Resumen
The purpose of this article is to analyze the meaning of care activity of elderly people with severe dependence or major dependence carried out by senior female caregivers located in the Metropolitan Region. Primarily, the analysis focuses on the disparities faced by women caregivers in their regular work, in the meaning of that work and in the relevance that it has to people, where kinship relationships, mutual support, reciprocity and sustainability of life alongside the practice of care, are involved. The approach used in this research is qualitative, based on semi-structured interviews with female caregivers. On one hand, the results reaffirm -from a feminist perspective- the unequal scenery of care activities and that public policy is insufficient to address the well-being of primary and informal caregivers, also, the findings showed the relation between the meaning of care and the dependence of persons with dementia as Alzheimer's disease. On the other hand, the results exhibit tensions and conflicts in the practice of care, as well as social constructs anchored within the social order of gender and the elderliness of the caregivers.

Resumen
The aim of this research was to identify the perceived quality of life of the older adults attending elderly clubs in Huixquilucan, State of Mexico, and determine the sociodemographic factors related to that perception. The hypothesis was that older adults would have a high perception of their quality of life. A descriptive and correlational study, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental cross-sectional design, was carried out. 479 older adults, chosen by a non-probabilistic and convenience sampling method, participated in the study. The RL Quality of Life scale was applied (López, 2016). The obtained data were analyzed using different statistical programs. The results showed a high perception of quality of life, reinforced by attending social activities; a significant relation between the following measured variables was observed: schooling, age, occupation, religion, marital status, who do they live with, having a caregiver and income level

Resumen
Gender responds to biographies that allow us to observe their identity and determine family relationships and roles learned in different cohorts and vital conditions. Older men and women face situations, generate vital sense, and convey their vision. The purpose of this research was to analyze the construction of gender roles from family relationships during life and their impact on aging. A qualitative phenomenological-hermeneutical methodology and semi-structured interviews were used to analyze how do men visualize feminine and masculine roles and how do women perceive female and male roles. The results showed that the roles defined and transmitted in childhood change along the life course, mostly for experiences and growing old than for ideological change. Building a family is relevant for both sexes, with gender differences. In conclusion, the family builds gender roles as a multifactorial framework; the expectations of mothers and fathers are transmitted with influence of the context and biographical elements. Older men consider the family important as accompany and attention elements, while older women emphasize the emotional importance of the family rather than their instrumental importance.

Resumen
Purpose: This research paper aims to analyze an emblematic sentence regarding the rights and freedoms of the elderly in the context of the emergency caused by COVID-19 (Lanzieri, S. c / GCBA s / amparo - others, 04/20/2020).
Introduction: The studied case questioned a regulation settled by Buenos Aires City, which obliged people aged 70 years and over to request special permission from the local authority to carry out activities considered essential for everyone. The main argument was the generic categorization of the elderly as a population at risk, but that regulation restricted their right to exercise freedoms on equal terms as others.
Development: From a trialist perspective of Elder Law, this paper analyzes the facts, rules and judicial criteria prevailing at the time of the verdict during the pandemic.
Conclusions: According to the investigation approach, the sentence shows the discriminatory nature of the objected regulation, its unnecessary paternalistic edges, the unlawful interference, and overprotection of the elderly, whose consequences reinforced ageism and disempower older persons

Resumen
The relation between the environment and the elderly has been a very important issue for environmental gerontology. The objective of this article is to analyze how the physical and social structures that today constitute the public space used by and in which the elderly participates in Cerro del Cuatro, Jalisco, have been erected. A qualitative research was executed through the ethnographic method, semi-structured interviews, and participant observation of 8 selected cases. A thematic analysis, under the framework of Bourdieu's theory of social fields, was carried out. It was identified that the public space in which elderly participate has been constructed from a perspective of vulnerability, evident in the deficient characteristics of the spaces and services they have.

Resumen
Caregiver's negative vision about aging has adverse effects on older people receiving care. The aim of this study is to identify negative stereotypes about aging of formal caregivers for elderly persons in Montevideo, Uruguay, and to explore the possibility of modifying those stereotypes through training sessions from a psychogerontological perspective. The study was carried out using the Negative Stereotypes Towards Aging Questionnaire (CENVE, 2005) on a non-probabilistic sample. The analysis was descriptive and comparative, focused on the differences between statistical means. The overall score clearly showed a significant drop in the top levels of negative stereotypes (from 27.3 points pre-intervention to 6.8 points post-intervention) and the disappearance of the highest levels. Of the three factors considered in the CENVE questionnaire, the highest registered stereotypes correspond to the Character-Personality factor. The results of this study highlight the importance of appropriate gerontological training for formal caregivers of elderly persons.

Resumen
The present study presents a model of a compensation system to define salary increases based on an evaluation of staff performance. The approach and definition of the proposal is based on Adams' theory of equity (1963) and general theories of performance. The study is based primarily on the application of the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) to check the perception of inequality that workers have regarding the way the company has made the latest wage increases. The application of the survey presents quantitative data that measure the level of employee satisfaction, as well as qualitative data to describe staff views. The results revealed a feeling of inequity among employees regarding the way in which wage increases are determined. Consequently, a performance evaluation model is provided based on a discontinuous graphical scale for four levels of collaborators divided into Managers, Middle Management, General Role and Operations, where competencies are evaluated, future objectives are defined, and the final salary increase is determined.

Resumen
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced most countries in the world to adopt strict policies of social isolation. As a consequence, there have been positive and negative indirect effects on the environment. For example, some countries have reported improvements in air quality, cleaner beaches, and decreased environmental noise. However, there have also been negative indirect effects. This research aims to analyze the effects of social isolation policies on meteorological observation systems. It was found that the meteorological observations from aircraft as well as surface-based observations have been strongly affected. To a lesser extent, marine and satellite measurements have been affected. Our research highlights the importance of having a resilient and automated meteorological observation system, as well as complementary methods of monitoring the atmosphere and weather.

Resumen
The existence of a company is justified by its customers, who are active as the most important assets. Faced with more competitive markets and where the needs of customers are increasingly demanding, companies seek efficiency in the use and analysis of data. Losing customers is more expensive than attracting new customers. The study on customer behavior, specifically attrition, has become a prevailing need within the business environment. In the presentation of research, data mining techniques are used to build models of customer attrition prediction, which can be applied within the financial disintermediation market. The statistical models used are: Decision Trees, Random Forests and Logistic Regression, these are evaluated in terms of accuracy by the area below the receiver operating characteristics curve (ROC). The evaluation of the results, the evaluation that the random forest has a better performance than the other models applied in the study.

Resumen
Previous studies have shown that, to improve productivity levels in a company, it is necessary to create a favorable organizational climate (Corredor, 2016). In this sense, the case study of a tuna industry in Ecuador is presented, which in recent years has decreased its productivity. Therefore, the objective of this study is to determine the dimensions that intervene in the organizational climate of the Ecuadorian tuna company and that, in turn, influence its productivity; using a questionnaire adapted to the six-dimensional theory of organizational climate proposed by Weisbord (1976), which includes: purposes or objectives, relationships between members, management support structure and mechanisms, support mechanisms, rewards and leadership. The results show that, in fact, there are improvement points in terms of objectives, leadership and reward system, for which some recommendations are proposed.
