Material and methods: The quantitative approach, scientific method, descriptive level, simple descriptive non-experimental design was used; we worked with a sample of 552 male and female students from five universities in the city of Huancayo. The instrument used was the Scale to evaluate Dommscrolling composed of 25 valid and reliable items. The theoretical foundation of the work was found in the periodical publication of scientific journals published in English. Results: it is evident that only 23.2% show an absence of doomscrolling indicators; prevalence of doomscrolling in women (80.9%) than in men (71.5%); prevalence is also observed in subjects between 20 and 22 years of age (79.4%). Conclusions: It was determined that 39.1% of the evaluated university students denote moderate and high levels of dommscrolling, while 21.7% of them denote the absence of indicators of this variable.

The present investigation sought to describe the approach to citizen competence in secondary education of the Paraguayan educational system, in order to determine its contribution in the formation of young people, who must participate in a critical, constructive and reflective way in the society that experiences a weak democracy. The study is approached from documentary research, with a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings show that, although citizenship competencies are present in the curriculum, the ways of addressing it in the study programs are not specifically established, as well as, it is inferred that they can be identified as an exclusive requirement for the disciplines of the Social Sciences and not so for the other disciplines that are part of the academic component. The role of teachers is also identified as a weak link, so it is necessary to prioritize teacher training and research on classroom practices. On the other hand, the creation and recognition of student centers at the national level is identified as a strength, since these constitute a space for training and citizen participation. Finally, it highlights that democratic training is not only a commitment of the educational system but must be recognized as a responsibility shared with society, especially the family, which is the first school for students and the central nucleus where the courses must be taught. ethical and democratic values.

Investigative skills are essential for proper development at the higher level. The objective of the study was to build a scale aimed at measuring investigative skills, as well as to determine the level of said skills in university students in the city of Piura, Peru. The study was of a non-experimental, instrumental, simple descriptive design, the research had the participation of 1682 students. At the instrumental level, adequate indicators of content, construct and convergence validity were found, as well as adequate reliability and rating indices. At a descriptive level, a predominance of the low level (60.7%) was found, followed by a medium level (30.3%) and a high level (9.0%). In the 7 underlying domains, a predominance of the low level was found in more than 50% of the population. In conclusion, an ideal instrument was obtained for the optimal measurement of the construct. After its application, it was found that the level of investigative skills and their underlying components predominate at a low level.

Augmented reality (AR) has been described as an interactive platform that presents a combination of virtual and real-world elements. Educators must incorporate ICT in the classroom and understand that its primary advantage is to enhance and facilitate the teaching-learning process of the learner. The aim of this paper is to identify, through a systematic review, the advantages of AR as a pedagogical teaching tool. To this end, a search for articles was carried out in different databases, such as Web of Science and Scopus. A total of 529 studies were obtained and, after applying the established inclusion criteria, 38 papers were left for review. The results showed that when AR-based activities are integrated, students of any educational level suggest a higher motivation and academic performance, considering this innovative resource as a more fun and interactive way of learning. In conclusion, it would be interesting to implement AR as a standard approach to learning, given its innovative character and the multiple benefits derived from its interactive nature, immediacy and student motivation.
