The purpose of the present work was to identify the usefulness of the conceptual maps that the first cycle students of general studies of a Peruvian public university perceive. Students produced various concept maps to represent their conceptual understanding through the Cmap Tools program. The methodology of this study corresponds to the quantitative approach, so the Concept Mapping Questionnaire (CMQ), in its Spanish version, was applied to 70 students enrolled in the 2019-I academic period. The results show that most of the students consider that concept maps are useful to some extent, mainly because it has helped them to clarify the interrelationships between the contents of the subject, to think independently and to better understand their learnings.

The relevance of the stated problem of the crisis of 6-7-year old’s is dictated by the recently growing tendency to bring back children to preschool institutions after a short period at school by parents who notice the child’s painful condition associated with school maladaptation. In this regard, many researchers and practicing educators recommend reviewing the start dates for children at school so that the child starts school at the age of seven. Other teachers notice a significant increase in the work load on primary schoolchildren connected to the introduction of the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education and the corresponding forms of control and assessment activities. Thus, there was a need to develop new technologies to preserve the health of younger students and allow them to overcome the crisis of the onset of education. The purpose of this article is to describe the developed technology aimed at helping 6-7-year old to overcome the age crisis and prevent school maladaptation with the help of early formation of stress tolerance. The main method in the study is the design of a technology for early formation of stress tolerance and prediction of the results of its implementation in the experimental groups of 6-7-year-old children. The technology is based on the principles of continuity of the educational process between preschool educational organizations and schools. With the implementation of the developed technology the following results were achieved: increased motivation for success and higher somatic health level manifested in sport and creative activities. The above-mentioned results in their turn contributed to crisis prevention, school deprivation of first graders and comfortable overcoming of the crisis of 6-7 year olds. The materials of the article can be useful to organizers of sport and creative activities in preschool educational institutions, educators of preparatory groups, teachers, methodologists in preschool and primary education, as well as physical education teachers and primary school teachers. The materials of the article can be used in the system of advanced training of teachers of physical education and elementary school, as well as in the preparation for professional activities in preschool educational institutions and elementary schools of students of teacher training colleges and universities.

The purpose of this paper is to put forward a hypothesis about the “philological translation” of literary texts of increased complexity and test it on the material of specific works. Based on the material of Russian and foreign translation studies, this paper formulates the concept of “philological translation” in the appendix to a specific publishing project within the series “Literary monuments” published by the Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and considers the most important practical aspects of the problem of adequate translation of literary texts of increased complexity. The analysis of the translation of two works by the representative of the French New Novel Claude Simon illustrates clearly the example of a “philological translation”. In the course of the study, the authors came to the conclusion that a philological translation implies an appeal to a text that is classical in its richness, complexity, and significance in world literature. The commercial potential of translating such a text is not obvious and requires the publisher to give up short-term profitability, the translator to give up routine work that fits into a predetermined time frame, and the reader to give up focusing on non-problematic (non-conflict, uncomplicated), linear, one-time reading/consumption of the book in favor of re-reading/savoring.

Current research indicates that the changes that accompany aging (feeling of insecurity, modification of lifestyle, restriction of the social environment, loss of family and friends, and less psycho-physical autonomy) may favor the appearance of depressive symptoms. However, there are few studies that address this issue, including rural areas. Therefore, the present work seeks to identify the risk of depression and predisposing psychosocial factors in older adults in rural and urban settings. Therefore, the present work seeks to identify the risk of depression and predisposing psychosocial factors in older adults in rural and urban settings. For this purpose, a descriptive-comparative study was carried out. 80 people over 65 from rural and urban areas in the south of the province of Misiones participated. Depression was assessed with the GDS-15, and predisposing factors with a semi-structured interview. The risk of depression was estimated using descriptive statistics, and the comparison of depressive state and risk factors between the samples was analyzed with the t and Chi2 tests. Regression analysis was used to determine the predictive weight of risk factors for depression. This study showed normal and mild values of depression in both samples, with greater preponderance in the urban segment (light-moderate level). The main predisposing factors in the rural population are low spirituality, socioeconomic status, and recent grief; and in the urban sample, the lack of purpose in life and recent duels. Increased propensity for depression was observed in urban adults, with levels reaching moderate depression in some cases. The difference may be due to the fact that urban older adults, although they have a somewhat better socioeconomic level, perceive less social support, experience greater loneliness, have a less clear and defined purpose in life, and a lesser sense of spirituality.

In the second half of the 20th century, many music researchers demonstrated a steady interest in music categories as the space and time, whose fundamental nature and unifying (integrating) potential are obvious. However, despite the undoubted contribution to the consolidation of the findings, there was a need for further improvement in music studies, both regarding the content and the logical (including mathematical) research apparatus. This article considers these aspects of the comprehensive model of the semantic space of music in modern research theory and practice and its impact on the system of contemporary musical education.

The article examines the relationship between cognitive activity and creation of feedback in learning. The study was conducted on 120 students of Baku State University. Experimental and control groups were selected in the research and carried out in two stages. During the research, modern teaching methods and other techniques were used to increase cognitive activity. A comparative analysis of the first and second stages showed that the relationship between increased cognitive activity and the feedback mechanism is bilateral. That is, the creation of feedback increases cognitive activity, increasing cognitive activity inevitably creates a feedback mechanism. The research has shown that there is a correlation between learning achievements (r = 0.29), self-realization (r = 0.33), self-assessment (r = 0.25), learning motivation (r = 0.35) and cognitive activity in the experimental group. The study concludes that high academic performance is associated with the desire to achieve the highest results, develop potential and increase self-esteem through academic achievement. The study concludes that the desire to develop the potential, to achieve the highest results with high academic performance and to increase self-esteem through academic achievement are interconnected. It is the feedback mechanism that can act as a condition for enhancing learning achievements.
