Resumen
The book After-dinner Declarations published in 2006 is a selection of five speeches pronounced by Nicanor Parra between 1991 and 1997. This article set out into reading those texts as the Literary Testament of his author and the antipoetic response to “canonization” process it would symbolise the awards and ceremonies they were conceived for. In order to it, this study considers a corpus beyond the one established by the edition of 2006 and analyses Literary Testament as a traditional writing whose older samples go back into and old tradition.

Resumen
Taking into account the different interpretative frameworks that have been proposed for a critical approach to the emergence of the historical fiction in the latest Latin-American narrative, the following article proposes a set of reading keys for the novel El entenado (1983), by Juan José Saer, paying attention, in a special way, to the metafictional and intertextual character of the novel, as common features to all the interpretive programs that will be considered.

Resumen
Published in 1982, the testimonio Fire from the Mountain (La montaña es más que una inmensa estepa verde) by Omar Cabezas continues to generate interest in the field of Latin American literature, particularly amongst critics dedicated to the testimonio and post-testimonio. Considered one of the fundamental works of contemporary testimonio, Fire from the Mountain narrates the political and ideological coming of age of Cabezas during the years preceding the Sandinista revolution (1977-1979) in Nicaragua, the origins of his relationship with the Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional (FSLN), and his efforts in the struggle against the dictatorship of Anastasio Somoza. Throughout the text there are frequent references to his own faith, Catholicism, and God as he comes to terms with the plight of the Nicaragua people and considers the moral imperative of the revolution to depose Somoza. Our intention is to demonstrate that, in Fire from the Mountain, Cabezas implicitly considers the influence of his faith, Catholicism, and God on the revolutionary struggle. We will first contextualize our study within discussions on the Latin American testimonio and proceed to frame our study of Fire from the Mountain within a liberational perspective that references liberation theology as our theoretical touchstone.

Resumen
This paper is divided into two sections; in the first, the use of two genres –originally foreign to canonical literature– is analyzed in the novel Operación Masacre (1957) by the Argentine writer Rodolfo Walsh: the so-called “non-fiction” and the police genre. The denunciation project based on its production context –Argentina after Revolución Libertadora (1955)– conditions the use of these genres due to their suitability to link fiction and political reality. But the complaint does not stay the same throughout the different editions of the book, the evolution of which is in line with other socio-political changes in the country. Specifically, the approach of the left to Peronism generates an attraction in intellectuals who, like Walsh, see in Perón’s doctrine a political resistance against the injustices of the State. For this reason, in the second part of the work, this evolution is examined in Operación Masacre’s paratexts since they reveal Walsh’s approach to Peronism and give a new meaning to the denunciation of his novel.

Resumen
This paper concentrates on the autofiction in drama, which is a very peculiar procedure much distinct of the autofiction in the novel. This is due to the scenic representation, the actor’s presence, and other intrinsic characteristics of the dramatic genre, making that the reader or the spectator views the border between fiction and reality in a very particular way. Regarding the character Vicente, present on three plays of the Brazilian playwright Jorge Andrade and who we focus on our discussion, we propose to consider it as an autofictional character, despite its status of autobiographical by the criticism and by the author himself.

Resumen
The history of Russian-American relations, especially in the past two centuries, shows the permanent tension between the two countries along with the limitations of cooperation and mutual understanding. In this framework, this article investigates whether the complicated relations between the United States and China in the Trump era are a factor that influences modern Russian-American relations. For this purpose, a documentary investigation was carried out, concluding that China affects the context of Russian-American relations, although it is not an obstacle or an engine for bilateral dialogue, it does exert significant influence by pressing Moscow to assume a more active position in the formation of a new world order.
