The aim of the article is to analyze the tense and conflictive process of legitimizing intangible cultural heritage (ICP) in order to enhance its value, which, in Mexico, goes through a dispute between the intention of obtaining the maximum commercial use and the best way to protect it. This leads to a political arena in which the different ways of conceiving the management of the ICP and what is expected of it struggle. Frequently, a collision between the interests that move the community to participate and the powers that be motivated by profit. Therefore, the defense of the PCI has to resolve the contradictions between the logic of cultural valuation and the economic valuation. We review how this dispute has unfolded in some communities and localities in Mexico regarding asset activation. Our report illustrates the processes of patrimonialization - the process of construction of the meaning and meaning of the cultural manifestations of the people. We also show various conjugations of the political, economic and social uses of intangible cultural heritage, as well as the effects derived from litigation.

The purpose of this work is to analyze the possibilities of crowdfunding strategies as financing alternatives to the resource management processes of cultural spaces. For this purpose, the experience of the cooperative partner program "Red de Amigos de la Cultura" of the “Centro Cultural de Coyhaique” and its results are reviewed. The review of this case leads us to evaluate the feasibility of the various existing financing alternatives for artistic and cultural projects, such as the “Ley de Donaciones Culturales” and to reflect on the role of the State in Chile as guarantor of cultural rights.

It’s pretended to show that between 1850-1920 the classical models are resignified by architecture and sculpture in cities like Santiago and Buenos Aires, and with those manifestations in the public space an elitist posture is set on but also the public cultural heritage is covered by segregation and westernization of the cities aesthetic. There for, it shows how the center of the cities is installed as an axis and supports the visuals that ease up the disposition of the classical aesthetic, but also that the classical models are installed in a conspicuous and timeless way. A rereading of this resignifications or of the classics in the public space will help to a more culturalist and contextualized understanding in the history of the two Latin-Americans cities.

The text brings approximations between ideas that marked the administrations of Mário de Andrade (1935-1938), AloísioMagalhães (1981-1982), and Gilberto Gil (2003-2008) as holders in public management institutions of culture i n Brazil. The research, to date, has focused on observing the structuring of the respective organs, as well as some programmatic lines guiding the policies sought by these three public managers of culture and their importance in the construction/sedimentation of identity values and citizenship.

The aim of this paper is showing up and analyzing main data metrics used by Puerto Rico to measure cultural activities. Culture has been transformed from a national and symbolic vector to an economic game-changer agent. Government agencies around the world involving cultural policies worked out a data system to visualize its capital value and social impact. Given the importance to fit in this trend Puerto Rico faces a remarkable challenge as public agencies appear with many flaws on providing information, provide just a handful data reports on cultural activities, have overly relied in U.S data and lack of a proper system for measuring cultural and creative activities from a broader view. In addition, we will examine current data measurements for culture around Puerto Rico as well intends to show a globally recognized methodological framework in order to develop a Cultural Satellite Account.  Subsequently there is a comparison between three countries recognized by building metrics and statistical tools to measure creative and cultural economic activity.

Little is known about the cultural policy in semi-urban and rural spaces in Mexico. The aim of this article is to typify the current cultural policy of the Direccion de Cultura and the Centro Universitario de los Valles, in Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico, which can serve to make decisions or generate broader, deeper and more constant research. It uses the classification proposed by Coelho (2009) to locate the types, after describing the cultural action, and distinguishing content alluding to culture and cultural politics. It concludes that cultural politics in Ameca sustains conservative and syncretic discourses, and performs discretionary and incoherent cultural actions. So, in general, can be classified into various types such supply-demand logic, patrimonialist and promotion of creation, nationalism, culture outside the cultural market, directing and cultural democratization, and of intervention and coordination. These characteristics can generate little cultural impact, inefficiency and operational inefficiency, and problems such as acculturation and discrimination, despite immediate results, accumulated experience and available resources.

Introduction: child-to-Parent Violence (CPV) is alarmed in society due to its increase and frequency in recent years. This type of violence is one where the child acts intentionally and consciously, with the desire to cause harm, prejudice and / or suffering to their parents, repeatedly, over time and with the immediate purpose of obtaining power, control and dominance, this behavior could be related to substance use due to the aggressiveness and lack of control that the consumer presents when under the influence of the substance.  Objective: analyze the available literature on the relationship between CPV and drugs consumption in adolescents.  Method: a systematic search was carried out in the PUBMED, EBSCO, Elsevier, Lilacs and Google Scholar databases, to identify articles published between January 2010 and July 2019.  Results: the studies showed that according to the CPV classification, physical violence is the most exerted by men, while women refer more psychological and verbal violence towards their parents, in addition it was found that CPV shows a relationship with the consumption of licit and illegal drugs.  Discussion and conclusions: although the full extent of this form of violence in the Mexican population is unknown, it highlights the importance that the nursing professional design psycho-family interventions to prevent these risk behaviors.
