This essay entitled: Privatization against public spaces, has the purpose of disclosing the negative impacts produced by a model of privatization of the common goods of the Central American peoples. This model derives from the capitalist system imposed by the great powers through the mechanism of immoral, illegal and illegitimate indebtedness, through which they privatize and plunder the natural and financial resources of the countries, leaving the people without water, food, education, housing and forcing them to leave their own land as a result of hunger and insecurity. This is the reality of the present Central American and in representation of the Network of Community Environmentalists of El Salvador. (RACDES) and the Jubileo Sur / Américas Network, I present these analyzes in the space of the XII Central American Congress of Anthropology held at the headquarters of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua. This essay addresses some efforts of the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua in the development of programs and projects that today benefit thousands of Nicaraguan citizens with free and quality higher education. From this approach, we will examine the government strategies that have made many students’ dreams come true, forming them professionally from the virtual modality, thus contributing to the economic development of their families and their country. Education is a right that every human being must possess, without any social, political or religious exclusion. Education is a responsibility of all governments in the world and they must ensure a free and inclusive education.

This article deals with the methodology for the study of “Radio Journalism and Freedom of Expression in the Managua region, in the period 1936-1979”, as part of the author’s thesis research as part of the Doctorate in History with a Mention in Studies Regional and Local Transdisciplinary. The object of study will be analyzed from the oral history approach as a method, methodology and as a technique to understand how the understanding of the right to freedom of expression evolved in three stations in the Managua region (Radio La Voz de la América Central, World Radio and Radio Corporation) in a context marked by the rise, heyday and overthrow of the Somocista dictatorship. This is intended to help recover the perceptions, voices and glances from the memory of both journalists and radio workers as well as the elderly who participated in their capacity as listeners. The result of the investigation is a process of historical reconstruction of these events related to political subjectivities and from the people who were directly involved in these processes, to rescue the journey lived through the oral story as a source of that lived past.

Ethnography is aided by different disciplines of the social sciences and re-adapted to an anthropological approach, with the main objective of going “beyond the classic standards of interviews and observation” (Ruiz Chow, 2019, p. 67) of so that it is specifically designed so that the protagonists are included and assume a participatory role in the investigation, being themselves the ones who build and interpret the social phenomena in their contexts, taking into account that violence takes on different meanings and expressions according to the cultural context in which we enter as social researchers. It is for this reason that, transdisciplinary ethnography becomes a key method to address issues such as violence, where the researcher requires creative strategies to face different situations, interpretations and possible narratives in the contexts where it flows. This article aims to detail the different techniques applied in 3 different contexts and moments of work: Barrio Hilario Sánchez, Villa Guadalupe and Training Center “Youth”.

The study of public policies has traditionally been a field of study of political science. Using as  starting point the theoretical-methodological proposal of the anthropology of public action proposed by Rodríguez Castillo, in which public policies become understood as an object of culture, a new fertile field is opened to enter this theme starting of anthropological studies. Based on this proposal, an investigation has been carried out on the Public Security apparatus in El Salvador and another on the Cultural Policy of the University of El Salvador. This approach positioned researchers in a different ethnographic reality that necessarily led to the application of a specific methodology for the study of public action.

Corn silage is widely used due to its nutritional quality, dry matter production per ha-1 and good fermentative standard. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of silage time on fermentation pattern, nutritional quality, losses and aerobic stability of corn (Zea mays) silages. A completely randomized experimental design was used, with four treatments (0; 12; 24 and 48h for ensilage after forage cutting) and five replications. After 30 days of fermentation, losses by effluents, losses by gases and recovery of dry matter were determined. For the stability test, approximately 2kg of silage was removed from each experimental unit and added in 4 liter plastic containers, measured at temperature (2 hours interval), pH and electrical conductivity (6 hours interval). the determination of ammonia nitrogen, buffering capacity and carbon dioxide. Chemical composition was evaluated for dry matter, mineral matter, ether extract, crude protein, organic matter, neutral detergent fiber and acid, total carbohydrates, non-fibrous carbohydrates, neutral detergent insoluble protein and hemicellulose. All results underwent regression testing at 5% probability. The ensiling period did not influence the fermentative losses for gas losses and dry matter recovery. The chemical standard of silage had no change for crude protein content with averages of 84.60g; 78.26g; 82.58g and 74.22g, respectively for treatments 0h; 12pm; 24h and 48h. Silage time after cutting alters carbon production dynamics, increases ammonia nitrogen content, reduces buffering capacity and decreases silage stability.

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to analyze the role of native and exotic species in the local pharmacopoeia of a rural community in the municipality of Canapi in the state of Alagoas, relating the data obtained with the Ecological Appearance and Diversification Hypothesis, considering that these evidence the insertion process. of medicinal plants in human populations. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the residents of the community, using the snowball technique, free list and direct observation, with the aid of Anthopac and Bioestat programs for data analysis. It has been realized that exotic and native species play a key role for local pharmacopoeia, as many individuals rely on or prefer them to cure disease. However, exotic species are being used in greater quantity (p) = 0.041. It was also possible to realize that the Ecological Appearance Hypothesis may explain the use of plants in the local pharmacopoeia (p) = 0.0413, since community residents categorize them as more important and use more “non-apparent” species. However, the Diversification Hypothesis would not explain the use of local pharmacopoeia medicinal plants, (p) = 0.1228, since there are no gaps filled exclusively by exotic species in curing diseases. The data from this study underlines the importance of local pharmacopoeias in the lives of many individuals, presenting the community with a great local and cultural knowledge that must be preserved and valued, as well as contributing to the understanding of studies that address the popular criterion of plant use. medicinal products in human populations.
