt to preserve it. The elements used are varied (dental floss, mouthwashes, etc.) but without a doubt, the main one is tooth brushing, and toothpaste is required in order to do this. One of the most common questions for dentists is, which is the most suitable toothpaste. Subsequently in the young adult population, it is also if any of these toothpastes have the ability to whiten teeth. However care should be taken regarding the handling of carbon-based toothpastes and it is recommended to consult a dentist, since their use for teeth whitening continues to be controversial.

Introduction. Music therapy is the professional use of music on human beings, in order to optimize their quality of life, improve their health and physical, emotional and spiritual well-being; As such, the practice of professional care must contain those elements that favor the recovery of patients. Objective. To analyze the effect of music therapy in the immediate postoperative recovery of the patient undergoing open cholecystectomy. Methodology. Study with a quantitative, quasi-experimental, comparative methodological approach, a population of 22 patients between 20 and 40 years of age (group A-5 and group B-17), scheduled for open cholecystectomy under general anesthesia, with 10-point Aldrete. Results. A difference was observed from the first 5 minutes in the recovery of patients in the postoperative period with whom music therapy was applied as part of their care; at 45 minutes they had a score of 9 in their entirety. When contrasting the hypothesis of non-parametric tests with the Mann-Whitney U test to compare the two independent groups, a statistically significant difference was observed from 5 minutes to 45 / min (P≤ 0.05). Discussion. These results coincide with other similar studies, in which a relationship between recovery time at five, ten and fifteen minutes with music therapy inpostsurgical patients has been reported. Conclusions. Music therapy as a complementary nursing intervention has a positive effect on open cholecystectomy postoperative patients, with a shorter recovery time, according to Aldrete’s assessment.

Resumen
Introduction. In Colombia, the limitations of rural development stem from the inconsistency in compliance with the laws that support it. Because of this, there are shortcomings in the face of property rights and conflict over land use, affecting the quality of life of the population of rural laborers. Methodology. For the development of this research from a qualitative approach with the case study as a method, the following techniques were used to generate the data: the analysis of documents, the semi-structured interview, the application of surveys and direct observation. Results. Economic practices that improve the income of rural families were identified. These include the cultivation and processing of some products of the region. The analysis of social welfare indicators in two periods of time show and reflect a favorable rural development. Discussion. Due to their characteristics, the Campesino Reserve (ZRC) areas are an ideal setting to implement social economy practices. These are subject to compliance with the land distribution regulations and to a necessary education process for community participation, which guarantees more participationand therefore greater coverage of the benefits. Conclusions. The potential of the ZRCs to promote rural development from the active participation of their communities, can be seen through the compatibility of the theoretical components that define the ZRC and the Social Economy. As well as with the informationgenerated from the survey and interviews applied to residents of the Area.
