Recent research supports the fact that many of the dye-type food additives used in the food industry, far from satisfying the organoleptic requirements of the population; greatly reduce the health of those who consume it; such is the case of red 40 widely used in Peru. Based on what has been described, this research focused on determining the cytotoxic effect of red food dye 40 in Artemia salina nauplii. For this, a nauplos incubation system was installed, to then be exposed to different concentrations of the dye under study, forming the treatments: T0: 0.00 (mg / L), T1: 3.125 mg / L, T2: 15.625 mg / L and T3: 31.25 mg / L and finally measure their morta- lity after 48 hours. The results showed that T0 had a 0% lethality, T1 had a 60% lethality, T2 a 100% lethality and T3 a 100% lethality. It is concluded that the red food dye 40 presented a cytotoxic effect and hyperactivity in locomotion in nauplii of Artemia salina, with an LC 50 of 2.6.

The investigation determined the influence between the labor satisfaction levels and the satisfaction customers levels, in relation to quality of services provides for the organization. The investigation started in the first trimester of 2018 and finished the second trimester in the same year in district of Jesus Maria, province of Lima. The kind of investigation is correlation. For measure the satisfaction levels in both groups, was used two instruments to collect data. In the hypothesis proof, was used the inverse proof, using the Pearson coefficient and the Anova to analyze the difference between variances. Finally the null hypothesis was rejected and prove the existence of the positive relation between the satisfaction levels of employees and customers. Also evidenced a significant diferences between the statistics medias in both groups, after and before to the application of improvement program about the life worker quality.

The situation that is lived worldwide has promoted virtual education, so that university tea- chers have been forced to adapt to this exclusive way of teaching, therefore, questions ari- se about the didactics, methodology and resources they use in this environment to get stu- dents to learn. Given this phenomenon, the objective of the present study was to find out the predominant teaching styles among university teachers in a private institution in Lima. The methodology was descriptive of a quantitative approach and the sample was made up of 114 teachers from the Hospitality and Tourism faculty of the mentioned institution. The re- sults obtained determined that the prevailing teaching style is functional, followed by formal and structural. These styles are related to the academic knowledge of university teaching.

The racial imaginary in the United States’ literary discourse is the object of study of this re- search, which is aiming at determining how the discourse of ilocutive agents, who are black female valuating subjects, reflects the racial imaginary of the author as a subject of the enun- ciation. Theory involving discourse, Critical Discourse Analysis, imaginaries and ideology was presented in the research. The methodology included a literary review, a literary analysis, a Critical Discourse Analysis, the historical-logical, the inductive-deductive and analytic-syn- thetic methods. Several US novels dealing with race and written by black and white authors were analyzed in order to understand the difficulties in writing about the “other” Finally, The Help was selected for the discourse analysis of black female valuating subjects due to the controversy this novel generated since its release. A dimensional analysis demonstrated that even though the racial imaginary has indeed an impact on the portrayal of the characters, this novel also has positive characteristics present in some African-American works.

It is common not to consider that military governments also adopted important mea- sures for the conservation of natural heritage. However, the reality in Peru and Bra- zil indicates that a significant part of the protected natural areas, as well as laws and other measures to protect biodiversity, were carried out during these democracy inte- rruptions. This note highlights the performance of General Enrique Gallegos in Peru.

It is indisputable, the role that flora and particularly medicinal plants play in improving the quality of life of the world population. In Peru, knowledge about plants and their applications has been transmitted throughout history and today constitutes a legacy inherited by the Andean-Amazon communities, which are possessors of an exceptional, unique and promising flora; and unfortu- nately these traditions are gradually being lost, especially due to demographic expansion. Based on what has been described, this research aims to determine the importance of the promising medicinal flora of Jesus, Cajamarca, Peru. For this, 96 semi-structured interviews were applied, using the “snowball” technique, in order to collect data regarding taxonomic characters: family, scientific and common name, as well as ethnomedical characters: part used, type of preparation, method of administration, treated disease or illness, and Use Value index, of each species. It is reported for the Jesus district, 24 species of Flora promising medical, distributed in 23 genera and 18 families; being, the most representative for their number of species, the Asteraceae (3), Lamiaceae (3) and Fabaceas (2). Finally, of this total, 18 promising species were considered important by the inhabitants of the Jesús district, according to their Use Value Index (IVU).

Since their origins, vascular land plants have coexisted with a wide variety of bacteria and fungi. When insects appeared, they also maintained a close relationship with them, taking on a big role with the arrival of flowering plants in the early Cretaceous period. The different evolutionary processes have led to the development of a series of interspecific interactions; some of them beneficial for both parties, such as the various pollination mechanisms throu- gh insects in many plant species. At the same time, other types of interactions have emerged with species capable of producing severe diseases in different sections of the plant. This evolutionary pressure with the inability of a defense offered by locomotion, and the lack of a defense system based on antibodies, have been the main responsible for the appearance of com- plex defense mechanisms in plants, many times rapid and effective against aggressive species, and sometimes not. The pathologies manifestation in plants depends on complex interactions between host-pathogen, which is an indicator of joint evolution. Thus, the exquisite regula- tion of aggression/defense mechanisms and the corresponding selectivity recognizing external aggressors, may explain the distinct sensitivity of various species or even different varieties within the same species. For some time now, researchers have shown great interest in cer- tain proteins synthesized by a plant when attacked by a pathogenic microorganism. Since they appear in pathological conditions, they have been named Pathogenesis-related (PR) proteins.

In the Wildlife Refuge Villa Swamps located in the central coast on an area of 263.27 ha, there were 211 species of birds of which officially 19 species are categorized as threatened. The current state of the conservation of threatened bird species, the range of dis- tribution and the trend of relationships are described, as well as the importance of the ha- bits of the Villa Swamps as a place of refuge and conservation of the species in Peru.
