Resumen
In a globalized world of show industrialization, sports arenas have become new and technological entertainment centers, which concentrate millions of fans to take part of a collective party. In the Ecuadorian experience, although soccer has been qualified as the main sport discipline, the attendance at stadiums has denied this devotion to the professional championship and has rather shown a lack of interest that has contributed to the deterioration of the quality of this tournament. This study wanted to deepen into one of the factors that has received less attention from sports managers, emphasizing in the type of hospitality offered by soccer stadiums in Ecuador. With a work line based in a quantitative method and considering polls as a data collection tool, this research focused on the province of Pichincha, where four of the most important professional soccer arenas settle. The main objective was to find out the level of comfort, hygiene and security that a fan perceives at the time of paying a ticket and attending a first division soccer game.

Resumen
Population diversity and social and economic factors could influence urban life. The present work studies the association of population diversity with socioeconomic status, socialcohesion and speaking of a native language. Population diversity was calculated by applying the Shannon´s entropy index, considering ethnic self-identification. To represent socioeconomic status, I used the multi-criteria index of urban deprivation for the city of Quito. Social cohesion was expressed as the percentage of people that have lived in the same place in the last five years. Additionally, the variable of percentage of people that speak an indigenous language, was considered. An exploratory regression analysis was applied using population diversity as dependent variable, and the rest of the variables as independent variables. The spatial autocorrelation of the dependent variable was also calculated. The obtained results showed that population diversity could be explained by socioeconomic status, social cohesion and the speaking of a native language. I also found evidence of spatial patterns for the variable of population diversity.

Resumen
This article aims to analyze a phenomenon that was not very widespread in the second half of the twentieth century, such as the comprehensive rural development projects (DRI) deployed in our country based on external financing, in a context of political control of the danger of eventual agrarian reforms to restore rights to the most vulnerable agricultural sectors. That is why, to counteract this offensive, impetus was given at the request of the "Alliance for Progress" to promote public policies aimed at mitigating the effects of possible socialist reforms and creating a favorable scenario to block the expansion of the Cuban project in the southern cone.
Specifically, the analysis of integral rural development projects such as that of the Rio Dulce Corporation, in the time when it lasted, (between the mid-1960s and the beginning of the 1990s) tries to explain the history to a great extent. on the social and economic development of the irrigation zone of the province of Santiago del Estero in the second half of the 20th century. It also provides elements to interpret the underdevelopment present in the studied area. The analysis is carried out within the framework of the actors involved in the project; settlers, cooperatives for production and placement on the market.
Thus, the development of an unfinished agroindustrial pole acquired significant importance during the time the planning project lasted. Therefore, we propose to examine the small agricultural production, inserted in a gradual process of decomposition, which occurred with the experience of the development project articulated between the Rio Dulce Corporation, the provincial and national state and foreign credit and planning agencies, with the purpose of explaining the instability caused by certain foreign policies that, supported by theories promoting exogenous development, would leave as a result a deteriorated productive space and an unfinished social formation.

Resumen
This article addresses the institutional course of two nodal agencies in the operation of the Ministry of Industries and Public Works of the province of Mendoza, between 1932-1943. As a result, it was noted that, under the aegis of national policies to alleviate the adverse effects of the crisis of 1929, the Directorate of Architecture and the Directorate of Industrial and Agricultural Development designed and implemented policies aimed at public works, viticulture and diversification agroindustrial, respectively. The complementary approach of both dependencies allows us to conclude that the first one faced long-term projects but with forceful and lasting effects; the other in the short term but with immediate results. In both cases, they assumed the management of key areas that resulted in the incorporation of specialized personnel and the reorganization of the dependencies with a view to meeting the growing demands of a provincial State, which expanded its interference with action.

Resumen
In this article we will describe the research and intervention agenda developed during the 1960s and early 1970s in Argentina by the Health Sector of the National Development Council (SSC), to show how an economistic conception of public health, built from of statistical indicators of a novel nature, was the driving force of an intervention project on the health system. To do this, we use a combination of documentary analysis and in-depth semi-structured interviews. Based on this case, we seek to show the process of economizing national health statistics, as well as contributing to case studies of state agencies, their capacities and technical political projects in general and on the National Development Council (CONADE) in particular. The latter functioned between 1961 and 1971. This council was created with the aim of coordinating and designing a national development strategy based on a state-driven model of industrialization. To do this, it created specialized offices on various topics, such as the Health Sector, prepared national and sectoral development plans, and advised various government agencies. We will show how this research agenda actively intervened in the debate on the relationship between social economic development and population health. Also, how this was translated into statistical tools that constituted an image in quantitative terms of the health sector characterized by state monopoly, regional inequality and the lack of appropriate regulations. The combination of this way of describing the health system, the diagnosis produced and the planning orientation of CONADE led the SSC to propose an agenda for the reform of the health system characterized by the expansion of coverage, the installation of health insurance and the control of public spending.
