Resumen
The level of integral maturity in three metal mechanic enterprises located in Quevedo city, Ecuador, is assessed based on a group of requirements expressing the factors describing enterprise efficiency. From this, the integrality of the proposed index. Different relative weights are given to the factors, which depend on the requirements for assessing the maturity level of the enterprise. This concedes additional value to this assessment. INDUHORST, one of the three organizations, obtains 5.96, which means ¨growing enterprise¨ with a tendency ¨to sustainability¨. Then follows JATARIC, with 4.81 also considered a ¨growing enterprise¨. Finally, MAQGRO gets 4.58, enough to classify under the category ¨growing enterprise¨, but showing a strong tendency to be considered only a stable enterprise. In each case aspects to be improve can be distinguished, so that higher competitivity levels could be achieved.

Resumen
The methodological model known as research-teaching nexus can be considered as an strategic factor for the learning process at university in at least three different ways, namely: 1) in terms of scientific and academic productivity and competitiveness at the institutional level; 2) in terms of individual training addressed to the successful integration in labor markets which are increasingly competitive and 3) for the improvement of the efficiency on project planning and resource management in both the public and the private sectors. Under any of the former perspectives, it is apparent the potential contribution of interactive- and experimental-guided teaching in transferring prominence to students during the attainment of a number of abilities and competences.
The aim of this paper is to present and discuss two cases inspired by this type of teaching methodologies. These experiences are carried out in subjects of Social Sciences degrees at the Universities of Jaen and Murcia (Spain).
Around these experiences some tools applied over diverse stages of the learning program and with diverse objectives are commented, namely: foundations for diagnose base on research problem solving, practical understanding of concepts, data collection-generation techniques, and means of presentation and dissemination of research findings. The main constraints and handicaps that students have to face during the development of their projects are commented as well. Finally, some learning outcomes attained together with some difficulties that were found over the application of this methodology and the advances on the targeted competences are discussed.

Resumen
The objective of this paper is to discuss and propose a new model for the study of the Organizational Commitment, since such a fragmented research as the current one, derived from the diversity of models that have followed each other since the beginning of its study (Becker, 1960), has generated a great deal of confusion. Confusion, which has also been increased by specialists in factorial analysis, by focusing too much on the mathematical interpretation of their results and forgetting the very nature of measurement. Circumstances that justify: a) the development of a philosophical framework for the Organizational Commitment, which supports it from a double perspective: that of the worker, and that of the organization according to the leadership style that is used by management; b) the discussion, based on the referred framework, of the three-dimensional proposal of Allen & Meyer (1990), since as it has been sufficiently demonstrated in diverse investigations (Bergman, 2006; Cohen, 2003; Jong-Wook, Price, & Mueller, 1997; Solinger, Van Olffen, & Roe, 2008), not all its dimensions measure this type of commitment; c) the concretion of the proposal itself, based on the empirical research carried out to that end, of a new study model that serves as a guide to the empirical part of the future research. The present work proposes a new model of Organizational Commitment, which defines it as a construct of a single dimension of an affective nature, which is moderated by the ethical conception of the worker.

Resumen
Technology and the new digital era are motivating huge changes in all sectors of the economy. In the financial area, the application of technology results in what is known as fintech. Although the combination of finance and technology has been accompanying us for decades, in recent years it has gained increased relevance due to the rapidity with which innovations appear as a result of the democratization of digitalization, that is, the massive and cheap access to new technologies by companies and consumers. The fintech phenomenon encompasses a wide variety of areas, also called verticals, including means of payment, alternative financing, financial advisory, cryptocurrencies, blockchain, insurtech and big data, among others.
This study focuses on the impact of fintech on payment methods, where a real revolution is taking place. The use of cash is declining due to the emergence of new and varied methods such as digital wallets, P2P platforms and other alternatives whose use is less widespread, such as direct carrier billing. The study provides a detailed analysis of these innovations explaining their operation, the main agents and their evolution. Future perspectives are also addressed in order to know what the future holds and the possible implications and adaptations of the changes that are to come, related to blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, the Internet of things or quantum computing.

The main objectives of this paper are twofold: first, to identify the different business models that exist in the olive oil sector in Spain; and second, to provide an analysis of the economic-financial performance of each identified business model. The methods used to achieve the two objectives include the factor analysis, the cluster analysis and the economic-financial analysis through the employment of ratios. The results of this paper show that in Spain there are five major business patterns or business models: i) large companies oriented to the olive oil exports; ii) small companies that export not only olive oil but also other complementary products; iii) commercial oil mills operating mainly in the national market; iv) cooperative oil mills oriented to the national market; and v) commercial companies whose main activity is the distribution of olive oil. Of these five business models identified, the most profitable and solvent corresponds to the one formed by the distribution companies, while the model of the large exporting companies presents serious problems of future viability.

Resumen
This paper highlights that sustainable endogenous development of cross-border regions is determined by the quality of the institutional system and by the scope of regional leadership on each side of the border, which supports the dynamics of the substantive processes of the development model. It is assumed that sustainable development in its integral dimension of a region can be achieved through a process that is supported by an institutional infrastructure referred to the system of laws, regulations and effective norms that reinforce the capacity and aptitude of a place to make better use of its resources and achieve a dynamic territory that is competitive and enterprising; and for extended, proactive and strong leadership.

Resumen
The Ibero-American Institute of The Hague, for Peace, Human Rights and International Justice, an organization under the auspices of the International Criminal Court, an annual judicial simulation exercise planned for students of different university cycles. The roles adopted by the participants in the contest are those that actually prosecute, prosecute and prosecute. It is one of the most relevant judicial simulation competitions of its kind in the international arena, as it involves the introduction of students into the competencies required in international jurisdictional courts, among which is the International Criminal Court. This work exposes the experience of the preparation and the impact of the team that represents the University of Jaén in the VII edition of the Simulation Process that took place in, La Haya, in 2019.
