Resumen
The care of water sources in the Colombian territory is a priority that is part of the challenges that arise from the proposal of the Sustainable Development Goals. In this context, the role that Environmental Education plays at all levels of training is important and from there it becomes relevant to review and learn the scientific concepts derived from water as a pure substance, which implies a didactic work that has take into account the different types of concepts that are part of the scientific disciplines that converge in environmental language.
Therefore, a reflection is proposed around the results of two investigations carried out by the Planning Research Group in Efficient Environmental Management of the Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca that demonstrate the need for conceptual foundation to transcend arguments, from the valuation of water only as a water resource until the valuation of the compound as a reagent with definitive properties for the sustainability of the planet and our territory.

Resumen
The low level of oral skills in learning English as a foreign language seems to be related to the lack of spaces and opportunities to interact in dynamic learning environments since the texts and study materials are not related to the context in which the student lives. This research answers the question of whether a b-learning ecosystem with devices for monitoring learning and integrated into cultural dimensions of the students’ environment improves the learning of oral skills in learning English. The proposal is based on advances in research on ecosystems of learning and embodied cognition. A system is designed from the specification of learning spaces integrated into a spiral structure. An online learning environment integrates with an ecosystem with elements of Boyacá cuisine to develop communicative interactions and autonomous learning activities. The proposal is validated by taking as population, grade 11 students from the Colombian system and two equivalent samples of selected students, based on previous performance in the English subject in the current school year. Statistical analysis of results supports the positive answer to the research question and supports the importance of the cultural integration of learning b- learning ecosystems in foreign language learning.

Resumen
This article objective is to identify that socio-spatial and residential segregation in contemporary intermediate cities in Latin America differs in conceptualization and applicability in space. For this purpose, a documentary review was carried out that included articles, theses and reports from institutions related to the subject published between 1900 and 2018 that defined or used as categories of analysis the socio-spatial and residential segregation. It was found that: first, socio-spatial and residential segregation processes are articulated with the economic globalization and
neoliberal system, practices that exist in the territory and space; secondly, that population is located / agglomerates according to their socioeconomic conditions allowing people to settle in certain places, characterized as homogeneous; thirdly, the income potential puts a devaluation, discredit or deterioration of the territory, or on the contrary a valuation of some sectors. It is right to conclude that site’s location that are segregated is particularly located on the periphery of the cities and an effect given to this presents problems of insecurity.
