Strategic Leadership: Key perspective towards social responsibility in Higher Education Institutions

Resumen
The general scope of this study is to understand strategic leadership as a key perspective towards social responsibility in higher education institutions. The research is sustained in authors such as (Hax and Majluf, (2009), Etkin (2011), among others, in addition to the contributions made by the informants, and the opinion of the same researcher.). From this perspective, ethnography is chosen as a method, oriented from the current of thought: symbolic interactionism with an experiential introspective approach. Based on this, information was obtained through observation and semi-structured interviews. The results indicated that the evolution of the context puts pressure on organizations to formulate strategies in order to minimize the negative effects of competition on their performance and, at the same time, take advantage of opportunities. This dynamism in which organizations find themselves promotes changes that encourage the constant renewal of objectives, as well as the modification of people’s preferences to whom they direct their efforts.

During the International Women's Strike, in 2019, high rates of citizen mobilization were registered in several countries. The general objective of the research is to analyze the #8M digital conversation. This research uses the classic analysis of content combined with data mining and different softwares that are used to extract and organize information that is not possible to obtain by conventional statistical methods. The study is part of the theoretical developments of technopolitics and gatewatching.

Resumen
The monitoring of gases, temperature and humidity is important for quantifying the benefit of microorganisms within the decomposition of organic matter. Due to the difficulty of obtaining automated devices, this type of monitoring is usually done manually and with a daily resolution for sampling. Based on such a problem, this study aims at developing an automatic monitoring system using free software and DIY hardware, capable of testing the environment temperature and humidity, also, the temperature within the decomposing matter, as well as the gases emitted during degradation of organic matter (methane, ammonia and carbon dioxide), in two different containers. One of the packages was treated with beneficial microorganisms, while the other package was not treated. A reduction of polluting gases such as methane, ammonia and carbon dioxide has been demonstrated by 93.09%, 35.17% and 13.63%, respectively.

In the case of delicate elements such as fossils, the use of the scanner is the most appropriate, since it uses a technology that allows the collection of information digitally with the purpose of: information gathering, modeling or restoration or even, after modeling, it is possible that individual element assemblies can be made to duplicate elements or recreate whole bodies. The results of the application developed in this work, have approximations very close to the real ones, evidencing the effectiveness of the implemented methodology. Subsequently and once the 3D model is obtained, the necessary operations for the reproduction of the reconstructed fossil are carried out using rapid prototyping equipment; for which suitable software is used to allow these procedures to be executed and, in this way, to develop the complete integration from 3D scanning to obtaining the final element in digital or physical form.

Resumen
This research is important for the reflection of cooperative teaching work and the relationship with parents, analyzing the consequences for overprotected children, preventing integral development by decreasing their capacity for independence. The objective is to determine the quality of the autonomy, skills, abilities and strengths development, in order to identify the cognitive, physical and social level within personal development areas, considering the bond of the family and the school as a cooperative working relationship; walking in values, habits and attitudes that help them in school performance and the support at home. As conclusions, it is evident that the teacher is a pillar in the teaching-learning process, since they may create the emotional environment that is strengthened in personal and educational training. Likewise, the constant communication with parents is part of integral development, thus establishing a relationship that increases solidarity, respect, collaboration and educational work inside and outside the classroom.

With the purpose of describing and analyzing the fundamental aspects of the system under study, the methodological process was carried out in accordance with the general objective of the research: "To analyze the reliability, maintainability and availability of the water reinjection system of the PETROAMAZONAS EP company, Block 18 ZPF, by means of CMD analysis. The study was made up of five multistage pumps: P-1501A, P-1501B, P-1501C, P-1501D and P-1501E. The maintainability indexes of the water re-injection system of the PETROAMAZONAS company were calculated and analyzed. The average times in MTTR repairs, of the pumps P-1501 A and P-1501 B are between 30.98 and 23.67 hours; while the MTTR for the pumps P-1501 C and P-1501 D are between 3.66 and 12.79 hours. Finally, the MTTR of the pump P-1501 E is 100.76 hours.

Resumen
In Ecuador, a process of productive transformation is sought to allow progressing towards greater growth and equity, which are tasks that depend on the human capital of the countries and on the ability of people to solve new problems through the exercise of knowledge, competences and acquired skills that increase their productivity and quality of life. In the leather and footwear industry of Tungurahua province, it is necessary to increase organizational effectiveness in a way that contributes to the development of strategies in the change of the productive matrix, for which the measurement and management of intellectual capital is set as an objective of the sector. The research is non-experimental, mixed and with descriptive – explanatory scope. The most relevant results are presented according to the perspective of customers, employees and business owners.

Resumen
The research was addressed from the quantitative approach, descriptive research and the Pearson’s correlation, with the general objective of determining the relationship of plastic, waste in internal and environmental tourist activities in Tungurahua province- Ecuador, with a population sample of 384 people. The correlations with equal or less than 0.05 (5%) level of bilateral significance were selected, concluding that the plastic and waste are causing damage to the internal tourist activities in the province. The internal tourists of Tungurahua province show that when travelling, they consume 65.3% of plastic products, for this reason, as an alternative solution, it is proposed to implement the circular economy model, with the purpose of creating an ecological culture in society.

Resumen
The research presents the M3S methodology as an alternative in the development of projects based on data analytics, because it allows to use mathematical models and exploit data to generate knowledge without neglecting important aspects for any activity such as the maturity level of the information and methods that have to do with Artificial Intelligence, especially, decision trees and machine learning. The main objective of the methodology in bringing all these aspects that will help a lot in the processes of extraction, transformation and loading, ensuring the best choice within the organization. By implementing a decision methodology, the exploitation of information can be improved and more reliable results may be obtained, making more timely and effective decisions over time.
