Resumen
A current difficulty within critical theory is that Habermas has had recourse to elements such as meaning, solidarity and motivation present in religion, as he noticed the lack of these aspects in modernity. The communicative disposition seems to require more than fulfilling a procedure. But those very meanings and motivations – with their beliefs and symbolic values – often appear as a stumbling block, since they could also mean a denial to admit secular perspectives. This particular question reveals a transversal problem: the problem of negation as a relevant aspect for a dialogue. This essay researches how negation not only implies a rejection but also to admit a certain kind of communicative demand, which the practice of recognition would be able to address. First, this paper reconstructs the kind of limit that negation implies, paying attention to communitarian positions. Second, it shows how two diverse philosophies, such as Habermas’ and the levinasian phenomenology, find a limit in the demand of recognition of the other showed in denial. Finally, an integrating answer to those questions will be offered with Honneth’s understanding of recognition.

Resumen
This article argues that the critical and emancipatory aspect of the Hegelian notion of freedom needs more research and elaboration. The process by means of which individuals as well as communities become free can only be fully understood if we take into account the sensuous, somatic, and passionate dimension. Human freedom implied not only activity, but at the same time moments of passivity. The argument unfolds in three steps: a reconstruction of the idea of social freedom; a revision of Adorno’s argument against the Kantian conception of autonomy, applied to Hegel’s notion of social freedom and highlighting the impulsive, passionate concepts of freedom and thus reinforcing what can be considered its negative nature; and the revision of some passages of James Baldwin’s novel Another Country.

Resumen
This article proposes to think the present by refunctioning elements of some theories of fascism advanced in the twentieth century, from Bloch and Bataille to Adorno, Pasolini, Sartre and Banaji. Today, we are confronted with fascisms devoid either of mass movements that support them or of a revolutionary antagonist whom they confront. Contemporary or “late” fascism are rather best captured as projects that draw on racial fantasies of national rebirth, accompanied by a frenetic circulation of pseudo-classist discourses. The objective of these notes is to introduce an analysis of some of the elementary aspects of the current manifestations of fascism as a conservative politics of antagonistic reproduction, so as to rethink what a collective politics means today.

Resumen
Zika virus spreads to people primarily through the bite of an infected Aedes aegypti species mosquito. But it Zika can also be passed through sex from an infected to his or her sex partners and it can be spread from a pregnant woman to her fetus. Zika continues to spreading geographically to areas where competent vectors are present. Although a decline in cases of Zika virus infection has been reported in some countries, or in some parts of countries, vigilance needs to remain high. In this work, we present two mathematical models for the Zika diffusion by using (1) ordinary differential equations with exposed state and, (2) ordinary differential equations with delay (discrete), which is the time it takes mosquitoes to develop the virus. We make a comparison between the two modeling variants. Computational simulations is performed for Santa Ana, which is that is prone to develop the epidemic in an endemic manner.

Resumen
This paper investigates the stability of discrete-time Markov jump linear system of second-order, this type of system is similar to the family of discrete-time Markov jump linear system it is known in classical literature as MJLS. We present some consistent stability definitions for the system, where these types of stability are equivalent as long as the state space Markov chain is finite. In addition, a computational test is presented to analyze the stability of the system. The result is a generalization of classical theory, this implies a contribution to the theory.

Resumen
In the ecological literature, the interference (self-interference) or competition among predators to effect the harvesting of their prey has been modeled by different mathematical formulations. In this work, we will establish the dynamical properties of the Leslie-Gower type predation model, in which is incorporated one of these form, described by the function b (y) = yalfa , with 0 < alfa < 1.The main difficulty of the analysis is due to this function is not differentiable for y = 0, and the Jacobian matrix is not defined in the equilibrium points over the horizontal axis (x-axis).Previously, we showed a summary with the fundamental properties of the Leslie-Gower type model, in order to carry out an adequate comparative analysis with models where self-interference between predators is incorporated. To reinforce our results, some numerical simulations are shown.
