Resumen
In this document we present an analysis of the shaping of the field of research in the teaching of history, where we can locate three major trends. In the first one of them, psychology permeated the explanations and proposals. In the second one, researchers proposed bringing historical knowledge into the classroom by imitating the procedures of historians, mediated by the didactics, and were also interested in understanding why the reforms and proposals were not made effective in the school. Finally, at present we observe a bifurcation between historical education, whose nucleus of interest is in the development of historical thought considering local contexts, and research in history teaching that proposes inscribing the production of this knowledge within the framework of the social science debates.

Resumen
The rapid spread of COVID-19 has triggered a worldwide epidemic emergency which is an international concern that poses a number of challenges to the physical and mental health of humans across the globe. Like businesses and universities, schools around the world have been closed and children must remain at home during this pandemic. However, social isolation could have a negative impact on young children’s wellbeing if it is not addressed adequately. Social epidemiology research shows that the comorbidity of physical illnesses and mental disorders is higher especially in the absence of positive social relationships. Psychological studies show that social isolation could trigger several complications including emotional disturbance, sleep disorders, depressive syndromes, anxiety and stress. However, little is known about the psychological impact of social isolation during COVID -19 on young children’s mental health and there are still no specific guidelines regarding effective psychological strategies that could support children’s wellbeing. Drawing on existing research on social isolation, this review aims to synthesise previous literature to explore the negative impact of social isolation in young children and offer a comprehensive set of evidence-informed recommendations for parents and professionals to safeguard the mental health of young children currently on lockdown across the globe.

Resumen
This study was carried out with four fifth grade students from Yahualica, Jalisco, in the context of the pandemic caused by Covid-19. Feedback is assumed in this paper to be one of the most powerful tools for learning and educational achievement. The research is based on the concept of feedback as a perspective of Visible Learning and Teaching proposed by Hattie (Hattie, Gan, 2011), and Hattie & Timperley’s Feedback model (2007). The methodological horizon used for this study corresponds to a qualitative perspective (Creswell, 2012) using a case study (Stake, 1999). The research method used participant observation (Creswell, 2012), as well as a semi-structured interview (Kvale, 2011) to collect qualitative data from the students, who interacted with an application for solving fractional problems. For the data analysis, the double coding cycle proposed by Saldaña (2009) was used. As a result of our research, we concluded that students seek feedback to find improvement procedures, and for it to be used there must be an adequate learning environment where error is seen as an opportunity to learn.

Resumen
This article describes who the students of the Universidad Pedagógica Veracruzana are and how they are going through the health emergency derived from COVID-19, in order to account for their strategies, motivations and practices during the lockdown. We conducted a series of surveys, observation records and semi-structured interviews with a sample of a total of 82 students from the institution at the bachelor’s degree, master’s and doctoral levels, using a multi-method approach. Based on the data obtained, we carried out a post-decision type policy analysis with the aim of pointing out the university’s performance as a result of our findings with its students, one of which was that, although the university’s response was immediate, it did not take into account the students’ personal and professional contexts: apparently, there was only a sort of overlapping of the curricular contents to be addressed, since due to the lack of an active institutional platform the teachers had to resort to the use of technological tools such as Zoom, Meet, Skype, and edmodo, among others.

Resumen
The COVID 19 pandemic forced the Mexican National Education System to abruptly suspend face-to-face classes and use alternative educational activities to continue teaching. Most institutions responded reactively because very few have plans for academic continuity. This caused some prestigious Mexican organizations to create virtual forums and seminars to analyze the educational problems posed by this health contingency and the challenges they would face in the post-COVID 19 period. A meta-synthesis was carried out regarding the educational narrative developed by the specialists of five Mexican organizations specialized in education and educational technology. 81 official websites of Higher Education Institutions and 31 virtual events (forums and seminars), including approximately 3,564 minutes of recording, were reviewed. The findings suggest that there is broad consensus on analyzing the educative effects of this contingency from a chronological point of view: before, beginning, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. It was concluded that the health contingency did not cause new educational problems, but rather underlined previously existing inequality problems and educational deficiencies. However, we detected the need to have parents participate in the design of academic continuity plans as well as public policies.

Resumen
Education in times of crisis is due to various causes, among them the sanitary. The world is currently experiencing a coronavirus pandemic that has led educational institutions to suspend face-to-face classes in most of the world. In this context, our aim was to identify the virtual learning environments (VLE) that teachers and students of higher education have resorted to, revealing the correlations between these environments and educational practices. The Virtual Educational Practices Questionnaire for COVID-19 was applied to 425 students from various universities, and the main finding was that the teachers resorted to the use of institutional virtual platforms, as well as instant mobile messaging and complementary asynchronous means of personal communication. Support from institutional VAS correlated with feedback to students, so they can be considered effective. These results allow us to recognize that some formal VAS have excelled, and other informal or personal means of communication have had a lesser impact on educational task support.

Resumen
The study reviews the component environment of the Virtual Education Orgware (VEO) in Latin America and the Caribbean during the first months of the coronavirus disease pandemic (Covid-19). Focused on digital competence and the effect on virtuality, it views the teacher as the starting point. The grounded theory methodological approach allows this study to turn the structure of concepts related to the phenomenon into variables. Likewise, the dimensions of the TPACK model become processes, to conclude that the substantiveness of VEO lies in the integration, assurance and interaction permeated by pedagogical, socioeconomic and technological conditions. The results reveal that the digital competence of teachers, if they have it, is not enough to carry out the educational process virtually, but that digital pedagogical competence is required in the face of a second crisis caused by the increase in the use of the Internet and the unequal rate of connectivity for some segments of the population.

Resumen
A company is exposed to different types of financial risk (systematic and non-systematic risks). This research focuses on analyzing the insolvency, market and liquidity risks of the Textile Sector of Ecuador in the period 2007-2018. Regarding the methodology, a non-experimental study was carried out with a quantitative approach. The Superintendence of Companies, Securities and Insurance was used as a source of information; also scientific information on financial risk and the textile sector in Ecuador was analyzed. In the insolvency risk analysis, through the methodologies of Altman and Ohlson, it was determined that the riskiest years are 2016 and 2018: Altman score of 5,545 and 5,690 respectively, and a percentage of insolvency risk of 6,40% and 7,46% in the same years. In the market risk analysis, the Beta coefficient for the textile sector was 1,2. In addition, microenterprises have a higher level of liquidity risk, with 57,06%. Determining the financial risk of a company is an important tool for making decisions and helps to have a better vision of the fulfillment of the proposed objectives.

Resumen
The purpose of this research was a comparative analysis of the human talent management in three manufacturing sectors of the city Cuenca-Ecuador. According to the International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC), these were: meat processing and preservation (C1010), clothing manufacturing (C14), except leather garments (C1410) and the beverage manufacturing sector (C11). To achieve this, it began with a bibliographic review of human talent, through the Publish or Perish tool; similar studies carried out in Colombia were considered, as well as an evaluation tool on the subject in question. The methodological orientation was descriptive and explanatory. The results of the study showed that the main strategies used in the companies evaluated were the existence of personnel selection and hiring processes, definition of profiles for positions and execution of induction processes for new personnel. Nevertheless, the absence of career plans was the common problem for all organizations. Finally, it was concluded that the sector that presented the best management of human talent was the beverage one; while the clothing manufacturing sector recorded the lowest performance.
