Resumen
The adjustment of Ecuador's national Physical Education 2016 curriculum requires teachers to have a new professional profile in line with the new approaches and curricular content. The objective of this research was to present a proposal for contextualization in order to foster meaningful learning among students; it was based on the evaluation of teachers' assessments of the contents and the adaptation of active methodologies. The research was developed under the qualitative descriptive model. The population was 22 physical education teachers from seven private schools in Quito. The interview technique was applied with an instrument validated by the judgment of seven experts in a single circulation. The items of the questionnaire referred to the need to contextualize curricular content, the adaptation of active methodological strategies, and teacher alignment to curricular adjustment in order for learning to be meaningful. This work contributed with a curricular proposal developed with the intention of contextualizing and interpreting the elements of the skills with performance criteria of the Physical Education curriculum, which will facilitate the application of active methodologies that guarantee that learning is meaningful and that the exit profile of the Ecuadorian high school graduate is reached, generating in the student a high degree of autonomy, which allows him/her to replicate the practice of physical activity at any time in his/her life.

Resumen
The present work had the objective of characterizing the current situation of the Man water polo school team athletes of the EIDE (School of Sport base formation) of Pinar del Río, in relation to the special strength in water, in order to give an answer to one of the technological demands that affects the performance in this sport. By means of empirical methods such as observation, it was found that the athletes, after the second half of the game, could not keep the same performance as in the first two, and a great physical wear was noticed in them, which responds to the lack of special strength in water to support the endurance to the aquatic environment and the struggle with the opponent. Surveys were applied to the coaches, which reflected that there are deficiencies in the planning of the training sessions, affecting the optimal preparation of the special strength in water. The review of the Integral Program of Preparation of the athlete (2016) was carried out, not finding specific methodological actions for the work of the special strength in water as a guide for the work of the trainers in the process of training of this capacity, other documents that are used by the trainers were also reviewed. Measurements were made to determine the level of special strength in water of these school athletes. The use of theoretical methods such as historical-logical, inductive-deductive, analysis-synthesis, and statistical-mathematical methods, specifically descriptive statistics, were also part of this study.

Resumen
Physical Education is one of the disciplines of the curriculum that generates more confusion in students of the Preschool Education career of the University of Pinar del Río, because this career has as its objective the integral educational attention to early childhood, so they teach all the areas of the curriculum in children's institutions, such is the case of Physical Education. This discipline belongs to the general formation cycle, it is located in the first and second year of the career and later in the third and fourth year within the particular didactics, they receive the Physical Education and its didactics, those responsible for its direction, given the existing imprecision at present, which contributes to its inadequate conception in the pedagogic practice needs to achieve a new culture of learning of the Physical Education with the purpose of offering to the future educator a panoramic vision of his own task in his work performance, so that it satisfies the social demands. The situation previously exposed reveals the need to develop the present work that has as objective to propose conditioners for the Physical Education in the Preschool Education career. Based on the dialectical materialist method, theoretical methods are used: the historical-logical, the modeling, the systemic-structural-functional; as well as the empirical methods, the survey, the interview and the observation to classes. As a result, it is possible to incorporate a group of conditioning factors to improve Physical Education.

Resumen
The process of school sports initiation in volleyball is a current issue in the field of scientific-educational research, which analyzed in relation to the context and the time in which it takes place, needs to enrich its contents from new pedagogical perspectives. The objective of this work is to characterize the process of school sports initiation of volleyball in the "Ormani Arenado LLonch" EIDE in Pinar del Río. To achieve this goal, methods of the theoretical level (historical-logical, inductive-deductive, modeling, analytical-synthetic) and of the empirical level (documentary review, observation, surveys, interviews) were used to delimit the essences of the object and to scientifically organize the obtaining of the research results. Among the results, there is the systematization carried out that allowed to determine tendencies in the development of the object, to define it and to establish three dimensions for its study (cognitive-procedural, management of the methodological work and axiological) with its respective definitions, to specify strengths and weaknesses that characterize it in the sport institution of reference, as well as the integration of results of the diagnosis in the establishment of its regularities. It is stated that the dimensions of the analyzed variable, in its current state, present affected aspects, understood as challenges that deserve to be treated by the High Performance Methodological Department.

Resumen
Bearing in mind the importance of pitching and its weight for success in the baseball game, the objective of this work is focused on the analysis of the effectiveness in the strike zone of the pitchers of the Pinar del Río baseball team, first category, participants in the National Series. For this, we worked with a population made up of the 13 pitchers that make up the pitching staff and the two coaches responsible for preparing them in that team, for which scientific methods and techniques were used, such as the analysis of the statistics of each one. of games as well as observation, survey and interview. The analysis of the results obtained reveals that 61.5 % of the team's pitchers, mainly the youngest, have problems with the control of the pitches in the strike zone, outlining a series of insufficiencies related to the mastery of mechanics of pitching, the scarce repertoire of pitches, together with a low command over them, among other elements related to the preparation. These results, together with the systematic control and analysis of the work of the pitchers during the games, constitute important elements to draw up more efficient strategies in the preparation of these athletes, tempered by their individual characteristics and inadequacies, in order to achieve greater effectiveness of the same and therefore exceed the team's competitive results.

Resumen
In boxing, precise actions are required in a very short period of time because, to the extent that the technical action in the attacks is faster, it makes it impossible to defend and counterattack efficiently during the fight. The objective of this work is to improve the technical preparation process in boxing from sports training, with emphasis on the execution of hook blows in the pioneer category boxers who train in the "Giraldo Córdova Cardín" boxing gym in Pinar del Río. It was based on the diagnosis of the state of this technical element, in the sample of ten athletes, in which the observation was applied to 24 training sessions, as well as an interview with the four boxing trainers who work with this category in that gym. A series of weaknesses were found when working with this technique in the training unit. As a final result, in order to make possible the correction of the existing deficiencies, a methodology containing a cognitive and an instrumental apparatus is implemented, methodological from the exercises that are presented and demonstrated to the coaches and the results in the competitions of the cycle 2019-2020 that show the quota of gain for the coaches and athletes.

Resumen
Evidence-based practice is a useful and necessary tool for sports science. The experience of evidence-based medical science could be useful for the implementation of this new approach. Evidence-based practices in sport sciences could also affect, in addition to the fields of training practice, such as management, legislation and education. This will allow decision making to be based on the best available scientific evidence. This review summarises approaches and models of how to apply evidence-based practice in sport science. It also shares a five-step approach with the aim of providing a practical tool. Certain conditions require starting with the practice of evidence. First, the scientific literature must answer the question. Access to scientific databases, knowing how to walk through the jungle of knowledge, mastery of English (since most papers are published in English) is mandatory. A commitment by sport science stakeholders to evidence-based practice and the removal of barriers to implementation would be a promising approach to evidence-based practice in sport science in a short period of time.

Resumen
The essay contributes to the discussion on the new offer of engineering careers in management areas in the technological higher education subsystem. From the documentary analysis, the background of these programs is discussed and a curricular comparison of these is made with the bachelor’s degree programs in Management, with wide social recognition by employers and society. It is concluded that there are no new needs in the labor field to justify the creation of this type of careers because, in curricular terms and in professional practice, they do not differ significantly with the traditional management program.

Resumen
The aim of this study was to identify and comprehend the emerging educational processes from the practice of Fútbol Callejero (FC) in two different interventions, within non-school context and without school context. Intervention-1 (i-1) occurred together with the partnership between the socio-educational projects "Experiences in Diversified Leisure Activities" (VADL) and "More than Football" (MQF), carried out with children and adolescents from 6 to 14 years of age, and Intervention-2 (i-2) was developed with a Physical Education class from the 4th grade of Elementary School of the State of São Paulo Public System with students from 9 to 10 years of age. We emphasize that FC was designed and created in Argentina and implies the development of football matches played in three periods; mixed team composition (boys and girls); absence of referees; point attribution based on the pillars Respect, Companionship and Solidarity. We are guided by qualitative research based on phenomenology. We believe that FC is an educational practice with the potential to teach us to be better, to reflect critically about our own action with others and with the world, challenging and inviting us to protagonism, collective construction and mobilization for a welcoming, inclusive and solidarity, in which dialogicity is the basis of relationships.
