Resumen
In the current conditions of the economy, it is essential to use modern management techniques, as one of the possible ways for the development of the country. The guidelines of the economic and social policy of the Party and the Revolution strengthened and perfected the economic model of Cuba, confirming that the socialist planning system will continue to be the main route for the direction of the national economy and that it should be transformed in its aspects methodological, organizational and control. The objective of this research is to design the implementation of a balanced scorecard procedure, with an integrating and participatory nature, that contributes to the improvement of the strategic business management of the CANEC-Guantánamo Economic Consulting, for the fulfillment of the planned objectives, compatible with the demands of the national environment.

Resumen
The article addresses the integrated management of quality, environment and safety and health at work, demanding with emphasis the reinforcement of leadership as a premise for correct business management. Its objective is to design a procedure for the integrated management of quality, environment, safety and health at work with a leadership focus. It is based on the requirements of the standards: NC ISO 9001: 2015, NC ISO 14001: 2015, NC ISO 45001: 2018, UNE 66177: 2005 and the experiences of the models and approaches of integrated management consulted. Theoretical and empirical scientific research methods were used. With the design of the procedure, integrated management is encouraged, reinforcing the leading figure.

Resumen
Nowadays, the informatization of public and business management is a necessity that Cuba has assumed. The informatization management follows a simple-to-complex approach, first focusing on infrastructure and information availability to then allowing digital business, electronic commerce and automation. The goal of this paper is to show the convenience of keeping attention on two important dimensions in the informatization: integration (of data that is currently managed in isolation) and the use of computational intelligence. Thus, we study two cases related to the possible design of services (transportation network design, and victim attention). The argument, based on probable assumptions, demonstrates how these services may be improved base on an integrated and intelligent informatization.

Resumen
The Strategic Direction, as a management model, has gained in universality, treating the relationship between the environment and the organization dynamically. Planning in entities requires innovative application of theoretical precepts that exist internationally for its execution. Its implementation in various sectors of the economy, has allowed the authors to gain experience and have their own criteria on how they are executed, so the objective was to carry out a critical analysis of the Strategic Management, models and tools used, under the method of analysis and synthesis, with its own criteria, to conclusively propose a new way of doing things, simple and profound at the same time: the JAMM Strategic Management Model. This model has been used in practice.

Resumen
Process documentation is essential for its management and improvement. The objective of the paper is to recognize the importance of process documentation, and provide integrated tools as a contribution to its improvement and management. Empirical and theoretical methods are used, associated with the procedures that are presented and derived from document review, observation, interview, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, with their verification and enrichment in social practice. A set of tools is presented, with a starting point in the process and indicator sheets, namely: the analysis of added value, the dictionary of activities, the modified DACUM Method, the knowledge maps and the audit of the management of the knowledge. As a result, the harmonious integration of the tools for the improvement and management of the processes is achieved, contributing robustness to the documentation of processes.

Resumen
The objective of this study is to deepen the results obtained to date in the Special Economic Zone of Cartago and the measures that can be taken to enhance its achievements. To carry out this study, the Knowledge Management and Generation Methodology was used. A review of the emergence of Special Economic Zones was carried out and the case of the Cartago Special Zone was selected for study, which was created in 2009 led by the Technological Institute of Cosa Rica and in coordination with its Liaison Center. Among its main results are the support in the installation of at least 25 new companies and the generation of more than 7000 new direct jobs. It is recommended that an action plan be carried out to overcome the results obtained by the year 2025, taking into account aspects such as innovation, quality systems, protection of the results obtained, and taking into account the 2030 Agenda and the Objectives of Sustainable development.

Resumen
In the article, a study of the regulatory framework of quality management in projects is carried out, according to the standards of the International Organization for Standardization. It aims to offer an interpretation to project managers of what to do? and how to do? to carry out the implementation process of ISO 10006, in harmony with project management practices of ISO 21500 that coexist in organizations. The methods used were theoretical and empirical, among which stand out: analysis and synthesis, induction - deduction, systemic structural, direct observation and documentary review. The quality of projects, according to the ISO 10006 standard, is managed through the planning, establishment and maintenance of a quality management system for each project, structured in processes, with their activities, resources, managers, documented information and references, displayed in the quality plan.

Resumen
The Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment is the governing body of the Environmental Policy in Cuba and is in charge of controlling the hazardous waste in the country. The objective of this article is to establish the route of change until 2025 to intensify control of the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in Cuba. Different methods were used such as documentary analysis, specialist criteria, analysis and synthesis, strategic foresight, and actor mapping. It was concluded that the administrative control will be oriented to the concentration of resources and the demands depending on the waste generators, determining classification thresholds in tree priority groups. Some initial results of the elaborated route of change are presented.

Resumen
Patents are important assets for biotech organizations. The goal of this work is to characterize the patent portfolio of Center of Molecular Immunology as well as the developed strategy in order to extend the patent life of its innovative products in commercialization and two products under clinical evaluation were evaluated. The data were obtained from the Center of Molecular Immunology Patent database and was processed in Excel 2016. The inventions were classified in different categories and an analysis of the development time of the products under evaluation was performed. The patent portfolio of Center of Molecular Immunology is in correspondence with the mission of this Company and a pro-active management of said portfolio is performed. In addition, the patent life management of the two products in development evaluated in this study must be reinforced.
