Introduction: Global cardiovascular risk, defined as the probability of developing a serious cardiovascular disease in a given period of time, is considered the best tool available in primary health care for the approach to cardiovascular disease. Currently, multiple risk assessment methods are available; specifically in Cuba, five charts have been used.Objective: To describe the results of the studies conducted in Cuba with the prediction charts for global cardiovascular risk.Methods: A nonsystematic review was carried out, based on the consultation of databases and the use of the following descriptors: enfermedad coronaria [heart disease], factores de riesgo [risk factors] and hipertensión [hypertension]. From the obtained results, 29 original scientific articles estimating global cardiovascular risk in the Cuban population were selected.Results: The following charts have been used in Cuba: the classic Framingham chart; the one designed by the European Society of Hypertension and Cardiology; the one from the World Health Organization/International Society of Hypertension for the Americas region, subgroup A; the nonlaboratory Gaziano chart; and the one proposed by the Cuban Guidelines for Arterial Hypertension. The use of these tables have yielded heterogeneous results, which may be associated with the dissimilar distribution of risk factors, the inclusion of subjects within different levels of dispensarization, and the employed study design.Conclusions: A cardiovascular risk prediction chart adjusted to the epidemiological reality of Cuba should be designed.

The objective of this work was to analyze, from an anthropological and feminist perspective, the circus performance Hendiduras, held in 2022 at the National University of San Martín in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as a degree thesis in Performing Arts focused on Circo por Victoria. Marecos and his women's acro-duo troupe. I intended to explore the dimensions of kinesthesia, corporality, affects and performance as producers of embodied and gendered knowledge that twist heterosexual codes in two interrelated aspects: in the hegemonic acro-duo circus technique that assigns the cisgender man the role of "strong" or "portor" and the woman of "volante"; and in the scenic space of the circus, making appear collective and innovative and dissonant ways of dramatizing femininity in the circus. Finally, I cross-linked the scenic piece with the broader context of effervescence of the feminist movement of which it is a part.

This article presents a discussion of architecture for contemporary theater spaces. The following were established: to characterize and discuss contemporary practices of the scenic arts, identifying their spatial needs; and present guidelines for the construction of contemporary theaters. The methodology used was the bibliographical discussion, the examination of architectural examples and the study of the theatrical context. As conclusions it was possible to realize that cities have demands of new theaters and that these spaces should be flexible environments and that favor a closer and interactive relationship between the public and actors, favoring modern scenography, sound, projection and lighting technologies.

Review of the book Balé Teatro Guaíra: 52 years of a history of dance in Paraná, written by Cristiane Wosniak. the work is a historical record that contains, among impressively vivid and clear images, testimonies, trajectories, curiosities and perspectives related to the main pillar of dance culture in Paraná. Transiting between past, present and future, the author presents us with almost four hundred pages, a detailed work that stitches education, body and memory; an engaging plot that will surely awaken in the reader his dancing verve.

This study examines vulnerability in acting using bioethics, social sciences and psychology revealing it as a crucial and significant aspect for further development. To observe, develop and apply vulnerability to acting, Coletiva Teatro divides the creative process in phases as a methodical parameter. From Stanislavski's, Fabião's, and Féral’s perspectives on acting, vulnerability reveals itself as pertinent for projects involving acting, performance and performative theatre. The observation of vulnerability and its respective vulnerating agents allows the recognition of its operating modes and the search for creative solutions that enable a healthy and productive relationship with it as a potent artistic tool.  

Introducción: medir el resultado es una parte fundamental de la buena práctica médica, definir la calidad de la atención y evaluar la efectividad de las intervenciones, los resultados actúan como puntos finales en los ensayos clínicos para guiar la práctica basada en la evidencia, siendo estos los protagonistas del desempeño individual de los cirujanos. A medida que la práctica médica cambia de atención centrada en la enfermedad a atención centrada en el paciente, los resultados informados por el paciente han tenido prioridad en la salud. Es posible que las medidas no aborden lo que más importa a los pacientes, aunque se reconocen cada vez más los efectos holísticos de la enfermedad en múltiples aspectos del bienestar de las personas, como la utilidad de las intervenciones enfocadas en términos de calidad de vida y síntomas de los pacientes, además de las medidas biológicas de la enfermedad. Metodología: Se realizará un estudio cualitativo, descriptivo y reflexivo que pretende identificar los factores que influyen en la calidad de vida posterior a los procedimientos quirúrgicos. Resultados: Serán medidos mediante entrevista a los pacientes tipo encuesta sobre el modelo SERVQUAL de forma presencial o telefónica a pacientes atendidos en el servicio de neurocirugía que fueron sometidos a diversos procedimientos quirúrgicos. Discusión: Existe una necesidad de realizar de forma protocolaria una PROM en pacientes neuroquirúrgicos para abordar las necesidades no satisfechas de los pacientes posterior a someterse a procedimientos neuroquirúrgicos.

Introduction. At present, there are few studies on placentophagy in animals and the benefits that could be derived from the consumption of placentomas, whether of the same species or of a different one. Objective. The objective of this research is to evaluate the effect of bovine placentomas in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in dogs. The study was carried out in the city of Guayaquil. Materials and methods. The placentomas were extracted from the slaughtering center of the city of Guayaquil, being cooked completely at a temperature of 160° Fahrenheit and then dehydrated for 8 hours, to pulverize them and proceed to encapsulate them and supply them to an experimental group of dogs (group A), while the control group (group B), was supplied with multivitamin tablets existing in the market, which contained trace elements such as iron in their composition. Results.  The results obtained in this research were that 60% of the animals that were supplied with placentomas got rid of their iron deficiency amenia. Conclusions. It was demonstrated that the consumption of placentomas does have favorable effects in patients with iron deficiency anemia.

Me da una enorme satisfacción poder estar escribiendo este texto. Su escritura es una demostración del éxito de una iniciativa colectiva iniciada hace unos diez años por un grupo de miembros de la asociación civil Red PyMEs MERCOSUR. La Red, como la llamamos familiarmente muchos de sus miembros, tiene una trayectoria aún más larga ya que sus orígenes se remontan a los primeros años de la década de 1990. La primera reunión anual de la Red se realizó en 1996 (aunque su constitución en asociación civil data de 2002). No haremos demasiadas referencias aquí a la historia de la asociación ya que esos antecedentes pueden verse en un artículo anterior que hacía referencia a esa historia y al protagonismo de su primer presidente en ella (Borello, 2019).En las páginas que siguen sintetizaremos los orígenes de la revista Pymes, innovación y desarrollo (PID), su trayectoria y los aprendizajes logrados en el proceso de publicación. Este texto tiene, también, la intención de subrayar la importancia de las revistas científicas y técnicas como ámbito para la difusión del conocimiento, pero también como lugar de validación de la calidad y pertinencia de la investigación. Las revistas científicas permiten, además, observar tendencias de mediano y largo plazo en las orientaciones teóricas, los temas y las metodologías de investigación.

Con mucha alegría cerramos este 2022 en la Red Pymes –Mercosur habiendo retornado plenamente a los congresos anuales presenciales habiéndonos reunido en Bariloche, pero además con dos grandes hitos para nuestra Revista Pymes, Innovación y Desarrollo. En primer lugar, cerramos con este número el décimo de nuestros volúmenes de publicación, lo que representa diez años de publicación ininterrumpida de nuestra revista. Por ello queremos celebrarlo con un artículo conmemorativo y el llamado a un dossier especial.

Industry 4.0 technologies have generated an expansion of new capabilities, allowing the emergence of new entrepreneurs and firms that develop innovations aimed at improving the sustainability of traditional sectors. AgTech is usually defined in a narrow sense as the emerging industry that combines agriculture and technology, while in a broader sense, it also encompasses food processing, delivery and enjoyment activities ("FoodTech"). This paper aims at exploring the supply of Industry 4.0 technology oriented to the agri-food chain in the central region of the Province of Buenos Aires. For this purpose, an exploratory-descriptive study was carried out by means of a questionnaire addressed to actors that develop innovations oriented to this chain. Four categories of actors were identified as of suppliers: R&D developers, product developers, and service providers with B2B commercial relations, and manufacturers of products oriented to the final consumer (B2C). It is important to highlight the presence of links between these actors with universities and R&D centers, and with other companies and intermediate chambers and institutions. This shows the notion of an ecosystem. Differences are recognized in the characterization of the actors with respect to studies of the AgroTech supply developed at a national level and in other central regions of the country. It is proposed as a future line of research the analysis of the technological capabilities of the ecosystem, incorporating the potential supply of technology that can be developed by the R&D Centers of the region.
