Resumen
The current spectrum of television seriality, or “third golden age of series”, which attracts increasingly numerous audiences and is the object of study from multiple theoretical approaches, is the product of the development of a series of formulas and production systems that, together with their audiences, have been evolving. This work consists of a compilation of the milestones in the development of series since its genesis in the serialized novel and the radio soap opera, which, upon reaching television, burst into popular culture in a forceful way and generated consumer practices that placed a premium on prime time, up to the current viewing of series on demand through streaming platforms that allows a consumption of television fiction without restrictions of place or time. The changes have affected not only the forms of consumption, but also the narrative paradigms, themes, formal elements and the relationship with a public willing to sign the narrative pact during the necessary seasons.

Resumen
Spanish TV series seek to reach an audience that is increasingly segmented by gender and age. This audience wants to find icons to identify with them, so it is necessary to create characters that represent themselves and stories interesting for them. In the last decade, the representation of femininity in series has grown so that it is easy to find series with female main roles and where male characters have secondary roles. An example of this trend is La Otra Mirada (TVE1: 2018-2019), a series starred by women in different stages of their lives. Their troubles, doubts and conflicts reflect female relationships. The aim of this paper is to analyze stereotypes and gender roles, and how femininity is represented in contemporary television narratives.

Resumen
This paper explores the evolution experimented by non-fiction true crime documentaries in the VOD platforms. Through a bibliographical review and examples taken from the most popular documentaries, we focus on the most relevant changes that have transformed this genre in the context of online streaming platforms. We will also discuss whether these shifts can be considered as a strategy to distance the genre from the sensationalist crime realities of the 80s and 90s on traditional television.

Resumen
Comparative study of two historical and legendary Indian women: Doña Marina (Malinche), who accompanied Hernán Cortés in the colonization of Mexico, and Catalina, partner of Pedro de Heredia, founder of the city of Cartagena de Indias. Both have generated numerous documents in all media: text, audio, iconography, literature, video, etc. This article presents some of these contents, and dwells on the great parallelism of their lives. In the framework of what we understand as critical reading, this discussion offers many possibilities for the exploration of the characters’ personal and historical contexts, as well as a research learning tool for university students. The basis for reflection is provided by two television series of historical fiction.

Resumen
It is generally accepted that cinema has been influenced, from its origin and throughout its history, by other artistic media. There are abundant studies dealing with particular instances of these influences in general, as well as many considerations on specific cinematographic works and their relationship with other artistic productions in the field of theater, opera or dance. This essay focuses not on a narrative analysis of a specific film, instead we venture to propose, on the basis of analogy and anthropological grounds, that, ultimately, the first genesis of cinema as a narrative medium is found in literature.

Resumen
Teaching and learning processes are often influenced by social changes, driving new theoretical proposals in education and new pedagogical strategies that lead to a redesign of study plans. Socioconstructivism has become a benchmark for these new theoretical proposals and learning strategies. Approaches related to socioconstructivism, such as transformative education, ethnomethodology and the skills approach contain educational approaches that are taken into account in the design of new curricular plans. In this sense, the study plan of the Hellen Keller National Center for Education of Costa Rica (HKNCE), which cares for people with visual disabilities and deafblindness, is designed according to guidelines related to socio-constructivism and the educational approaches mentioned that are associated with same. The purpose of this essay is, first of all, to describe the general aspects of socio-constructivism and its proposal in educational matters, with an emphasis on transformative education approaches, ethnomethodology and the capabilities approach. Secondly, the essay aims to establish the links between socioconstructivism and the aforementioned approaches with the HKNCE study plan in Costa Rica. The work is documentary in nature and relies on critical hermeneutics as an analysis technique. It is concluded that the aforesaid study plan is oriented towards socializing, transformative education, based on humanistic values of social justice, critical thinking and community participation.
