ABSTRACT: Tomato is one of the main crops affected by the damage of Bemisia tabaci (Hemipetra: Aleyrodide), causing damage and disease. This pest is responsible for large losses in this crop and also in greenhouse. Whiteflies are pests of various crops that cause reduction in fruit yield and quality. Thus, the objective of this work was to know the influence of the whitefly Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) on the resistance of two tomato varieties (Santa clara and carolina) in two environments. The work was conducted in a greenhouse at the State University of. Alagoas - UNEAL, Campus I in the city of Arapiraca AL. The research period was from August 2017 to July 2018. The experiment was set up in two tomato varieties, Carolina and Santa clara distributed in 5 kg pots. The experimental design was completely randomized with ten replications. More heterogeneous and more dispersed values were obtained in relation to the number of nymphs in the two varieties, in Carolina standard density (16.83 ± 11.90), in Santa variety clear standard density (97.84 ± 69.19). Thus, it can be concluded that the Carolina variety showed greater resistance to the population dynamics of whiteflies in vegetative and reproductive development represented by the data found.

Resumen
ABSTRACT: Cowpea is a grain widely consumed in Brazil, especially in the North and Northeast. The objective of this study was to know the diversity indexes of entomofauna in cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) crop using colored traps. The study was carried out in a cowpea crop in the wild region of Alagoas from July 2017 to August 2018. The experimental design was completely randomized with six treatments (A, yellow - PET trap, B, blue - PET trap, C, PET trap - white, D, PET trap - green, E, PET trap - red and F, PET trap - without color) and five repetitions (collections). The insects were collected weekly, after collected, were stored in pots containing 70% alcohol, their screening and identification were performed in the laboratory of the State University of Alagoas. The analysis of the diversity indices of the collected insect families was acquired through the DivEs software, which verified the indices, diversity (Shannon-Wiener, Brillouin and Menhinick), richness (Margalef and Chao 1), dominance (Simpson and Berger- Parker), and equity or evenness (Pielou). With the obtained results, it was found the presence of 9,630 insects in cowpea crop, represented by six orders and distributed in 30 families. Coleoptera (12) families, Diptera (10), Hemiptera (3), Hymenoptera (1), Lepidoptera (3) and Mantodea (1). Therefore, through the diversity indices obtained in this study, the use of colored PET traps in cowpea culture was efficient to know the insect diversity of this crop.

Resumen
Maricá (Mimosa bimucronata (D.C.) O. Kuntze.) is a species that presents great importance in reforestation programs, in the recovery of permanent preservation areas, landscaping projects and is considered soil improver, being recommended for erosion and for planting on flooded land. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the viability of the seeds of M. bimucronata by the tetrazolium test and to determine the crude oil content and the percentage composition of fatty acids. The experiments were conducted at the Plant Propagation Laboratory of the Agricultural Sciences Center (CECA) of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL), located in the municipality of Rio Largo, Alagoas, Brazil. The obtained data submitted to the analysis of variance and the comparison between the means of viable seeds for each of the combinations in the tetrazolium test were performed by the Dunnett test at 5%. The concentration of 0.075% tetrazolium salt for two hours at 35 °C is an efficient combination for evaluating the viability of M. bimucronata seeds. The oil content was 2.75%, with unsaturated fatty acids prevailing (63.8%).

ABSTRACT: The city of Olho d'Água das Flores, located in the Alagoas backlands, as well as many cities in Brazil, is classified as a small town, and its population uses and needs the most varied services and trade offered in the city. Given this, this paper aimed to analyze the process of trade diversification in the city of Olho d'Água das Flores through the analysis of spatial fixes, in order to provide an opportunity to approach the understanding of another scale of analysis, where inequalities , processes and agents that contribute to the formation of singular and articulated spaces in global logics. For this, a series of data / information was collected through field observations, questionnaires regarding trade and its development and interviews, along with a literature review about the importance of small towns, commerce and local cities. From this, it was possible to obtain as graphical results related to the view of merchants and consumers about small towns and commerce in general. In addition, a checklist of banking data was also compared, food and communication services in the cities of Olho d'Água das Flores and Santana do Ipanema.

Resumen
ABSTRACT: Environmental Education can be understood as any educational action that contributes to the formation of citizens aware of the preservation of the environment. In schools, Environmental Education contributes to the formation of students so that they can learn to love, respect and practice actions aimed at environmental conservation. From this perspective, this study was carried out with the objective of knowing the teachers' perception about the importance of the approach on Environmental Education in two public schools in the municipality of Jaramataia – AL. Data were obtained through the application of a semistructured questionnaire to ten teachers from different disciplines of the two educational institutions. The research was carried out in three stages: in the first, a pre-evaluative visit was made to the schools for recognition and presentation of the faculty of the same; in the second, the questionnaires were applied; and in the third stage, the data collected were analyzed. The results verified in this study indicate that teachers recognize Environmental Education as a fundamental issue to be worked in the classroom, together with their students, but teachers restrict the concept of this subject only to the perspective of environmental conservation and awareness from the students. In addition, from the answers given by the teachers interviewed, it is noticed that the applicability of EE in schools is compromised by a series of difficulties and challenges that often go beyond the purely academic scope, while public management policies do not provide enough subsidy for both schools and their teachers to feel prepared to work on this subject, so that they contemplate the realities of the learners and the environment they are part of.

The research sought to discuss the impacts that transgenic foods bring to the population as a result of their positive and negative effects, as well as to study the supply of these foods between global and local scales, with emphasis on Batalha-Alagoas. Bartolomé (2001) discusses the development of allergies resulting from the consumption of these products. The extensive use of viruses and bacteria with high recombinant potential can create new pathogenic strains and new diseases. This research has the character of bibliographic prospecting, associated with the realization of a field stage that took place in the city's markets. Associating these sources, maps and tables were produced to analyze the results. It has been noted that the supply and consumption of genetically modified food on a world scale is enormous, as well as proportionally on the local scale, causing people to consume more genetically modified food than organic food because of its practicality and cost.
