The discipline of nursing, over time has managed to develop around research and the use of its own theories, being a discipline supported theoretically and empirically. Likewise, Nursing students, during their undergraduate training, acquire technical and clinical reasoning competencies resulting in very practical learning experiences for the development of their own skills. In this context, a relationship between the teaching staf and the student body is generated, where emotions, procedures, humanization and a learning environment complemented with the theory are compromised. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to relect on the importance of applying nursing theories to students who attend clinical practice, especially using their resources in the ield of assessment. From this, it is proposed to carry out an instrument to support the development of competences in the practical area, based on the Model Theory and Role Modeling, whose purpose is that students become subjects of care for the teaching staf, thus contributing to their learning processes.

Aim: Identify in literature the application of models and theories of nursing in high complexity units. Methodology: search in scientiic literature database: Web of Science, Scopus, CINAHL complete, Pubmed and Scielo, through “theories of nursing”, “critical care” in English and “teorías de enfermería”, “cuidado crítico” Spanish descriptors. 286 articles were selected initially, excluding 150 for not fulilling the selection criteria. 66 abstracts were read and 11 articles were inally selected, where the analysis was focused on the study of the application of models and theories. Results: it was revealed that there are studies where models and theories are applied in some care instances, however, there are very few instances that refer to their use in critical care units, just the theories of the Basic Human Needs of Horta, the model of Roy's Adaptation and Meleis's theory of transitions were applied in critical contexts. Conclusion: the review carried out allows to show the eforts for the clinical and research use of models and theories in highly complex units. However, there is also a large gap between clinical practice and application of nursing models and theories in Chile.

Nicolás Dazeo was the most important builder businessman of Mar del Plata during the twentieth century, concentrating for decades a great portion of the private and public works in the area. His performance as a businessman shows an individual course of quick growth and social promotion, in a historical context of strong dynamism of the tourist demand for lodging in the most important seaside resort of Argentina. A virtuous cycle that lasted somewhat longer than thirty years, consolidated several fortunes of family enterprises of the construction field. Dazeo became, for years, a market leader, integrating a corporation. The following generation could not continue with this success, breaking the company in the nineties, already in a recessive context. The aim of the article is to analyze a key case in order to understand the strategies of family enterprises in the construction field, a particular industry we know very little about. At the same time, it allows us to think about the logic of action and growth possibilities of small and medium businesses in the long term. In a very unstable Argentine economy with real uncertainty and a great variability of rules in any activity, it is precisely the performance of Nicolás Dazeo SA, from the mid-forties through the nineties, in the last century, that provides elements to rethink history of family capitalism in our country ARK: http://id.caicyt.gov.ar/ark:/s25458299/5h6xeu3bl

Based on city council documents, press archives and oral testimonies, this analysis explores the state-funded housing project Villa Olímpica (now the Población Exequiel González Cortés). The project was designed to accommodate members of the Chilean middle classes and was located in eastern Santiago in the district of Ñuñoa. The combined issues of housing, personal savings and education are key to the evolution of housing projects subsidized by the then Corporación de la Vivienda (Housing Corporation, CORVI) within the framework of national capitalism. These elements also help to shed light on the evolution of middle-class lifestyles or modes of living, as it was these groups who benefitted most from such schemes thanks to the gentrifying aspect of State policy that was applied to certain housing projects. The urban development of particular sectors of Santiago, including the district of Ñuñoa, can be seen to have occurred in parallel to the flourishing of the middle classes. This was due in part to the production of modern urban spaces to which these sectors of society were particularly attracted, but was also driven by an increase in the social value of home ownership, an aspiration central to the middle-class experience, along with neighborhood life in such sectors. Built during the 1960s, the Villa Olímpica is not only iconic, but crucial to understanding the subjectivities and evolution of space and middle-class housing in Chile.
