In the following article, the caregivers’ perception of the accompaniment program for people with disabilities of the Politécnico Colombiano Jaime Isaza Cadavid is analyzed. This study was developed through a qualitative and quantitative research method that included information-gathering instruments such as surveys, interviews and natural semantic networks, which served as support for the analysis of the work. Among the main results, the importance of the value component of the care program to families with disabilities was identified, as well as elements related to learning and the social component. The discussion of the results is based on three categories: the role of the family, the role of the professional and the characteristics of a care model for people with disabilities. The study concludes that a care program for people with disabilities should focus on a family-based model.

This reflection article aimed to review the benefits that ICT can offer in this era of coronavirus (covid 19) in areas such as remote education with emphasis on foreign languages (LE). To this end, a documentary investigation of ICTs and their use in the LE classroom was carried out. This study is also a qualitative research of descriptive type. The results of this study included the fact that most of the studies consulted stressed that the use of Virtual Learning Environments facilitated the teaching of foreign languages because they allowed the teacher to accompany the student during the learning process, even at a distance. Since the student could access different interactive activities with teachers and other students, thus developing communication skills such as text production and comprehension, oral expression, among others. Likewise, it is stated that these findings require further study and approach by the academy.

Returns to education, measured through the wages received by workers, are a way of measuring how profitable it is for an individual to invest both in time and financial resources. Workers bear an opportunity cost when they decide to spend their time improving their skills and expecting better returns measured in their earned wages. This article seeks evidence to corroborate how profitable, for a Colombian worker, the resources dedicated to their training. From the theory of human capital, a model is constructed that estimates these returns along with other elements that specify the average salary of a Colombian worker.

Consistent with its humanist mission, the Redipe Magazine addresses in this issue reflections and inquiries about issues that enhance pedagogy and thus contribute to providing the best scenarios so that education not only adequately forms learning by understanding but also educates, is say really contribute to the formation of better human beings. The political subject is one of the sustenance of a real pedagogical action, linked to the original and most meaningful principles of education; Professors committed to these ends are agents whose practices fuse the acceptance of the student, the formation of a critical social and planetary consciousness, and active participation in the construction of better beings and worlds, critical of an establishment that imposes efficient criteria and standards on them and on education. for your action. The first article by Professor Burgos is a paradigmatic example of this; also the following 4. Learning in context is also a topic that enhances educational practices, the formation of potentials to generate and resignify knowledge, a question that is part of the other works that make up this publication.

The purpose of the research was to implement a training program that would strengthen the ICT competences of teachers with a multi-grade classroom, through the Educational Action Research methodology, based on the reflection, reconstruction and evaluation of teachers' pedagogical practice. Within the results obtained, it is evident that teachers understand the importance of ICT and are interested in implementing it in their pedagogical practices, that the training of teachers in ICT competences should promote the pedagogical use of ICTs and that internet connectivity is essential but it should not be a limitation to implement ICT in the teaching and learning process

COVID-19 is an infectious disease that has spread rapidly around the world, characterizing a pandemic. Its etiologic agent is SARS-CoV-2, which promotes respiratory infections, mainly with symptoms equivalent to the common cold, but also complications, especially in patients with comorbidities. So far, there are no reports of medication, available to the population, capable of controlling the proliferation of the virus. In this context, an alternative that emerges and is also being discussed is the use of convalescent plasma (CP). Therefore, this study aimed to present a possible therapeutic resource for the care of patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 using CP, based on evidences from the literature. To achieve this goal, databases, such as Google Scholar, Scielo, Science Direct and PubMed, were used to search for evidences. Among the keywords used can be mentioned: “Coronavirus”, “COVID-19”, “SARS-CoV-2”, “convalescent plasma” isolated or in combination. The CP consists of plasma from patients who have already had the disease and recovered, serving as a source of specific antibodies of human origin, since there was the development of humoral immunization against the infectious agent. Therefore, in this case, the intention is to perform a CP transfusion for patients who are sick, neutralizing the pathogen and eventually leading to its eradication of blood circulation, since the antibody circulates in the blood, reaches tissues and protects against infections. There are not many studies available in the literature on the topic yet, but they already show promising results, including those associated with previous evidence of other viral infections such as Ebola, H5N1, H1N1 and measles. It is concluded that convalescent plasma may be a potential therapy for patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 with the highest risk involved. Serious adverse reactions associated with the use of CP have not been described, but an improvement in the condition compared to no treatment.

Boa leitura.
